Thank you to Netgalley for a pre publication copy. In return for an honest review! #meetmeinlondon #netgalley

DNF'd after 150 pages. During this time I felt like we were going round and round in circles with no further plot or character development. Disappointing because this book had potential

Loved this one, a great start to what I hope will be the start of a series?! Funny loveable, original. Romantic. I read it in just 2 sittings.

Oh how much I loved this one! Such a romantic story which also presents the reader with important topics such as infertility, disability, and infidelity. It's a great Christmas read and I enjoyed seeing how Oliver and Victoria fell in love. Can't wait to read more titles by the author!

This has been sitting on my Kindle for ages, it's another case of too many books and not enough reading time in the day, so when I finally came to read this charming story I felt like kicking myself that I hadn't read it earlier and so pleased that I finally read it. Meet Me in London is a charming, feel-good contemporary romance, with likeable and realistic characters who you become instantly invested in and a fun, sweetly romantic if predictable plot. A definite must-read and perfect for a lazy weekend, or summer beachy read.

A lovely escape from reality. Lovely characters and lots of smiles from this book.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC in return for an honest and unbiased opinion.

Meet me in London by Georgia Toffolo

Victoria’s Secret passion is designing vintage clothing that she wants to sell. Oliver is a successful business man who comes to the bar in Chelsea where Victoria works and he needs her help so makes her a proposition where they will both achieve what they want !

Great well written book a sheer pleasure .

Loved watching this story unfold and the twists along the way.

The two main characters are very likeable and you just want it to work.

The book covers some sensitive issue’s beautifully.

Lovely read and the fact this is set just around the festive season is just a bonus.

I will not be giving feedback on this book as I couldn’t really get into it but I think others may enjoy it.

I really enjoyed this story. It was well written with a well thought out story line and good character development. Nice settings and good chemistry. Perfect read for the long winter nights. Recommend
This was the audio version which was well read, clear and easy to listen to.

I've watched Toff for many years on Made In Chelsea, so was interested to see she had a book on Netgalley.

I hadn't read a romcom for so long, but this hook was so intriguing and easy to read.

It was a great down to earth girl meets rich boy in an understated way. I loved seeing Victoria and Olivers romance blossom and am interested to see what Toff's other books entail.

I don't think there is any way to describe this book other than cute.

Victoria is working in a bar in Chelsea whilst dreaming of opening her own shop which she spends her evenings designing clothes for.

Oliver's family is opening a new department store in London but things are not running smoothly in readiness for the opening. His mum is sticking her nose in where its not wanted and keeps asking to be introduced to his new girlfriend.
Except this girlfriend doesn't exist.

When Oliver and Victoria meet, it seems perfect that she pretend to be the girlfriend and in return, Victoria gets to show her designs.

But of course, such a business arrangement isn't going to be straightforward, is it.

Will this stay as a strict business arrangement or will feelings become involved?

This was a brilliant read and is being featured on my blog for my quick star reviews feature, which I have created on my blog so I can catch up with all the books I have read and therefore review.

Victoria dreams of having her wedding dress designs in a store like Russell & co, and works in a bar next to the store to make ends meet.

When she meets the owner by chance one evening she is shocked by his ‘proposal’ and day by day fiction turns into a reality.

A feel good romance with a ‘fake relationship’ trope.

Easy to read and nice characters but with not that much depth.

A good ending but one I could’ve guessed

A nice, lighthearted Christmassy love story with a little bit of humour.
I enjoyed this book, it was well written and easy to read with likeable characters and an interesting, busy setting.

A big thank you to Netgalley & Mills and Boon UK for allowing me to read Georgia Toffolo’s debut novel. After reading the description I just knew I would love this, I do enjoy a fake dating romance novel! Especially when your fake fiancé is bloody gorgeous as Oliver!

Im kicking myself that it’s been sat on my tbr pile for some time as this was such a fun read, a love story including special friendships, family, heartbreak and life changes.

I warmed to Victoria straight away, a clothes designer trying to make it big but with a new department store opening down the road her dreams seem to be getting further and further away. Then we have Oliver (swoon!) whose family owns the Russell & Co Department store, a company he is soon to take over but with an interfering mother in the background who means well and just wants to see her son settle down. With pressure building on him, Oliver comes up with a business plan that will help them both and the rest they say is history…

Of course nothing is smooth sailing, especially when you’re pretending to be engaged, all too soon the line becomes blurred.. so blurred you can’t even see it.. and feelings start to become too real!

Not only did I love Victoria and Oliver and their love story but I got so wrapped up in the other characters too. Oliver’s family and Victoria’s friends. The friendship circle that Victoria has was lovely to read about, although living very separate lives in different parts of the world they have a friendship that I hope we all experience. The saying ‘true friendships are never apart, maybe in distance but never in heart’ Victoria is lucky to have such close people to her that tell you how it is whether you want to hear it or not and who are there for you no matter what time of day or night it is!

Overall this was a fab read with a great balance of love, humour, friendships and made me feel all warm and fuzzy.. just what you need from a good book! I cannot wait to read the next two in the series and jet off to Hawaii and Tahiti!

Why oh why did it take me so long to pick this book off my shelves and start reading it?! If you’re in the same boat that I was then you really should start reading this because you won’t regret it. I’m just stoked that I’ve now got another 2 books in the series to get stuck into thanks to the wonderful team over at Mills & Boon and Netgalley.

Victoria is such a lovely character who has a talent for turning bits of fabric into gorgeous garments, but just needs that break for her to really see how good she is. Even though Oliver is a billionaire, he is also a really genuine and down to earth guy, the money doesn’t go to his head and despite liking him from the start of the book I liked him more and more as we progressed through.

There were a couple of characters that me and Laura were not fans of (I’ll keep their nicknames out of here though ) and I honestly wanted to punch them a few times. They were just out to cause trouble and this was at the back of my mind throughout as I was sure that they were going to blurt out Victoria’s secret just to ruin the blossoming relationship between her and Oliver.

Now although the storyline was pretty predictable and me and Laura both guessed where things were headed this didn’t spoil the book for me at all. I loved seeing how Victoria and Oliver grew with each other, how absolutely adorable (if a little pushy) his parents were and just how the story was going to pan out – we could have been wrong after all!

On to sunnier news though, how amazing were the Lost Hours group?! Well you won’t be able to answer that unless you’ve read the book… but these were the moments that I got really emotional. Near to the end of the book we see just how solid this foursome of Victoria, Lily, Zoe and Malie really is. They are there for each other no matter what and I think everyone needs friends like these guys! I cant wait to go on more adventures with the Lost Hours and see where we end up…

I don’t know about you but I’m packing my suitcase and heading off to Hawaii – care to join me over in book number 2?

I really loved this book. Though it is set at Christmas it is the perfect Summer read too. Very bright and breezy. I enjoyed the main characters love story and seeing them growing and learning about themselves as well as each other. A warm hug of a book and I will look forward to more from this author.
