Started this morning and fell in love quickly!

KT is a no nonsense boat mechanic who doesn’t need romance or a man. Ben is a widower with three daughters but when worlds collide the two can’t keep away from each other.

A journey of vulnerability and self discovery!

A really fun read that makes me want to sail away with my family. I like to pretend that I’m adventurous but I’m really not. This book was a good way for me to imagine “what if”?
I really liked KT quite a bit. Ben was a bit harder to like but, tbh, I’m a mother of two and the fact that he alone is raising 3 kids was enough for me to at least respect him.
Would definitely recommend for someone looking for an easy, fluffy read!

This is actually book 2 in a series. I haven't read book 1 but I still understand it. This book got a lot of drama, angst and heartache. I like both of the characters and the journey that they had to go through. I like how the hero cares enough about the heroine to make such a great sacrifice for her. Great book!

Welcome back to Wildfire Lake! After finishing the first book I wasn't sure the author would be able to top it. Boy was I wrong. I may like this one better.

The beginning of this one starts out much like the first, but from KT's perspective. It really does a lot to help the reader understand her a little better so, even though I wasn't a huge fan of the beginning in book one, it was definitely something I appreciated in this one.

I loved KT. She's strong, independent, knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it. She works an unconventional job and lives an unconventional life. I felt like at times that made her selfish but I realized quickly that it was almost a way for her to hide from the real world. Until Dr. Delicious. I loved how Ben allowed her to be exactly who she is. He clearly wanted KT but not at the expense of her giving up on her dreams and taking away the person that she wanted to be.
Steamy and sweet, I thought this was a great addition to the series. The epilogue was probably my favorite part and really pulled at my heartstrings. I can't wait to see what we get from Chloe.

The first 80% was perfect. Witty banter, hot chemistry, and great assembly of characters. I was really enjoying myself until we hit the last four fifths of the book. That’s when shit went from 0 to 100 real quick.

There was a shitload of problems I won't further indulge in but there were two things that had irked my soul and pretty much ruined my near perfect reading experience.

First our home girl KT who I absolutely absolutely loved (at the beginning) was making all these plans to spend time with Ben and his daughters during school holidays to better built the relationship and damn near admitting she had feelings for him, did not nor would have seen their relationship as exclusive and getting all pissy when called out on her bullshit. Plus she had the audacity to say it's not an issue at that time since she didn't plan on sailing until a few months out had me grinding my teeth in frustration. Like girl, say what now? You claimed that you don't have any desire to see anyone else and that you don't sleep around which pretty much contradicts everything that was said from the get-go. So you're just gonna hoe it up in your spare time while sailing the seas while Ben stays put and is expected to remain faithful? Yeah no I wasn't feeling that. Sure I understand her ideals due to her upbringing but bitch please. You're an adult and it's common fucking sense

Second pet peeve. Kat and Ben literally knew each for barely one month before he decided to reroute his entire life *cue the eyeroll* by moving his family (himself and three young daughters under the age of fourteen) from a thirty-eight-hundred-square-foot house with a yard and a pool to a five-hundred-square-foot boat to be with her after experiencing the instant love feels. What the actual fuck? No. No. No! Who the fuck does that? It makes absolutely no sense. It's mind-boggling that he would come to that decision after barely knowing her for one month. Let me say that again. One month. It was too unrealistic for my taste and it just didn’t sit right with me. In all honestly if it was just him I would have given him some leeway but he decided to bring along his daughters. I just fucking can’t.

I'm seriously just blown away by the strong start of this novel to then see it diminish in an instant. Ugh. This could've been a four star read if everything after the 80% mark didn't happen. I'm utterly saddened this took a turn for the worse but as the saying goes, you win some you lose some.

The was the sequel to In Too Deep. Not to worry this can be read as a stand-alone. This was a fast and short read for me. I loved KT from the previous book but wasn’t too thrilled with her in this one. She meets a doctor, Ben, who has three daughters. The romance was cute but the epilogue didn’t work for me. I think I loved the first one so much, highly recommend others to read that one, that this one fizzled out for me. I am looking forward to the next book.
I received the ARC from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review and opinion.

Loved this story so much! Skye is an amazing storyteller and this book has all the feels! We met KT in book one and knew she was going to be oh so sassy! Her and Ben are perfect together and I love their happy ending:). I can’t wait for Chloe’s story ❤️

Going Under has much to offer. Hidden inside the slow burn of a beautiful romance are many important life lessons. Lessons of love. Lessons of loss. Lessons of hope. Jordan has a way of removing the blinders that tend to get in the way of the more important things. Ben and KT are a reminder that a person is stronger than ever they realize. With laughter, patience and an open heart, we can accomplish anything. All we need is a chance to try. Going Under is a life lesson worth learning.

Skye Jordan is a masterful storyteller, writing about female characters that you can relate too. Her second book in her Wildfire Lake series follows a strong hero with an even stronger heroine. It delves into dreams and priorities and how combining both can bring happily ever after. You will fall in love with the secondary characters that provide the backdrop to all that’s important: family, love, friendship. You won’t want to put it down.

Skye Jordan brings us to Wildfire Lake in central California where three friends are reunited seven and a half years after going through a harrowing experience in the South Pacific waters at a spiritual retreat. We meet KT, a marine engineer who travels through life on her houseboat going from one adventure to the next. Chloe, Laiyla, and KT are all invested in building a marina there. While Chloe and Laiyla are more settled with life there, KT is looking for a good time until the waves beckon her again. She sees a good time when she ends up in the ER and finds the good looking doctor stitching up her arm. Ben has moved with his three girls to be closer to his mom and sister. He finds KT intriguing instantly. As they get closer together, they each must figure out what is important and how to maneuver between what they each want out of life.

Skye Jordan brings us a story filled with family and love. Will KT and Ben be able to get past their personal hurdles to make a life together, or will their individuality be what drives them apart? Skye brings us along as Ben and KT learn more about each other and the importance of love and family.

I have enjoyed KT and Ben's story. I look forward to the next adventure with Skye Jordan. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Cygnet Books for this privilege.

Great book! I didn’t realize that it was book two in a series but it can be read stand alone . However it was so good I went a read the book 1 too. Now I can’t wait to see what happens in next book.

Love the characters. The writing style keeps you captivated and invested in the characters. This author is now a one click purchase for me for all future books.

This was a decent light read. Very predictable with a clear path to the happy ending most romance readers expect. It was good to see a strong female character. Why is it that the people in these books always have no ,money troubles to get in the way of doing whatever they want to do? Not the least bit realistic but good fun.

Great second book which lots of angst and HOT sex. This book picks up at the end of the first book, but it is a stand alone so no worries if you didn't read the first one.

Ben and KT had lots of waves, mostly of their own making, to get over. Yes, we find out what her initials stand for, and it's really not the bad. Loved his kids, they were great. Beautiful epilogue.

Now I can't wait to see if Chloe hooks up with her hot cop or someone else.

I really enjoyed that the female lead was strong, confident, and working in a primarily male-dominated field. The ending wasn't the typical one I was expecting. Bravo in making an awesome female character!

I've been waiting for this book! Although it seems much different from the first book to me, which the first book was my favorite book yet this year! This book was good but not as good as the first for me! But that's not saying much because I loved the first! This book was really really good just not as good as the first ! Don't get me wrong this book is so worth reading!! It was very good! It was hot, the storyline flowed smoothly and had some heartache and heartbreak! Not much suspense or action but just a great little light read! Definitely don't miss out on this book and series! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
