Great second chance romance with intrigue and mystery as Reine runs into her old flame, Cash. He has become dedicated to bringing down his biological dad for not acknowledging him. His resentment also extended to his old friend and half brother, Gray, as well as his old girlfriend, Reine.

Gray is kidnapped and everyone assumes that Gray does this in his part to get revenge against his father but Reine keeps investigating to find out who would kidnap Gray.

Lots of twists and turns in this book that keep you guessing until the very end! Cash eventually gets more human and less of a jerk as the book progresses. Great ending and a HEA!

Family drama has a way of sucking you in sometimes if the story is good enough. This author spins one like that so that quickly you are embroiled into the drama of this one. Cash also steals your heart while this goes on but he also wants Reine's heart too. Funny how when some in the family want nothing from ya when something happens someone usually comes running. But in this case he also happens to be a friend so what can you do but help. The characters in this weave a good one that meshes with romance and suspense one that will keep the pages turning until the ending comes along.

Justice by Patricia Rosemoor is a rerelease of a book originally published as Cowboy Justice. As often happens, Jaspar Matlock sleeps with a local indio beauty and gets her pregnant. Along comes a better catch: one with land and so he convinces his foreman to marry the pregnant beauty and claim her child as his own. Turns out, the foreman, Zane Areau, loved his wife and his son and they had a great life...until Clay was about 18 and his father died and left him a letter explaining his origins. At the funeral, no less, Clay has a fit and threatens his birth father and runs off, sadly leaving his best friend and his best girl. He has worked hard and now, years later, has become a wealthy, cynical man still filled with hate, until his younger half brother/best friend is kidnapped. Then all the hurt and bitterness aises to the surface where it has to be dealt with.

This is Rosemoor at her best: an adventure with some romance or a romance with some adventure. Who knows? Clay and his birth father, Jaspar Matlock are cut from the same cloth. Both excellent characters: strong and loyal. The plot is a little far-fetched but entertaining and things move quickly exposing many emotions and secrets. There is a lot of subtle emotion and at least one unfinished subplot but all in all it is an entertaining and moving read about a bunch of people who grow up in a few short hours. I recommend it.

Justice by Patricia Rosemoor is a family drama, heart-breaking deception and young love that never died. Three friends’ lives were entwined in more ways that they would ever know, until many years had passed, and danger came calling, and old wounds were flayed open. Greyson, Reine and Cash will be thrown back together under less than ideal circumstances, but will Cash let his need for vengeance ruined his second chance with the woman who owns his heart? I thoroughly enjoyed this intense and passionate story and have become a huge fan of Ms Rosemoor’s writing and her captivating stories.
