Another one bites the dust and boy did Chloe give Brandon a run for his money. Chloe is a perfectionist after dealing with her parents perfection all her life and the fact they wanted part of her business. Brandon is helping with his uncles vision of a new veterans centre, his uncle being the great Joseph Anderson. Love reading about Joseph and boy I can't wait for the next book. With Hudson, one of two brothers who are still single and buy what was Damien going on about. Love reading there Anderson books and can't wait for more.
I love this series so much and Brandon might be my new favorite brother. I love Melody Anne's writing style and flew through this book. I whole-heartedly recommend this book and series!
Brandon and Chloe had a one-night affair at his brothers’ wedding. When he awoke in the morning she was gone. He thought he would be okay and maybe he was for he realized that he wanted to be with her. Now months later and agreeing to work on the veteran center in town that his uncle is building, Chloe will be working with him for she is designing the kitchen.
Chole does not do relationships. Though she comes from parents who are still married and successful in the food industry, she has gone out on her own with her own restaurant. She feels that when she is with someone the feeling goes away after a few weeks or a couple of months and then what are you left with? For her one-night stand is okay when it feels right with the person. Her problem now is not only is Brandon in her restaurant but he also bought a home, a mansion. Not understanding the feelings and emotions that she has she continues to push him away. Here though Brandon takes his time working at showing her that not only is he ready to settle down but she is the one for him.
A really good story that takes you through both of the characters and most of her fears. You also get a look at her parents and her friends but throughout the whole time, no one is pressuring her though you the reader has a good idea where you will end up at the end the author still makes it worth the read and gives you an excellent story with really good characters.
Brandon and Chloe's love story isn't an easy one. He's been a playboy. She's a perfectionist hell bent on not falling in love. With their family and friends rooting for the two, they must come together to help with Joseph's vision for the Veterans center. The center really doesn't play as much of a role in this one. This is a relationship a few years in the making. Its sweet and sexy. There's a couple of tense moments that had me holding my breath. Once again Melody Anne takes us back to the family we have grown to love and gives us a romance worth rooting for. I'm REALLY anxious for the remaining two brothers stories. Especially Crew. Joseph has his work cut out for him.
I just love Brandon and Chloe. This is a beautifully written book about finding happiness, falling in love, learning to trust and believing happily ever after. Can Brandon and Chloe get the love and happiness they both deserve. Grab this beautiful read and follow along..
I have loved the entire “Anderson family” world from the beginning, many loves and stories ago, so it should surprise no one that I adored Brandon and Chloe’s hard-fought-for happy ending without a doubt.
As the third title in the Anderson Billionaires series, Brandon brings us a couple who once had one night together years ago and moved on. Brandon’s work on the veterans center will bring him back in contact with a woman he’s realizing he never should have let go… now to convince Chloe of that fact.
This former Air Force pilot, definitely former playboy has matured in the years since last seeing Chloe, recently he’s wondering what he’s missing as he watches his brothers fall in love and start a different future as part of a couple. Thanks to the meddling of one particular uncle Chloe and Brandon will be working together, the rest is up to fate or Brandon… or maybe Uncle Joe if these two can’t get the message.
Chloe is a perfectionist who has no time or interest in romance for it always ends messy and badly so she’d rather forget the whole thing. Unfortunately, she’s been hired to create the new kitchen for the veterans center which means coming in contact with and working closely next to a man she never forgot – hard as she tried. Brandon may have changed his spots but she’s not buying it for a minute… but tell that to her heart that wants to believe.
Brandon’s slow, methodical ‘working his way under her skin’ approach really was the only one that would work with Chloe. He shows her in actions as well as words that he’s in this for the long haul, and that they are right for each other. There were moments when I really wanted to sit Chloe down for a stern, loving conversation but her friends did that for me. It will take a while to convince this stubborn woman where her heart, her future lies but once that light bulb goes off she’s never going to look back.
I had such fun back in this particular Anderson world again. If you’re in the mood for a really good romance, one that doesn’t come easy but is worth all the hard work then Brandon should be on your “need to read” list.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher, Montlake via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
BRANDON by Melody Anne. This tale encompasses what is truly important in life - family and friends. That is the main theme and, for Brandon and Chloe, they understand the importance. I liked both characters - Chloe, independent yet a bit vulnerable, is sweet and dedicated. Brandon, both sexy and sweet, still feels a bit uncertainty when it comes to his new financial situation. I adored Joseph - the patriarch of the family and a meddling one at that. Ms. Anne writes fluidly and is able to inject enough back story from previous books without it overtaking the story. I have not read the previous books yet was able to follow along and never felt lost. Ono that note, I plan to check the earlier ones out as I did enjoy this book. (received ARC for honest review)

This may be the third in the series, but any fan will know that there is a big collection of books with the similar premise – interfering and matchmaking older generation... and they are very good at it! Even knowing that it is not really a secret, it is great fun watching the lengths that will be taken to ensure that the pairing really does work. It is really very amusing, even if one has to agree with the 'victims' sometimes that they aren't that keen on being manipulated in their romances.
Brandon has two brothers who have already caught the love bug, so he is even more on guard and disinterested than them, but of course, that does not mean that he will be tested in his resolve to remain single! He is very happy to be involved in the new building project as he knows how valuable the centre will be for ex-servicemen. His time in the Air Force has given him a good insight into that. But having to work with Chloe on the kitchen design is challenging, to say the least.
Chloe is very close friends with Brooke and Sarah, who are now in romances with Brandon's brothers, so it is inevitable that the six of them will spend time together. But Chloe is not interested in a relationship, even if the one night they did spend together was spectacular. She would rather the memory than get involved and get hurt. As Brandon gets up the courage to acknowledge his feelings, now the challenge is to make Chloe see how it could be too.
I love all these books and find them to be perfect escapism – I am back in a world full of characters I know well, and I love catching up with them and seeing who is next in line... and we get a strong hint as to who will be next too!

Brandon's time in the military did not prepare him at all for his uncle's meddling ways. Sure, he's grateful for the money that his uncle, Joseph Anderson, has given him as part of the legacy of the family he never knew. What he didn't expect was his uncle's penchant for matchmaking.
Chloe Hitman has been in the restaurant business in some form or fashion all her life. Her mother is a food critic and her father a well-renowned chef. She knows that her choice of careers is a disappointment to her parents – running a cafe in small town – but it's exactly where she wants to be. She wants to be part of something, part of the fabric of this community. She also knows to watch out for Joseph Anderson and his matchmaking. It's not that she's adverse to love, she just doesn't have time for it and to make her restaurant a success.
Joseph Anderson plays the long game and slowly moves the pieces in where he wants them and let's nature take its course. So he's not surprised to find that Brandon is not only attracted to Chloe, he's doing his best to crack through those walls. Chloe, on the other hand, is not looking for love and is doing her best to make her interest in Brandon seem casual.
A very good book and worth the afternoon spent ignoring housework.

M/F Romance
I was so looking forward to this story. Brandon and Chloe hooked up after a wedding, but then realized that they probably were just hooking up to hook up. However, once Brandon realizes that he truly wants to see where things might go with Chloe, he's hard pressed to back down.
Chloe is a successful business owner and chef. However, she has always been compared to her father, the famous chef, and the harsh food critic, her mother. She has always felt that she didn't truly ever live up to her potential and even with the success of her place, she still feels like she has to defend it when her mom comes to town.
Brandon and Chloe are tasked with helping get a veteran's center up and running. Each have their own talents and bring those to the table. I think where I got lost in this story is that there was a lot of repetitiveness from previous stories.
Brandon and Chloe could have had an amazing story but they almost get lost in the histrionics of the previous books. I wish that the book focused more on them rather than other characters. Also, Brandon, to me, was stalkerish and pushy. I didn't really get the chemistry between the two main characters much.
While this had a lot of potential for me, it just didn't really live up to what I was expecting. It is a quick read, so you'll finish with relative ease; however, if you're expecting an epic love story, you'll be disappointed.
Brandon has left his military career in the past and is now an electrician who owns his own company. After a childhood where he struggled financially, he and his brothers have recently become billionaires and been reunited with the family they didn’t know. When he and Chloe spent one night together he thought it was beginning however she thought it was the end and now he is determined to show her that the only woman he wants in his life is her.
Chloe was raised by two very demanding and successful parents and she has worked hard to ensure that her restaurant is a success as she doesn’t disappoint them or herself. She may be attracted to Brandon but doesn’t believe she has the time or energy for a relationship. Thanks to his matchmaking uncle they find themselves working on the veterans center together and with the support of those who love them it may just convince Chloe to take a chance on love and the future they could have together.
Brandon is so patient and understanding as he waits for Chloe to realize what he already knows which is that they belong together and while Chloe was a little slower to open her heart and her life to Brandon once she did she was all in.
Really loved this reluctant to fall but can't seam to help-themselves anyway fun couple that does not want to be a couple. This emotional journey is filled with witty and engaging charters, heart racing twists and thrilling passion. Was a highly entertaining adventure.

Oh she’s stubborn and he is determined!!! Will they both win?
Let me start off by saying I’m huge Melody Anne fan. I’m also a huge fan of the Anderson clan. Although this book had a very slow start it had a fantastic finish. The author writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shockingly intimate I have become a huge fan of this author. The author writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.
Authors Blurb: Air force pilot turned electrician Brandon Anderson never thought he’d have money or security, so the inheritance he and his brothers receive from his billionaire uncle seems too good to be true. Brandon can’t help but wonder if there are strings attached. After all, his uncle loves to meddle…
Working alongside his brothers to build a new veterans center, Brandon just wants to get the job done. That all changes when his uncle asks Chloe—the beautiful and confident daughter of a famous chef and food critic—to design the center’s kitchen. Brandon and Chloe have a steamy chemistry, but he struggles with allowing himself happiness, and Chloe is a perfectionist determined never to be in a long-term relationship. Now Brandon has to convince her to finish this job with him.
Brandon and Chloe are used to putting work first, but as they grow closer, they’ll learn that even a real-life love story can have a fairy-tale ending.
This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.
Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕
Another win from melody anne! Just when you think I love Finn, Noah comes along ... and just when you think yes Noah is my main Anderson , Melody goes and writes this book about Brandon!
It’s great read you see Brandon pursue Chloe after an unforgettable night! With a little help from everyone’s favorite match maker uncle Joseph, Brandon breaks Chloe’s walls down to show his feelings are true!
If you haven’t ready melody before it’s time to submerge yourself In all that is the Anderson Billionaires ares
The Anderson Billionaire series has always been one of my favorites and this one is another in the grand series. Uncle Joseph still does what he can to find love for his nephews as a way to pay them back for all that they might have missed in their early years. This story is no exception, only a little more subtle. Brandon is willing to wait for Chloe to figure it out but only for so long. Loved the back and forth between these two and that both were realistic, yet strong characters.

Sweet, patient love story
After a one-night-stand that rocked Brandon's world, he's ready to pursue a full-time relationship with Chloe. But this is going to take all the patience he has, because Chloe is determined to never get involved in a relationship again. And I don't think I've ever read about a character more determined to stay single!
Brandon, though, is a gentleman, so his pursuit of Chloe is just as determined but not the least bit deterred by her reluctance. He really shows how to NOT take "No" for an answer the right way. Not once did he cross over into pressuring her or ignoring her concerns, but he does capitalize on every hint from her that she's not as indifferent to him as she claims. Having the support of her two best friends, who are each married to one his brothers, helps him court her properly, and successfully.
The author portrays Chloe as more confused about her feelings than manipulative or duplicitous, which makes Brandon's devotion more sympathetic. I wasn't as convinced of Chloe's reasons for avoiding relationships, but ultimately their HEA was solid and the resolution of her family issues helped along the way. As someone who has read this series from the start, this book is a worthy addition to the set. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Oh the blurb for Brandon does not do him justice! He is such a great male character, going after what he wants without hesitation. He broke Chloe's walls down and was perfect for her. I loved that there was not a lot of drama in their story, but acceptance and taking a risk. The way Chloe and Brandon came together was very sweet and more to do with emotions after the physical. I loved their connection. But Brandon was more knowing about them while he chased a reluctant and hesitant Chloe. The last parts celebrating their love were so loving, heartwarming and a little spicy. I am looking forward to the next books in this series.

Another great story in the Anderson Billionaires series. Brandon is such a sweet guy. And he's an electrician who works hard. He's completely taken with Chloe. One night with her wasn't going to be enough. Chloe is a chef, owns a restaurant, and she's a complete perfectionist in everything. Relationships are complications to her and so she wants to avoid one with Brandon. Their chemistry is electric, though. Now she's working on designing a kitchen for the Veteran's Center... with Brandon. Can he convince her he's worth the risk? This story is all about family. I loved that! I think you'll enjoy it, too! 4 stars
Another great Anderson story! 5 billionaire stars for this one!
Here we have Brandon, works hard, very hot and sweet guy! He had one night with Chole, and he wants more! Can he convince her he's worth the risk to her heart?
Chloe is determined to concentrate on being the best chef she can be, she's a perfectionist thanks to her perfect parents. but that one night with Brandon was so memorable, can she risk it all and do it again?
I loved this one, I love them all! I could not put this book down! The Anderson's personify family unity, and I never want the family to end! Melody always puts her heart and sole into these characters and never disappoints us! Grab this one asap!
Good story of love, friendship, and family. This is the seventeenth overall in the Anderson Billionaires series and the third in the subset of these brothers. I haven't read any of the other books in the series, but I never felt lost. The author did an excellent job of filling in the backstory without bogging down the story. The book starts with Brandon's Uncle Joseph, patriarch of the Anderson family, and self-confessed meddler, plotting to bring Brandon and Chloe together. He has a reputation within the family, so he has to be devious in his machinations. He plans to use the veteran's center to further his plans.
Chloe is the chef and owner of a local café. As the daughter of a food critic (mom) and a famous chef (dad), Chloe was raised to expect perfection from herself. She frequently feels that she doesn't live up to expectation - theirs or hers - but she loves what she does. Chloe avoids relationships, preferring to concentrate on growing her business. She also believes that relationships are "messy," especially when they inevitably end.
Brandon and his four brothers grew up poor and only recently discovered that they were part of "that" Anderson family. He likes being part of the veterans center project, which is important to him, but looks forward to its being done. In his Air Force days, Brandon had a playboy reputation, with no interest in settling down. But with two of his brothers now married, he finds himself thinking more of the future.
Joseph wants Chloe to design the center's kitchen. She is reluctant because she knows it means working with Brandon. They had a steamy night together a couple of years earlier, and neither has forgotten it. Chloe prefers to pretend it never happened, while Brandon wants more. I loved how Brandon never gives up on Chloe. He starts slowly, using their need to work together on the center, to get his foot in the door. Brandon knows Chloe well enough not to push too hard, or he could push her away. Instead, he uses the things they have in common to chip away at her walls. Helping his goal is the attraction that burns so hot between them. Chloe works hard to convince herself that it is casual while Brandon knows that he's fallen hard for her. There were several times when I wanted to shake Chloe for being so darn stubborn and thought that Brandon had the patience of a saint to wait her out. I loved it when she finally realized that she couldn't fight her feelings any longer and allowed herself to admit her love for Brandon. I loved Brandon's big moment at the end, and the epilogue was great.
Two important themes in this book were friendship and family. A big part of Chloe's life is her friendship with Brooke and Sarah. They have supported each other through big and small problems. Chloe was there for them during their romances with Brandon's brothers, and now it is her turn. I loved their determination that nothing would come between them, even if her relationship with Brandon didn't work out. They could also see the truth of Chloe's feelings for him and didn't back off from pointing out what they'd observed. They gave her the kick in the pants she needed to overcome her fears.
I also liked the importance of family. Joseph's search for and inclusion of the "lost" Andersons shows his dedication to his family. While his meddling isn't usually appreciated, it is fun to see how well he knows those family members he "helps." I liked the respect they all had for each other and their abilities and loved how they came together to build the veterans center. Chloe had a complicated relationship with her parents. She never doubted their love for her or hers for them, but she frequently feels that she has disappointed them with her choices. There were a couple of awkward encounters with both her mom and her dad early on. As the story went on and Chloe opened her heart to Brandon, she also found her relationship with her parents changing. I enjoyed her mom's later visits and the effect they had on Chloe. I loved the surprise they had for her at the end of the book.
This is book three in The Anderson Billionaires and it is Brandon and Chloe's story and wow what a story it is. Brandon is the middle brother and when Joseph Anderson asked him to the electrics at the Veterans Centre he is having built he is honoured to be asked and said yes but he was even more thrilled.by the fact that Joseph had asked Chloe to work out the designs for the kitchen. Chloe had worked hard to get her restaurant to where it is now and nobody including her parents were going to take that away from all that she has achieved so far on her own. Chloe and Brandon had a one night stand at a wedding they were attending and there chemistry and connection between them was off the charts and Brandon wanted more but Chloe shut everything down and concentrated on her business. Will Chloe take Joseph up on his offer and will Brandon get what he wants so much and that is Chloe. There are many twists and turns and so many emotional situations and that is what makes this book so amazing and you have to keep turning the pages to see what will happen next. Melody Anne is an amazing author and writer and I have read every single one of her books and.they are so addictive and a must read and you will definitely not be disappointed.
I voluntarily reviewed an Arc copy of this Amazing Book.
This is the 3rd book in a series. I had not read the first two, but this was billed as a standalone romance. In short, it is definitely NOT a standalone.
The book seems to start in the midst of a story and I never felt like I could really catch on. I was swimming in details and reading through massive internal monologues from the characters as they rehashed previous moments.
If you've read the other books in this series you might like this one as well, but I wouldn't suggest reading it on its own.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own
