I was really looking forward to listening to this audiobook. The blurb sounded promising. And the narrator has a very pleasant, soothing voice.
Unfortunately, the Netgalley App isn't quite efficient yet. First, the TOC didn't show the list of chapters using numbers, it displayed only the book title which is completely useless to locate yourself in the book.
Also, the bookmark feature doesn't work quite right, because as you add them along the way, the bookmark page doesn't scroll, so you cannot access your latest bookmark when the list gets quite long.
All in all, I just couldn't navigate smoothly and it kind of killed the experience for me. I'm hoping these will be addressed and maybe, I'll be able to finish this audiobook.

I read Lia’s first novel three times and loved it so much so had very high hopes for this one. I absolutely adored it! It’s cute, sweet, funny and heartwarming. This will be one I read again and again. One of my top recommended books for the summer for sure.

Katy Sobey is a fantastic narrator of audiobooks, one of my favourites in fact. She encapsulates Emmie's heartbreak at Lucas' news at the beginning of the novel and the beauty of Emmie's friendships. It's a gorgeous story of love and friendship.
