"Frankie Comics: The Collection" is a charming comic book that collects the popular web comic strip "Frank Comics" created by Rachel Dukes. This collection will make you laugh and enchant with the daily adventures of Frankie, a lovely blue Siamese cat that has conquered the heart of its owner, artist Rachel, and her partner, Mike.
The comic stripes of "Frankie Comics" capture with charm and humor Frankie's daily sweatings, from stealing snacks and wearing sweaters, to taking the affair of apapacho very seriously. Frankie demonstrates, over and over again, the healthy pleasures of having a cat mate.
This book compiles for the first time the comic strip "Frankie Comics" in a hard color edition that is perfect for all cat lovers. "Frankie Comics: The Collection" is a jewel you should not miss, whether you are a fan of independent comic stripes, or simply a lover of cats.
Rachel Dukes has a unique talent to capture Frankie’s charisma and personality, and her book is a visual and emotional delight that will make you laugh, smile, and maybe even melt.
I recommend "Frankie Comics: The Collection" to anyone looking for a charming and warm read, full of humor and affection. This book is a joy for the senses, and a lasting reminder of the beauty of everyday life.
This is a very accurate portrayal of what it is like living with a cute kitty cat! I also loved all the subtleties in the artwork like tummy pouch, hair on legs, and hair in the armpits. That's life!
Thank you Netgalley for an e-arc of this book in exchange for a honest review. Loved it!
Such a cute and true depiction of cats! I recently adopted a cat and smother him with attention. This book is a great comic about the zany world of cats and how fun and quirky they can be! Frankie gets up to all kinds of hijinks and it was so cute to see them all. Perfect for all cat lovers or just the cat curious!
Love. Love. Loveee. I am a dog person, not a cat person, but I love all animals and love even more comics about families that adopt these animals and how they take over their lives!
A super cute story for cat lovers everywhere. I hadn't heard of the webcomic before picking up this book, but I'm definitely engrossed in the slice-of-life of this little family.
There are tons of cat comics but none as funny as Frankie. Though he doesn't really look like a cat he is still cute in his own way. This book is a great gift idea for any cat lover.
This comic book was so freaking cute! I'm not a cat mom but I do have a dog and these comics were the cutest thing ever, I can completely relate to the different scenarios portrayed by Rachel. And now I just want to have a cat like Frankie. The art style was so cute, and it makes the different stories even better.
A fun and heartwarming read which is perfect for someone with a busy and hectic schedule. This comic is cute and adorable and hard to dislike.
As a cat mom it is my mission to read all of the cat books and I especially love the collections of cat comics that seem to be popping up regularly lately! Rachel Dukes has used her own adorable cat Frankie for inspiration for this book and it was a delight. So much of the humor of silly cat antics in this collection will be relatable to all cat owners and their art style is eye-catching enough to prompt impulse buys by animal-lovers of all kinds!

Thanks to Oni Press for an advance NetGalley of this graphic novel in exchange for an honest review (expected pub date Oct 20, 2020)--
Calling all cat lovers--do I have an adorable book for you! Frankie Comics is based on a sweet real-life story: the author and their partner take in a blue point Siamese kitten that they find outside their door (despite the fact that Rachel is allergic). This warm and kind-hearted graphic novel is composed of cute little vignettes that will be familiar and relatable to all cat owners. Baby Frankie steals burgers, does high-flying jumps to escape baths, and claws at pigeons out the window. I read this entire book with my cat on my lap, which felt right.
Besides the kitty element, this book is a wonderful portrayal of a relationship, and the story shows how loving a pet can be an essential component of a human partnership. I was so glad to read a nice book about a gender nonconforming artist couple who just loves their cat--as opposed to the pet being viewed as the classic heteronormative parenting step toward having kids. This book was so fun and relatable. Now, I'll try to remember that positive feeling when my cat wakes me up at 6AM...
Cute cat comics, but a tad cliched. Heartwarming, but if you have a cat or have been paying attention to the internet for the past 20 years, there isn't much new here. But a good pick-me-up pandemic read.
So this is some comics about the cat Frankie, and it was so lovely with some lovely art. And also funny, I did laugh out alot. would 100% say this is for every cat lover or if you are in need for comics to read.
This is just completely adorable, it’s about a cat and her two owners/humans, I mean it’s about a cat so I was drawn straight away as most the internet will be too. It’s just so cute but also funny, it’s broken down in sections but I read it in one go because it’s so fun. A great book to pick you up and make you happy

This is a very fun look at living with a cat. The daily adventures of Frankie will have you laughing and unable to put the book down. The artwork is so relatable and sweet. I enjoyed the pop culture references throughout as well. In the back matter it mentions cat care too. This book is for anyone who owns cats, have owned or looking to own a cat. This was very enjoyable.
I love my dog, I really do but I think she needs a friend. I suggested a puppy pal to her, it was met with a look of disgust, I suggested a kitten, she promptly packed her bags and left no forwarding address. I like the idea of having a cat but the reality is different!
Meet Frankie, an adorable ball of fluff who makes herself at home on Rachel and Mike’s doorstep and worms her way in to their home and heart.
I devoured this comic, the panels show all the ups and downs of cat ownership. The joy of snuggles, the pain of spending money on toys for them to ignore them, the lack of peace whilst you try to pee or use the computer and the constant meowing, meow, meow, meow at all hours of the day and night!
If you are a cat lover, you’ll love this, if you are a cold hearted cat hater, you’ll be converted. If like me you are on the fence about cat ownership you’ll be off the fence and off to adopt!

Frankie Comics has the same lovely feel as Chi's Sweet Home. You just feel the absolute love for Frankie the cat throughout and it is so endearing! I have lived with roommates who had cats, so while I don't have cats of my own, I can say with certainty, Frankie Comics captures the spirit of owning a cat in full.
A comic about cat ownership. Some good gags but I struggled to finish the book as I didn't care about the cat or any of the characters. You're getting what you think you're getting. Not for me but it is okay for what it is.
The comics are adorable! I don't own a cat but I do own a dog so I could relate to some of these scenarios. My favourites scenarios were "Comfort" and "Bathtime 2", I found them very relatable. I love the art and the colouring, it was very cute and filled the characters with life. I think cat owners would definitely love this comic and I think dog lovers could enjoy this too and find it relatable.
Super adorable and sweet comics about a couple who adopts a kitty that shows up at their house. Completely relatable to anyone who's ever shared space with a cat. Pick this up when you need to feel happy and squee at an adorable cat
