I loved learning new things about Keanu Reeves. His difficult childhood, unconventional movie choices, the movies he passed by, his drug use, the tragedies in his life, his kindness, and more.

I was interested in reading this book because of all the great things you hear about Keanu Reeves being a humble and kind person. I enjoyed reading about his early childhood and career, but there was a lot written about almost any woman he interacted with throughout his career. The book follows his family, personal life, and career, so this is the book if you're interested in learning about Keanu Reeves.

Who isn't s fan of Keanu? I feel like I've grown up with him as a ton of his movies were part of my childhood. He's an all around great guy and human being and seems to be like one of us despite his massive success. It was fun learning more about his amazing life.

Interesting if one is curious about the actor's origins. The book tends to get a little tedious once the man's career takes off but if you find this actor to be one of your favorites then the book gives you all the details you might want to know. In the end I found the book to be only mildlymworthwhile.

Ok, let's be real almost all of us are a fan of Keanu's. He pops off the screen and makes us all like him. When he is out in public, most people don't even notice him because of the way he just seems like one of us. He can blend in anywhere and we love him even more for that. This book is written in a way that will add to our understanding of him and like him even more.

Keanu Reeves has been one of my favorite actors since I was a teenager and I greatly enjoyed reading his personal story. The good to the bad - of which he experienced - makes the “celebrity” into a regular person who is doing the best he can.

I have read many of Marc Shapiro’s books and greatly appreciate his in-depth biographies.

I am not sure why I requested this one except that I like Keanu Reeves. While I find him interesting, I found out I didn’t want to read a book about him. So while I thought it was an ok book it just wasn't for me.

Who doesn't love Keanu Reeves?!
He has all the fame and glory from Hollywood but he is humble and kind with no ego. I love that and this is what is discussed a lot through this book, the actor's shyness even in the face of crazy success. I recommend this book for any Keanu fan.

I appreciate the publisher allowing me to read this book. If you like Keanu Reeves as I do you will enjoy this but I can't say more than that.

An unauthorised biography written by Marc Shapiro, it covers all aspects of Keanu's life before and after Hollywood stardom. Keanu is one of the nicest, down to earth people to be found amongst the Hollywood stars.... AND he is an enigma. We seem to know about him and yet he remains a mystery. This book proves that. And it seems that no matter how much one tries, no one will ever get to know the complete Keanu Reeves. Celebrities who complain about lack of privacy should take a few solid pointers from Keanu; he is proof that it can be done... be rich, be famous and yet be private.

Author Marc Shapiro's biography of Keanu Reeves is a must read. As far as the writing style and narration is concerned, it is absolutely fantastic. The way author has wevaed the story with the mastery of writing style and narration, it is truly commendable. Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend this work and give it full 5 stars for the writing, narration and overall presentation. Happy Reading.

He is a Canadian actor who has achieved great success worldwide. This is part of the reason I wanted to read this book. The other (and more important) reason is that he seems like a very decent, genuine, and down to earth person. I have seen a lot of his movies and have enjoyed the resurgence of his career. I like reading about people who work hard at doing their best in their line of work. Professionalism. I recommend this read.

I am a massive fan of Keanu Reeves, right back to the original Bill and Ted days.

If you like Hollywood stories, you’ll enjoy this book. If you’re a Keanu Reeves fan or even curious about his filmography (over 70 movies!), you’ll love this book. I was not a raving fan of Keanu Reeves, though I appreciated his work, and this book really opened my eyes to how versatile his filmography is and how interesting his career choices have been.

I was able to read this book thanks to NetGalley. I love Keanu Reeves and I was looking forward to reading this one. It was well done overall and I enjoyed learning details from his early life. I wish it had been an authorized bio but I did enjoy it nonetheless. Thanks again to NetGalley for the chance to read and review this book.

I love this book. I know all of his movies, but I did not know a lot about him. Marc Shapiro writes Keanu's story in a way that is very straight forward. It didn't feel like someone's opinion. Given how private Keanu Reeves' is, I have a feeling this is as close as we are going to get to an autobiography of the "Internet's Boyfriend." I could not read it fast enough and couldn't wait to turn the next page.

Let's make one thing clear from onset. I love Keanu Reeves. And my feedback on the book Keanu Reeves' Excellend Adventure has nothing to do with Keanu the person, only the book and just the book.
I found the book a bit like a hyperactive child on red cordial. It is all over the place. It is bulleted with quotes from online sources...
Yes, I understand that 'unauthorised biography' is just that - a biography without subject's permission. However, I was hoping for much deeper book. Hey, we are talking Keanu, right (the mysterious, free-spirited, completely unconventional guy who happens to be a talented actor)...
This book felt like 'catching the ride' on the wave of Keanu's stardom. I guess that's what unauthorised biographies are all about.
Disappointed? No, not really. Not impressed is more likely

Look, I love Keanu and enjoyed reading about him. I found the organization of this book to be a bit all over the place, and there was a bit too much inside baseball in regards to all of the talk about how the author went through the process of writing this book. All told, this was enjoyable, I think it could use some editing for clarity.
