This was a fun read that reminded me of the movie "The Other Woman," in that there are three protagonists all tangled up with the same guy. And, as in the movie, they work together to bring him down. There are also hints of Elizabeth Holmes and her company Theranos, as depicted in the documentary "Out for Blood". Jonathan's company and his promises bear a lot of similarities to those made by Elizabeth IRL.

Three POVs - Holly, Lark and Jessica - are told in alternating chapters. The antagonist, Jonathan, appears to have hit three decades with his choices. Holly, his legal wife and pediatrician, is in her 40s as he is, Jessica is a bright MD in her early 30s and recruited to help with Jonathan's start-up (and cover-up) and Lark is in her 20s, a game creator trying to get her start. She's the different one of the two, not as highly educated or privileged but just as fierce.

My main question as I read was - where did Jonathan get the time? Running a start-up requires 110% attention. He also had a family with a very busy wife who, in addition to being a part-time pediatrician, ran a horse-rescue barn. Apparently, Jonathan has a 48-hour day while the rest of us deal with 24, because he's got time to spare for a mistress +1. The logistics of such a life are mind boggling, yet none of the women really question the amount of time he's gone. It was also a bit hard to stay in the narrative, given the backstory that Jonathan gave a TED talk and is a rising star in both business and science circles. How could he go incognito for as long as he did with Lark? The implication is that a woman in her 20s wouldn't pay much attention to the circles he ran in.

Anyway, I enjoyed this read despite its derivative content. The narratives of each woman were unique, each faced different challenges and had different goals. It was entertaining!

Linda Keir takes the concept of relationships and cheating to a whole different level and keeps you hanging on to every word! In The Three Mrs. Wrights, she is able to take a situation that could’ve been cliche, to a much more complex, intriguing, and interesting level. I loved it! The relationships in this book most certainly are not cliche! Although things may look simple on the surface, everything goes much deeper and is more twisted than you can imagine. Once you start reading, you wont be able to stop! I think readers will enjoy this book because the different characters, situations, emotions, settings, and personality traits are diversified and easy to relate to. It is easy to identify with the characters and events. Linda Keir has done a fantastic job capturing the lives of the characters and making everything seem so real! Brilliant!

Plot: The book is told from the different points of views of the main female characters. All three women are in love with the same man, although they do not know he is an entirely different person than who they perceive him to be. Is he Jon, Jonathan, or Trip?

Mr. Wright is married and has three children with his wife, Holly. Although Holly and her husband haven’t been happy in a long time, neither has brought up the conversation of divorce, so they keep going day to day in a somewhat rocky marriage. Her passion is working with kids and rescue horses. Thanks to her husband, she has gained the financial contributions, community attention, and resources she needs to keep her program funded. Every year they have a benefit to raise money for the program, and his charm and largely known contacts bring in the money she needs to keep Horse Stability funded. He has always had to travel for work, but his time spent traveling has been increasing lately. Holly knows that his success and fortune are a result of him keeping good communications with his national and international contacts, so she tries to be understanding of the travel demands he faces. He had an affair the night before they got married though, and once since they’ve been married, so she cant help but be somewhat concerned. Is he really traveling for work, or is he having another affair?

On a business trip he meets another woman, Lark, who is desperately trying to promote and sell a game she invented to possible investors/buyers at a meeting the next day. They meet in the hotel bar, and from that moment on, her life is never the same. She meets with the potential interested individuals, but gets swept up in the promises Trip makes. In the relationship with Lark, she knows him as Trip. He makes a financial offer that is beyond generous, and she is able to start working from an office to get her game on the market. Having convinced her that he is somewhat of an angel investor, she truly believes that he loaned her the money because he genuinely believes in the success of her sales and distribution of her game. He even bought an office space that is large enough to have a room in it for him to work in himself when he is in town. She quickly falls in love with him, despite him being a few years older, and is eagerly anticipating a future being Mrs. Wright. If only he didn’t have to be out of town so much! Then again, his out of town work is what has helped him become so successful, so she can understand.

At a convention, he was a guest speaker and met Jessica. She was ambitious about getting to start working in the medical program at Duke, but he made her an offer she couldn’t refuse. She accepted his offer to work with some of the most brilliant minds to come up with a way to painlessly detect cancer. They live together, but he has to travel frequently because of the problems his soon to be ex wife causes and so he can see his kids. The real problem is that his “soon to be ex wife” isn’t a soon to be ex at all, but of course Jessica doesn’t know that. Due to the needs of her job, Jessica starts having to travel more herself so even she doesn’t have a consistent schedule. It will all be worth it though once the divorce is final, she thinks, as she anticipates a life as being Mrs. Wright.

What happens when the relationships he has with these three different women come closer and closer to being exposed? When Lark shows up to surprise him, how can he sneakily get away from Jessica without her knowing? When Holly shows up at his work, can Jessica keep it together and not mention their supposedly impending divorce? What about when his daughter’s friend happens to see him with another women and casually mentions it at their house? How far can he go to keep his lives separate, and what happens when the truth comes out?

Thank you Linda Keir, Netgalley, and Lake Union Publishing for allowing me the privilege of reading The Three Mrs. Wrights. It was my pleasure! My review is voluntary and expresses my honest opinions.

I really enjoyed this book. It was the perfect book to take poolside or sitting on the porch with a glass of wine. As Mr. Wright uses different versions of his given names and various stories about himself with three different women, I just shook my head as his wicked web unraveled lie after lie. It's that kind of trainwreck you look forward to, you flip the pages for, and soon, you hope, you'll get the sweetest revengeful ending.

I was amazed by how far he went with all three relationships. I'm not sure why, but the extent of the lies and all that went into balancing them was jaw-dropping. I loved following each woman's storyline as the three characters' lives intertwined in such an awesome and unexpected way. The characters were surprisingly strong, which I also loved because even strong women can be duped into believing the man they love for various reasons. The writing flowed very well between POV changes and I will definitely follow other books by Linda Keir.

Thank you, NetGalley for letting me read such an awesome book!

This was a great book to read during these difficult days. Totally engaging story of 3 women and the man with 3 identities who they all loved. Jon, Jack, Tripp mesmerized 3 accomplished, intelligent women. The novel unwinds as his story unwinds. Chapters are introduced with snippets of TED talks about identity and truth by a very interesting author.

I really enjoyed this. I love having a sense of closure and the author(s) did a fine job in conveying it in the last pages. Readers will enjoy the fleshed out characters of Jessica, Holly and Lark.

Definitely recommend for these days of quarantine.

Thanks Netgalley for providing this wonderful ARC.

This book was reminiscent of a Lifetime movie—three women all involved unknowingly with the same man leading up to a satisfying (yet somewhat predictable) resolution. The women’s stories alternated throughout, but I‘m glad I finally heard his thoughts near the end. The ending, which was highly anticipated, seemed a bit rushed and simplistic, making me want more. There were quite a few f-bombs, which I can do without. This was an fun, enjoyable read, and I thank the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.

The Three Mrs. Wrights: A Novel is the first book I have read by Linda Keir.
It is not a fluffy beach read and it is not for the faint of heart, this book will keep you on the edge of your seat waiting for the other shoe to drop from the very first page.
"The Three Mrs. Wrights" is full of deceit and manipulation. Three couples – one man... Holly and Jack (married), Jessica and Jonathan ( engaged then married) and Lark and Trip ( meet, date, engaged married) all at the same time....exhausting.
Women you will like and that are so nice and innocent they would never expected anything like what was happening.
"The Three Mrs. Wrights" isn't you typical mystery but it has a satisfying ending
Thank You to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for this ARC!!

This is a good story and easy to follow, I devoured it in just a few days. The story takes you through the complex live of the main character (jack/jon/tripp) and his 3 women. There are twists and turns and these will keep you guessing until the very end.

I went into reading this book with no knowledge of what it was about but I loved the cover and I'm a cover driven reader! From the title I had a feeling that the book would be about a man conning three different women and it was that and so much more. Jack/Jon/Trip is a master con artist who weasles his way into three women's lives. It's insane how he's actually able to get away with it and get as deep as he does into each of the three relationships. The author does a great job at explaining the three women's relationships with him and shows each woman's perspective on their relationship with Jon/Trip/Jack. Each woman has her own storyline but by the end of the novel, the stories intertwine in such an awesome way (without giving anything away!) I loved Linda Keir's writing style and I loved the flow from one chapter to the next. I really enjoyed this one!

If you love books which see justice served in more ways than one, The Three Mrs. Wrights is definitely the book for you! We follow three couples – Lark and Trip, Jessica and Jonathan, and Holly and Jack – who are all in different stages of their relationships but are all facing the same problem; their male counterpart is seemingly always preoccupied with work and never goes more than a few days without needing to go on an impromptu business trip. While all three women are understanding and accepting in the beginning, they start to realise that the lifestyle they accepted in good faith may actually be spun with a web of little (and some not-so-little!) lies.

I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each relationship in its own merit and became truly invested in seeing which, if any, would work out in the end. The chapter breakdown was split perfectly so that each relationship was given its own time to develop and the smaller details of the storyline could intertwine between the three different accounts. Trip, Jonathan and Jack oozed charm and I could completely understand why the women were drawn into the falsities. As the truth started to creep out, I hoped and prayed that the women would get the upper hand and take back power, proving what can be achieved when we stick together!

I have never particularly enjoyed books about relationships or domestic affairs, but this book has completely changed my opinion and has opened me to the world of women’s fiction. A must-read for those who enjoy revenge in its most satisfying form.

As fun and interesting I found the beginning of the book, I was wondering mid-way if Dateline would need to be called on this Mr. Wright. Granted Lark did an Internet search on the "good to be true" Trip Mitchell, it wasn't near enough, though, to break through the charade. I truly enjoyed the adventures of the three fairly strong, intelligent women and how one man had begun a spider's web of lies and deceptions.

Wow what a great read!

I really enjoyed this story, with it's changing point of view and overlapping storylines, this amounted to an absolute page turner that I gobbled up in 2 days. It follows the story of a charming man hooking up with woman and the promises he makes to each. He ends up in a relationship with three of these women and it follows all of their stories. An addictive read, I would recommend.

The Three Mrs Wrights is a fun, light read, split into short, easily digestible chapters with three main narrators. The 3 Mrs Wrights are likeable enough, and I particularly enjoyed the way they came together towards the end. I also liked the TED talk snippets which set the mood for each chapter.

Although entertaining, the women were frustratingly gullible and too easily sucked in by the charm of a man who couldn't spare any one of them more than a few days at a time. Therefore it wasn't especially gripping until the last quarter of the book when the pace and drama increased. After that, the ending came too quickly and wasn't really a credible finale.

Overall, a story that makes a good holiday/commuting read, and will appeal to many readers.

Thank you NetGalley and Lake Union publishing for an ARC of this novel. This is my honest review.

Thank You to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for this ARC. I really enjoyed this book. It reminded me of a book that I read earlier this year..but this storyline was much more engaging. I can picture the main character in my head...he is attractive, he is powerful..he is a snake. It was hard to put to down....and the ending was satisfying. It's a perfect weekend read.

Holly, Jessica, and Lark all feel like they’ve met Mr. Right. Holly is a part time pediatrician with three kids, a horse rescue, and a charming rich husband named Jack. Jessica is also a doctor who recently left a promising career path to work at a biotech company owned by her new boyfriend, Jon. And then there’s Lark, an up and coming game designer who meets Tripp in a hotel lobby and falls madly in love. The only problem...they’ve all fallen in love with the same person Jonathan (Jack) Mitchell Wright III (aka Tripp).

What I liked: The story is very easy to read and is told in alternating chapters between the three women. Some of the chapter timelines overlap, so we are able to see Jon/Jack/Tripp’s actions from multiple viewpoints. I also liked the three main characters throughout the book. The author did a good job of making you sympathize with them and wonder what was going to happen to them.

What I didn’t like: While the story did jump several years into the future at the end to provide the reader some closure for all 3 women, I felt like it was too big a jump and too short. I would have preferred a little more detail personally. There’s also some foul language throughout the book that at times I didn’t feel was necessary. I wasn’t a fan of what happened to Jon at the end either...don’t want to give too much away, but I felt like more could have been done in regards to him and his “mistakes.”

Overall, a good, very quick read. It was somewhat predictable, but did provide a little
twist at the end. Thank you to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for an ARC of this book!

Thank you Netgalley and Lake Union publishing for this free read in exchange for a honest review.

On the outside Jessica, Lark, and Holly are three strangers without much in common. Except for the fact that they are all in love with the same man. Will the lies of the charming Mr. Wright catch up to him? Or will he continue to have an answer for everything and really is the man of their dreams?

This book was fun! I loved how it bounced back and forth between the three women’s storylines. The structure of the book kept me reading late into the night to find out what was going to happen next. I knew this story was bigger than just a serial cheater and it didn’t disappoint. 4/5 stars for this fast-paced drama! #netgalley #TheThreeMrsWrights
