This is such a cute little book.

The characters are so likeable. I love the friendship that Victoria has with her girls. They stuck together through the best and worst times

Really enjoyable read.

I enjoy a bit of escapism and #MeetMeInLondon didn’t disappoint!

I’m not a fan of Made In Chelsea (I watched the first episode and couldn’t get in to it) and I’ve never read a Mills & Boons book so I was a little wary about reading this debut. Luckily for me, fans of the show and non viewers alike can enjoy this frothy romance.

I felt for Victoria who had recently been rejected and betrayed by her ex after she confided in him about her infertility, and could see why she was guarded with Oliver. The premise of being a pretend fiancé was a little flimsy but that’s romantic stories for you, ha! I liked Victoria’s character & that her interests were fleshed out. Lovely beach read and I’ll be looking out for more by the author.

Thanks to #NetGalley and the publisher for my free advance copy in return for an unbiased review.

A lovely light read with engaging characters and storyline, alongside a Christmassy backdrop. I liked the writing style with varying perspectives between Victoria and Oliver.

4.5 stars
Really enjoyed this book. The chemistry was awesome between the protagonists, and I was rooting for them from the get-go. It's a very 'simple' story but done with lots of heart and warmth and thus very enjoyable.
The reason it's not getting 5 stars is the rushed ending - all that build up, and it seemed one of the major issues was not exactly addressed. Also too much emphasis on the group of friends - I figure it's going to be a series about them, each friend getting a book (and I am looking for those!), but it just felt like the focus shifted too much onto them at times, taking away from the romance
Still, I didn't want to let this one down once I started reading, which to me means there was that special magic that took me away and gave me a very good time/experience throughout.

I read this ages ago but seem to have forgotten to review.

Enjoyable story - two people who were initially set against each other and yet find their way to love. A sweet read set in magical London at Christmas

Meet me in London is a light frothy read, pure escapism! The characters are strong, believable and extremely well written. . This is a real feel good romance. Victoria and Oliver are fantastic characters and I enjoyed their story. The reader engages with this book and I really enjoyed Georgia’s writing style.

This book reads exactly like those Hallmark romantic movies I wouldn't watch at any other time of the year but suddenly love at Christmas.
It's pretty predictable but I had such a good time reading it. I liked the main character Victoria and there was a good supporting cast. Its not super festive so you could read this any time of the year. Hopefully Georgia writes another Christmassy romance in 2021.

Meet Me In London is a sweet romance with the trope of pretend relationship turned real. What starts as a matter of convenience, develops into chemistry and hope. There's very little original about this story, but that doesn't always matter. When it comes to romance, we want to be invested in two characters and their relationship, and that was true for me of Meet Me In London. The characters are well written, with the perfect amount of backstoryr. Their relationship was touching and believable.

There is a whole host of secondary characters - a few too many for my liking, but they're well written and I'd definitely be interested in the stories of Victoria's friends.

An easy to read, light romance that left me with a smile on my face, just the ticket for a down-day when I want a few hours of happy escapism.

I wasnt sure what to expect from this author but thought I would give it a go and pleased I did! Yes it is a typical boy meets girl, something goes wrong but it all works out in the end type story but it is fun, flirty and a very natural read. Yes it does feel a little immature, but this is a new writer and I think she can only go from strength to strength. I liked both main characters and was obviously rooting for them and they got there in the end! Would definitely try another book by this author in the future.

My thanks to netgalley for an arc of this book in return for my honest opinion.

A real surprise.
I’m not sure what I was expecting in a book by Georgia Toffolo, but she surpassed my expectations with this book,
Perhaps a little predictable (as can a lot of books in this genre, especially in the Mills & Boon style such as this), and taking on a very well-worn route from ‘fake-romance to real romance’ between the two main characters, it was still an enjoyable read.
Set in the run up to Christmas it gave it that little extra touch of magic, but it is a story that can be enjoyed whenever, not just reserved solely for the month of December.

This book is published by Mills and Boon and is clearly in the Romantic Fiction genre.

The story centres around Victoria Scott and Oliver Russell. She’s a budding fashion designer, working in a pub to make ends meet, he’s the heir to a department store empire. Naturally there is a little tension when they first meet, but that doesn’t stop Oliver asking Victoria to be his pretend fiancé for the sake of his sanity, as well as to keep his mum from constantly trying to meddle in his non-existent love life.

She agrees as Oliver has offered to showcase her fashion designs at the opening of his new store. Victoria does have some qualms about the store opening and she uses her influence to have Oliver invite the traders from the local area set up stalls in his store on opening day.

To convince Oliver’s parents that this relationship is real Oliver insists that they have dinner with his parents. This has Victoria worried, they are only a fake couple, is it fair to dupe his parents in this way? After meeting them, and hitting it off with them right away, Victoria is more concerned than ever that what they are dong isn’t right.

The lines between fake relationship and real feelings begin to blur, for both of them. But just as everything appears to be going in the right direction for them both, Victoria’s past rears its head, and Oliver’s cousin finds out her secret, threatens to expose her unless she leave Oliver. Believing she’s doing the right thing, Victoria calls off the arrangement and heads home to Devon.

Both Oliver and Victoria are miserable by Victoria’s decision, but will either of them push their pride aside and reach out to the other before it’s too late?

I did enjoy this book, I wasn’t sure if I would as I had read some negative reviews by people so wasn’t sure what to expect. The storyline is in keeping with the Mills and Boon remit, so if you love this publishers titles you won’t be disappointed.

The story is set in the run up to Christmas so it’s obviously an excellent choice to read at this time. I do feel that you could read this book at any time of the year though; it is part of a series by the same author so reading this at any time of the year would not feel out of place.

A lovely read. Enjoyed it very much.
