This book is a really fun way to encourage children and young people (and adults too!) to begin to build a daily creative practice. It covers a range of activities, ideas and prompts which you can expand upon or use as a small activity to engage in a small act of creating every day.

This is a lovely idea, not just for children but also for adults. The instructions are clear and the prompts are varied, they really get you thinking. Further to this the book also introduces various artists like Dali & Kahlo so there's a chance for further learning if their interest is spiked. This is exactly the kind of book I'd be looking at as a Christmas or birthday present, I love the fact it has longevity and requires imagination.

My only concern with the book is the size of space allowed within to carry out the tasks. Some pages have 3/4 prompts on them and, as a mum to a nearly 8 year old, I know this would prove a struggle. It won't stop us using the book though, we'll just carry out the tasks alongside the book and keep them together.

Thank you for approving this book for my soon to be 8 year old son!

Full of lots of helpful and useful insights and ideas especially great use in the current world situation being in lockdown now it's hard to find great things to consume to time and keep 8 year olds busy.

Be an artist was loved by my 10 year old daughter also.

Wow this book is amazing - I want it for myself! The cover is eye catching and makes you want to pick it up. 365 activities, one for every day of the year. They are all really cool. I think children 11+ would find this a great daily activity. I like that the activity can take just a few seconds or may take longer, you get to use a range of different things, glue, paint and pencils. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to review this amazing book.

This is a book full of art prompts for every day and little spaces to fulfil them in. This had some interesting prompts and it may be a good little stocking filler.

This is such a lovely book for children. I would recommend it from 6 upwards to really get the most from it, although a younger child could also enjoy it with a parent to read through the activities. Each page gives another art activity, from copying a picture in a grid square to simple things like drawing a perfect circle, finishing pictures etc. Any arty child would enjoy this and it’s particularly perfect just now, but would also be a great Christmas or birthday present.
