Gosh these Wilde agents and their love stories!!!! I can never get tired of reading Cynthia Eden and her witty and sexy characters. Gorgeous scientist meets sexy agent igniting sparks that defies science. But then as secrets come out and danger rears its ugly head, they have to fight to make a future.

Another great read!!

I really enjoy this series...and loved this book..kept me on the edge of my seat. There was intrigue, some lies, some twists, some deception, lots of great interaction with Chase and Vivian...lots of steam and love all leading to a HEA. Can't wait for the next book

This is Ms. Eden’s 9th book in her Wilde Ways series and I must say that I really love this series. In this book, We have Chase Durant who has cracked me up in previous books, going under cover. His mission is to get in with Vivian Wayne, a woman who contracts for the CIA and who is possibly selling undercover agents’ identities on the black market. Chase finds undercover work to be easy, but when it comes to Vivian, nothing is easy.

Vivian is a sweet and innocent woman. Emphasis on the innocent. Her father and subsequent step-father were both pretty bad guys, and once she knew the truth, Vivian vowed to always stay on the up and up. She knows it’s looking bad, she knows something is going down, but she doesn’t know who to trust. Yet for some reason, she trusts her new neighbor Chase. He caught someone trying to break in to her apartment, and he makes her feel safe. He also makes her feel sexy.

For someone who doesn’t trust easily, she really trusts Chase. Until she found out Chase had been lying to her. Dex does, well, he does something for the CIA but no one really knows what. And he’s the reason Wilde Security was hired to find out if Vivian was selling secrets or not. Dex is an ass. He has been in previous books, and he is even more so now. I’m really curious to see how he holds up an entire book when I get to his, but if anyone can make me like him, it’s Ms. Eden. He basically spills all the beans to Vivian so Chase looks bad…but she realizes that Chase is more than an undercover agent, he’s still that man she can trust. And the two of them step into a dangerous game of survival the second they leave the building.

I loved how Chase was able to become a growly alpha in love, but able to retain his sense of humor. I’ve noticed when her men fall, they fall hard, and sometimes they get so serious and intense that they lose that sense of humor they had in previous books.

I liked this one, and I enjoyed the plot twist, that I didn’t see coming. That’s one of my favorite things about this author; she has the ability to make each book feel fresh yet still keep the aspects I like about her style and voice. I keep coming back to Cynthia Eden as my go-to Romantic Suspense author.

Another incredible story in the fantastic world that Ms. Eden has built that I can’t wait to go back to again and again. With each new book this series gets better and better, you have everything you need - well developed characters, fast paced drama, action, humour and romance. I have got to say this one delighted on all fronts, it's wonderfully crafted characters took me on a journey that was not only enthralling, but it also squeezed my heart in all the right places! I completely devoured this book! From the moment I picked it up, I was completely hooked! I always look forward to reading a Wilde Ways book and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one. Chase After Me by Cynthia Eden is book 9 in the Wilde Ways Series. This is the story of Chase Duran and Vivian Wayne. I have read the previous books, which did and to my enjoyment of this one but I do feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Chase is on an undercover assignment for Wilde Security, that has him spying on Vivian who is suspected of removing confidential information and selling it. Vivian is a scientist who is smart, beautiful and has some funny characteristics, but what she isn't is a theft. Which doesn't take Chase to long to start seeing that he has been sent to set up Vivian. Now he has to protect her and come clean about who he is. I am such a fan of this author's writing. I highly recommend her books.

I am obsessed with this series! We met Chase in the previous book and I was so excited to get my hands on his story. I loved Chase and I loved Vivian. I couldn't put this book down! There was one twist I did not see coming and it made the story that much better. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

What happens when the sexy new neighbor turns out to be your worst nightmare or your greatest fantasy? Vivian is being framed or is she? Chase is the agent assigned to prove that she did the deed! Vivian is supposedly a CIA traitor, and Chase is hired to watch and catch her. She is innocent, and the sparks fly. Question is, who is the traitor??? Another great story dealing with the Wilde team, and one that was hard to put down. Highly recommend this book, series and author, and look forward to the next in the series. Dex is one of those guys you love to hate, so will be fun to see him fall in love.

I received an advanced reader copy to leave an honest review of this book. This is the book 9 of the Wilde Ways series but can be read as a stand alone. I am a big fan of Cynthia Eden's writing and have read many of her other series also. She has a great writing style, keeps the reader engaged, and adds a some humor but also intrigue to her novels.

This book follows Vivian, a computer guru consulting for the CIA, and Chase, an operative at Wilde Securities. Chase's job is to go undercover to gain Vivian's trust and find out who she is selling intel too. From the get go, Vivian is not what he expects and he quickly realizes that she may not actually be the perpetrator but in fact may be the victim. After a couple of near misses on Vivian, Chase is more than convinced she's innocent and will do anything to protect. Vivian quickly realizes she needs Chase's help but then she finds out he has been lying to her; this is a big issue for her. To save her life though, can she continue to trust him?

Overall I think this may be my favorite book of the series so far. Love the humor, love the characters and love the plot line. Eden does a great job with the book. Would definitely recommend.

This one was cute and had some surprises along the way. Chase and Vivian were good together and I liked the emotional tension they had to work through when the truth comes out, it added to the drama and romance of the storyline. Vivian is a cute, shy computer nerd type and Chase is a bad-ass undercover mission expert who thinks she is innocent from the moment he meets her, but has to prove it the bosses and the CIA before she is either killed or arrested by the real bad guys. Overall, I enjoyed this one, but I have to say I am looking forward to the one with Dex, he was an interesting character in this one and he needs to be taken down a few notches and I look forward to reading his book.

The chemistry between Chase and Vivian is off the charts! It's fun, sexy, smoldering and so much more. Things start with Vivian being Chase's mission, but there is a lot going on here. Not all is as it seems. There's suspense, action, betrayal, lies, secrets, and more. This series always delivers. Great romantic suspense read!

CHASE AFTER ME is the ninth book in Cynthia Eden’s “Wilde Ways” romantic suspense series. Chase Durant is a Wilde security agent and excels at working undercover. When Wilde is hired to get close to Vivian Wayne and get the goods on the CIA Digital Forensic Engineer, Chase figures the job will be child’s play. While Chase may be a smooth-talking dude, he his flummoxed by Vivian. For me, Vivian is a modern version of the classic brainy Amanda Quick heroine. Vivian is franker than most women, and most targets he encounters with things to hide, than he’s used to. Fabulous.

Vivian Wayne works in a job in which she is used to problem solving and evaluating probabilities. When Chase moves in next to her, he seems like an attractive problem to be solved, and he seems like a complication that she doesn’t need in her already complicated life. Because of all the deceptions involved, I’m glad that Cynthia Eden tells CHASE AFTER ME from alternating perspectives. Chase is thrown quite a few curveballs in this book and has him scratching his head at times. He is supposed to low level spook Vivian to get her to turn to her for help, thus making it easier for him to find out her deepest darkest secrets. The snag comes when she seems to be targeted by somebody else. Having been lied to on a colossal level in her past, deception is a huge issue for Vivian. Thankfully, when she learns of Chase’s deception, she is more pragmatic and goes with her gut. Like one of those Amanda Quick bluestocking heroines, Vivian proves to be braver than she’d think she could be, and resourceful when it counts.

CHASE AFTER ME is a thrilling book of sex, lies, and a huge leap of faith for love. CIA agent Dexter Dex Ryan makes another key appearance in this story, and I find him just as obnoxious as he was in NEVER GONNA HAPPEN. Happily, he’s knocked around a little. I hope that in his story the heroine doesn’t make things too easy for him. He deserves to suffer a little. I loved seeing Detective Layla Lopez in this story and sincerely hope she gets a book of her own. I eagerly await Cynthia Eden’s next book.

Secrets....

First secret....I love Chase and Vivian’s story. It is full of drama, humor and heart! Second secret....Ms. Eden continues to create genuine characters and intriguing plots.

The Wilde Ways Series is as hot as ever with the ninth book, Chase After Me by Cynthia Eden. This book has a man on a mission, a smart woman and one convincing organization. Thankfully, the agenda driven mission is seen as it really is.

Chase Durant’s suave charming James Bond personality is the perfect counterpart to the scientific minded, intelligent, sweet, beautiful Vivian Wayne. This addition to the series has all the passion of the previous books but is the funniest, with several laugh out loud scenes. Of course, Chase hasn’t been honest from the beginning so some groveling is needed to win over the one who turns out to be his one true love.

This is just the kind of story we all need right now; an enemy that can be stopped, a man who will right his wrong, a woman smart enough to believe in him by the end and a few laughs along with the danger.

Once again Ms Eden has wowed me. I loved from the first word to the last! Please please, I need Merik’s book!

Four and a half
So it's was finally time for uber confident Chase to fall and boy does he fall hard. He's on a mission undercover to get close to a woman who has stolen CIA secrets that could get many killed but Vivian isn't at all what Chase expected. Vivian is sweet and yet sharp, prickly and yet warm and did I mention she's a very talented hacker ? Yes Vivian is so bright you could probably see her from space but the question is what will Chase do when he starts to doubt that she really is a traitor ?
For all his bravado and cocky ways Chase really is very protective and Vivian pushes all his buttons here so be prepared for a very jealous, gung ho hero because I don't think Chase knows how to back down. I really liked the way Vivian could turn on a dime from gentle almost hesitate to this clever, brave woman. Yes if Chase is the brawn then Vivian is most assuredly the brain of their relationship and I found that strangely satisfying. The synopsis tells you it's a happy ending so I won't go into details but there are perhaps one or two red herrings to keep you guessing who Vivian needs to be wary of with action thrown in to keep you on the edge of your seat. Yes its a hot and heavy romance but Chase is a man who likes to savour whether it be Vivian or even a plate of chocolate brownies ! Plenty of clues about who the next book is about but I spotted someone else who was introduced here and I know the author has a habit of going back and bringing them to life in subsequent stories so I will be watching closely to discover if I'm right. A fun, satisfying read about two characters who have struggled to overcome their pasts and I'm happy to say they find a love that many can only dream of.

Every book in this series just gets better than the last!!
Vivian is quirky, shy and does not trust easily. I love how she just starts sprouting off random facts when she’s nervous and she’s super smart.
Chase is sent undercover to catch her red handed stealing government secrets. As soon as he meets her he starts having doubts about her guilt.
The combination of humor, suspense, hotness and great story line make this the perfect Summer Read.
I love all the crossover’s from other series. There is lots of banter between characters. Chase is super alpha and protective. Lots of suspense with a OMG twist I didn’t see coming.Smoking hot as always.
I can’t get enough of this series and the next book is something I did see coming and I’m so ready!

Another great addition in the stories of Wylde Security This time we get Chase Durant's story he is sent in undercover to try to get information from Vivian Wayne she is a worker in the computer department of the CIA and it is believed she has stolen information about under cover agents and sold it He rents a flat near her to make the connection and from the word go things don't ring true He soon realises that Vivian is been set up someone wants her dead and are using Wylde to do it. Now all he wants to do is keep her safe for the rest of her life but he has lied to her Will she forgive him and can they have a future together You will have to read to see

This is another great fun read in this great series all of the books can be read as stand alone but do yourself a favour and read them all they are the perfect mix of suspense and drama and super hot romance.

After reading Never Gonna Happen by this author, I made a pledge to start reading all the books in the Wilde series because I loved it so much. Well, Chase After Me became available thanks to NetGalley so I just had to read it first. Even though I haven’t read the other books in the series, I was able to follow along and enjoyed it thoroughly. I believe each book is a standalone, but I definitely intend to read the other ones immediately! I love everything about this authors writing. Chase is an ex Seal and a Wilde agent and Vivian has a few secrets he’s attempting to uncover. I loved these characters and their instant connection. Again, the suspense, the storyline and the explosive chemistry between Chase & Vivian made this another winner for me. The character development of the secondary characters is excellent and makes for a very enjoyable read. I can’t wait to read Dex’s story next! I have a feeling it is going to be stellar! ;).
