I received an advanced reader copy of this book, thanks to Netgalley.

This is my first book by Linda Keir and I loved it! I was drawn in immediately to the plot and cast of characters, and once I reached the middle of the book I did not put it down. The empowered Mrs. Wrights kept the surprises coming, and I was pleased to see how they humiliated the very sly (slimy) Mr. Wright. And to think I was completely turned on by him at the beginning of the book. For me that’s a very well crafted story that takes me from loving a character to thoroughly despising him.

Excellent book! Totally binge-worthy!

Dr. Wright has it all. A successful life, on the Forbes 400, a beautiful devoted wife (Holly) and three kids but that’s not enough, he wants more. Not only does he have a girlfriend but he has two. He thinks everything is fine until things go out of control.
This was a fun read that kept me engaged. The characters were well developed.
Thanks to NetGalley, The authors and publisher for the eARC.

Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

PUBLICATION DAY: September 29, 2020

How many Mrs. Wrights are too many??

PLOT SUMMARY:
Lark, the board game developer, Jessica, the medical professional, and Holly the doctor/mother. These three women have more in common than they could ever possibly imagine. They were each fortunate enough to have found the love of their lives - the only issue? He is one and the same man.

PROS and CONS:
I enjoyed getting to know each of these characters - young, ambitious Lark. Brilliant, forthright Jessica. Responsible, caring Holly. And Trip/Jack/Jon - the consummate charmer, the ladies man, the apple of their eyes. What will happen when these women figure out the man they love has been quite busy?

At times I found myself wishing for a bit “more.” More story, more surprises, more twists??

Light, easy to read and well written. I wasn’t surprised by anything contained, but I was entertained. And I thought the ending was perfect.

YES or NO:
It’s a YES - a good, solid drama that most readers of this genre will surely enjoy.

4 Stars

Jon Wright is the worst. He has been married to Holly for almost 20 years and has three children with her, but that's not enough for him... he is a habitual cheater and all around bad guy. It seems like every time he goes on a work trip, he finds a new girlfriend -- and his latest two are Lark and Jessica. Maybe I've watched too many episodes of Catfished, but some of the lies this dude told seemed so obvious to me. Everything that came out of his mouth was a big fat lie and these poor women just lapped it up.

I liked Lark, Jess, and Holly. They were each so different from one another and I felt so bad for them all. The story is told from each of their points of view. This was a quick read that kept me turning the pages. I was left with some questions, though, like why each chapter was preceded by a quote from a TED talk that Jon did, but it never came into the story so it didn't make a lot of sense.

Overall, I did like the book, it just didn't WOW me. I'd recommend it for a quick juicy book filled with drama.

This book was very well written. Even though it is written from the view point of three different women, I found it easy to follow. The story and conversations flow smoothly. The characters are well developed. Holly is a wife and mother. Jessica is a young doctor beginning her career. She falls in love and spontaneously changes her career plans. Lark is a young woman that has designed a board game for middle school girls to help them learn science. She is about to sell her game idea when she meets someone who wants to help her start her own business and keep her game. These women don't know each other. They will find out that they have more in common than they know. What will they do with that information? People who should be your enemy sometimes make good allies.

This book reminds me of something I keep seeing in these true crime shows, about men who have 3 different names and tries to con women for their money, and marry them all. But what this man does is not all for greed, but for reasons I still don’t understand!!!!

Anyway Jack, is a very rich man, with an amazing wife, whose name is Holly, great kids, and an even more amazing career in the medical research-lets cure the world type of industry. He is a charmer, and handsome as heck for an older man, but he is not what he seems. Jon, has an amazing startup company to cure cancer, has an amazing girlfriend who’s in the medical field and well, whose name is Jessica, and he’s making a ton of money, trying to be the first person ever to come up with some form of chewable that will detect cancer in children. And then finally there is Trip, he is some form of investor capitalist, he meets this amazing woman, whose name is Lark, with her own startup company, he falls in love then POW!

This story takes you all over the place, especially when I found out that Jack, Jon and Trip were all one in the same. This man right here almost got away with being with 3 women all at once, I don’t know how he did it, he was just so good at using his money, and his power to be able to move around the way that he did. I seriously loved this book, especially when they all coincidently end up in the same space. This book is all about secrets, affairs, greed, and wanting to have his cake and eat it too.

This book was empowering to read especially the end. I will most definitely recommend this book to everyone for sure. Thanks Netgalley and lake Union Publishing for giving me the opportunity to read this book.

This reminded me a lot of the Gone Girl-esque books that are released lately. I'm not sure I can do the love triangle anymore. Wouldn't recommend.

3.5 stars rounded up. This was a fun quick read and I found all three narrators stood on their own well and were fleshed out characters. That being said, for a relatively long novel, I kept waiting for the action to pick up, which it didn’t until 68% of the way into the book. I would’ve enjoyed a lot more of the build up to the women meeting one another and fleshing out that portion.

I also have to say, I find it highly unbelievable that two smart women wouldn’t even question why their charming new boyfriend travels so frequently, but maybe that’s jaded of me to admit.

I would read more from this author. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The Three Mrs. Wrights is sort of like watching John Hughes movies in the eighties...not much depth, certainly not innovative, but so much damn fun.

I really enjoyed reading how Jack/Jon/Trip manipulated and lied his way into three separate relationships with three very different women. Although the story was told primarily through the three women's narratives, the reader still gets a good sense of the very repugnant (but charismatic and charming) Jonathan Mitchell Wright III.

I appreciated that Holly, Jessica, and Lark never felt like victims, as they were portrayed as strong, intelligent, and dignified women. The story offered a sense of empowerment to those of us with two X chromosomes. The conclusion was incredibly satisfying.

I'd recommend this one!

Available September 29th.

Sometimes you want to read a book about a trash man getting what he deserves. I'd say this is a perfect beach read - not too demanding and ties up nicely at the end. There's nothing violent, which was so welcome, since so many of these kinds of books leads to a denouement where someone ends up at the bottom of a staircase. I'm so sad this didn't come out until after beach season this year! I also liked the sprinkle of Theranos-esque corporate secrecy. Always a nice touch when something in the book feels really familiar.

Thank you to netgalley and Lake View publishing for the ARC copy.

The summary/teaser for this book had me before even reading it. It reminded me a lot of the show Imposters that was on Bravo. The same man has conned 3 women into being his wives without knowledge of the others. Each brings a different type of support and encouragement to the table and helps him in his career. What happens though when Mr. Wright starts to become Mr. Wrong? Run for this books to find out as you definitely won’t be disappointed!

The innovative and enigmatic Mr Wright wants it all. The first wife who shared his medical ambition but gave it up to look after the children and support his career. The second wife who is still in the medical field and supports the next stage of his career. The third younger ambitious but not in the medical field, an innovator in her own right that could net millions with the right backing. Who does he choose? Which life does he really want? A story that at times seems predictable still manages to surprise and the characters believable. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and will look forward to seeing more from this author.

The title gives it all … there are three Mrs Wright.
Three strangers, three very strong, well developed, female characters who share the same charismatic, extremely rich and philanderer Mr. Wright.

I am in the minority strongly feeling that Jon/Jonathan/Trip isn't an evil guy, selfish yes, but definitively a lover of women ( to a fault surely) building women up with plenty of love to give around. He is supportive and pushes all three women to better versions of themselves, providing them with unique financial and professional opportunities. He keeps amicable connection with old flames ( Alanna at Target providing a step-up for Lark ). He is irrevocably a cheater, but clearly states how much he loves these women.
He does his best to show up for them, supporting their charities or dreams and using all his ressources to provide handsomely for them.
Off course it’s like watching a tea cup juggler on a crash course as there isn’t enough time in a day to hop from one lover to the other.

The book is skillfully plotted and highly readable with short chapter in alternating POV. I really enjoyed it and will recommend it.

Thank You to both the Authors, to Lake Union Publishing for this wonderful ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Bravo to the team as this uncorrected version is closer to a perfect book as I have ever received.

In this case three Mrs. Wrights do make a Mr. Wrong. Holly is married to Jack, Jessica is married to Jon and Lark is engaged to Trip. Unfortunately they are all the same person, Jonathan Mitchell Wright, III. Jonathan runs a company called Cancura. His company is developing a chewable table with nanotechnology that will detect cancers in children before they are sick. He has been married to Holly for 20 years and they have three children but she has suspected him to be unfaithful over the years and then she starts connecting the dots. The story is told from the point of view of each of the women. I liked them all. They were strong and independent and when confronted with the truth they fought back and that was the most delicious part of the whole story. The first 2/3 sets up the ground work for the end which was a fun ride. This isn't your typical thriller, no gunfights or blood, but exciting none the less. I thoroughly enjoyed this and would read more by this author.

Thank you to Netgalley and Lake Union for providing me a copy of this book. This is my honest opinion.

The Three Mrs Wrights by LInda Keir was a very interesting read. Jonathan Wright is a dynamic charismatic speaker who managed to entice three women into being his wife. He was in charge of a medical company offering a promising new technology with discovering cancer. He and his Holly started the company. They had been married for years. They had three children and Jack seemed to always be on the road. His company was growing and he seemed to always have places to go.

Jonathan Wright found Jessica in Phoenix. He found her and wooed her to join him in Chicago at his company that is working on discovering cancer earlier. He hired her to work in his company and be his secret girlfriend. Jessica was wowed by all this, but started to question various things.

Lark has come up with a new game that helps girls love and use science and technology. She was a breath of fresh air for Trip. Trip Mitchell is a man who was willing to invest in Lark and he helped her start a new business and became lovers.

The Three Mrs Wrights are all with the same man - Jonathan is Jack is Trip. You know that things are going to be bad, really bad for that man. I liked the level of twists and turns. I felt badly for each of the women that were taken in by this man. The ending was milder than I might have hoped for, but The Three Mrs Wrights by LInda Keir was a good read.

A very interesting story about one man, his lies, and the three women he's been skilled enough to mislead into being his wife - all at the same time. I was absolutely intrigued by the idea that one con man could lie SO much and SO effectively, so I kept waiting for him to be tripped up in one of his lies...but I was surprised which lie took him down in the end. A very enjoyable read with a (somewhat) happy ending!

This was one of those books that you cancel plans to read. Three very different women who ultimately end up married to the same guy... at the same time. I was fascinated at someone’s ability to compartmentalize each life he was living. I watched for clues or slips or conflict and there just wasn’t anything glaring. It’s terrifying actually that this is possible. The Women he married were not naive, foolish people. They were each very interesting , educated and established in their own lives. As outlandish as the premise was, it just worked. The minute this book is available, call in sick. I just could not put it down! #netgalley #lakeunionpuishing

It took a little bit to get into this, but I really enjoyed it.  As each chapter progressed, I was waiting for Mr Wright to get tripped up by one of his lies.  I thought the big finale with the three Mrs Wrights was brilliant!

Really intriguing read -- I love the setup, which is that three women unknowingly have the same man in their lives, and he presents a completely different picture to each of them, which is fascinating. Great to see how they get their revenge too! Readers will love this.
