Beautiful romance novel with heartfelt moments to give you all the feels. The story is full of heartbreak.
A lesson in love and life that gives one hope things can get better and will get better if we believe it can.
A fabulous book that pulls at your heart, really tugs at it. It breaks it, heals it and teaches us how keep living even when you think you just can't continue.
Each character will weave their way into your heart... settle in and stay there for a long while. I welcomed them and made them comfortable. This book will forever stay with me and hopefully you too. It's worth all the feels to get through the story and experience it.
A huge thank you to NetGalley, Susan Sallis and Transworld Publishers for providing me with an eARC of this publication which allows me to provide you with an unbiased review.
This was such a beautiful story full of heartbreak, but also full of hope.
The characters are brought to life vividly and you feel a connection to them immediately.
The storyline was lovely and had me hooked right to the end.
A lovely story that was full of heartbreak and hope.
The characters were strong and they gelled really well together.
The story twisted and turned between families and friends and was really well interwoven.
The story was really well written and it flowed really well making it an additive read!
It is 5 stars from me for this one - very highly recommended!
The book was ok. It felt very repetitive and very childish with the characters. Not one of them had anything good happen to them in the book and it felt forced in many ways. There was this constant pull of I'm not good enough for anyone else but then turn around everyone else is good for everyone else and I just suck type of feel. I think the author really had a great premise, just didn't execute it to the way I would have like to have seen it go. I did like the fact that I was shown and not told everything. I could see the water, I could see the way the house was set up, everything that way was fabulous it was just the characters and their dialouge.
Helen has been left in a wheelchair after an horrific car crash which left her parents and fiancee dead. She then finds out her fiancee was not who he seemed to be and then she starts receiving mystery bouquets of flowers from a stranger who comes to the hospital but doesn't actually visit her. There are plenty of twists and turns
After heartbreak, loss & having to adjust to a new way of life, this tale takes you on an emotional journey. Another success from Susan Sallis
This is a new to me author and I wasn't sure what to expect. This book is wonderful! It is well written and full of emotions. I really enjoyed reading this book. Thank you Random House UK, Transworld Publishers via NetGalley for the complimentary copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.
Stunning character development. Helen suffers tragedy that changes the course of her life forever. The book explores relationships born out of tragedy and how even the smallest choices can have the biggest impact.
I love the complexity of the characters. You won't find flawless people here. What you find instead are people and relationships full of natural insecurities, jealousy, guilt, and a capacity for strength they didn't know they had. Highly recommend. This is the first book I've read by Susan Sallis, but it won't be my last.
Thanks Netgalley and the Publisher. I read this book many many years ago as I love everything this author has written. I had forgotten how much I had enjoyed the story and the characters. Great read
Choices is very well written. A story of loss and starting over. A new author to me and I will be reading more of her books. I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and this is my unbiased review.
Really good read. Would recommend to friends and family. I could sympathise with characters (important for any fiction novel!) and looked forward to picking it up and reading the next few chapters! Interesting plot line and a good ending. Will look out for more novels by the author. Thank you.
With thanks to netgalley for an early copy in return for an honest review
