I loved everything about this book and couldn’t put it down. I was keen to see where the story would lead then sad when I turned the last page. It is beautifully written and I need to find more books by Jessica Redland to enjoy

The main character, Samantha, is treated so badly by her family (apart from her lovely dad) but she manages to stay a kind individual who befriends Thomas. He is an old man who has lost interest in life and is still grieving for his beautiful Gwendoline who died 20 years ago

Samantha is determined to restore Hedgehog Hollow to the rescue centre Thomas and his late wife planned. If anyone deserves a happy ending it is Samantha. If you like a book that is more than a romance this is the one for you
