First of all this Is religious fiction because it has Claudia Pilates point of view. It takes time during Jesus performing miracles to running into Roman trouble.

Favonius a respected Roman soldier is accused of being a believer in what the romans called Jewish god. He disagreed with the philosophy of worshipping false idols. His point of view is one of fighting religious tolerance because he believes Jesus is like a God.

Then you have Claudia Pilate who of course predicted Her husband trying Jesus.

Veranious another Roman soldiers point of view pretty high up. You even get Pointus Pilates point of view I’m so happy about that.

The indenting debate about divinity of a human being from person to god/goddess. Which is cultures is often god worshipping. Jewish it’s worshipping false idols. The idea one god over the perfect gods or goddesses.

This Arc was given to me by netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I was really hoping this book would be an alternative history tale that would make me question theology and secularism, sadly it didn't, it's not a bad read but I was not I overly engaged by the telling of this story and felt quite deflated at the end
