Happily This Christmas is a contemporary romance set in the wedding destination town of Happily Inc. Even though this is the sixth book in the Happily Inc series, it can easily be read as a standalone romance as I did and still be enjoyed. Although this is now the second book I have now read in this series.
This time the story centres around Wynn Beauchene and her neighbour Garrick McCabe.
Wynn is a single Mom and neighbour of Garrick, the local cop. She has a secret crush on him, but it isn’t until he needs her help with his young estranged pregnant daughter that relationships of sorts develop with his daughter and between them.
But the path to true love never does run smooth!
The themes of family love and abandonment feature as well as self forgiveness.
I really think that this is a sweet romance that will brighten your day and get you in the mood for the Christmas spirit!
I love that once again the charm of this small town shines through and how much community spirit there is.
It's always lovely to be reintroduced to characters from earlier stories in the series. Whether you've read others in the series or not, this is a great Christmas story to add to your to be read pile.

The only thing that I wanted more of was the ending, I wished it didn’t end like it did. The characters were lovely.

Although it is set around Christmas, this family based romantic story can be enjoyed at any time of the year.
