I haven’t read the other books in this series. But I definitely will after reading this book I will be going back and reading the other sunshine sisters .
This is a great friends to lovers book. You really feel the chemistry between Taylor and pierce , but they make a pact to never mess with their friendship by adding sex into it . When they finally give in and break the pact it’s fireworks.
I received this as an arc! Thank you Jennifer Probst and netgalley for my advanced read, it was perfect for my vacation!
Although not a book I would purchase in my professional role, it is one that I will be recommending in my personal life! Thank you so much for allowing me to have access to the digital arc!
I went back to purchase the first two books in the series, and I'm glad I read those before this one. I love a good romance series, and the setting couldn't be more perfect!!!

I am a huge fan of Ms. Probst. I have some of her earlier books and had always been my faves from her.
This one is another friends to lovers romance. I read the blurb and got hooked.
It's swoon-worthy, sexy, funny and have a little bit of angst.
If you're looking for a feel-good, light read then this is the book to read.
This is my first Jennifer Probst book.
I wasn't aware Forever in Cape May is the third in a series, but it didn't matter; it reads as a stand alone,
The story between gorgeous Taylor and hot Pierce is the sweet friends to lovers trope. Wen they first blur the boundaries into lovers they try the no-strings attached route. We can guess if that works right?
Overall, it's a feel good romance set in a picturesque small town. Wouldn't we all like to be swept away to that place?
I haven't read previous books in series, so I wasn't familiar with the stories about the other sisters.
I love friends to lovers tropes, that's why I requested that title. I read J. Probst earlier book series 5 year ago and remembered that I loved her, so I gave it a chance.
The book was great, I really love author's reading style, energy and connection between main characters were sizzling and great. I had emotional scenes but overall was funny and easy read.
I fell in love with all the characters and I will surely continue to read her works.
If you are looking for a light, fun romance to read, look no further. The story is about two friends who end up as lovers. It is fairly predictable but I didn’t mind as I enjoy a light read every so often. I might read the rest of the books in the series, however this story was great on its own.
Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake for the opportunity to read and review this book.
Taylor always had her sights set on places far away from Cape May. She is an aspiring artist and while her life is in Cape May, her dreams aren’t. Everyone understands that including her friend, Pierce or at least she thinks.
Pierce loves everything about Cape May. He knows Taylor plans to leave soon and he is fine with that until the one night they take their friendship to another level. Now, they both try to navigate their new feelings while containing a summertime romance.
I enjoyed this friends to lover story so much. I guess I was looking for a summer romance read and this fit the bill. Pierce is so sweet and understanding. He tries so hard not to encroach on Taylor’s ambitions and desires. He has known her forever and sees exactly who she is.
Taylor on the other hand gave me lukewarm emotions at times. Her antics and behavior are sometimes childish. She is very stubborn and at times I wish she would have taken time to understand what was going on like Pierce did.
The chemistry between them is smoldering. Initially, I didn’t know if I really brought into them wanting a friends with benefits relationship due to the emphasis of their platonic friendship but as the story went along, I found them adorable. The friendship adds a nice layer to their blossoming love story.
While this tickled my fancy the predictability of the story is what held me back from a five star rating. I wish there was a twist or maybe some more angst to give the story a push. I definitely recommend this book and I plan to go back and read the other books in the series to get my small town romance thrill.

I think this has to be my favourite book of this series! I love Jennifer Probst and her contemporary romances- they always just hit the spot perfectly!
Our heroine has been working at the family wedding business to help out her sisters, but she continues to work on her art and when an amazing opportunity comes along to take her art to France she jumps at the chance! Although just as you go to move halfway across the world of course strange things start happening.... like having drunk sex with your best friends and then not being able to look at him without thinking about the sex.
With friends to lovers books I really need to believe in the friendship and I did in this book- it was built up well before they slept with each other and even what happened afterwards felt realistic. This book was all about growth for the heroine and finding her own and I’m here for that 🙌🏻. I know with JP books I’m going to be left satisfied and she never lets me down.
I've binged this series and this is my favourite by far. I've loved Taylor the whole way through. She's spunky, sassy and knows what she wants which isn't to be tied to the family business. I'm a sucker for the friends to lovers trope there is just something about the moment when 2 people who know each other so well realise their true feelings run deeper than friendship. I loved the light bulb moment for these 2. They gave me all the feels. This was a story with real passion not just romantically but for everything. Taylor and Pierce have such a strong emotion with their work as well as for each other. I'm glad i finally got to read about the sunshine sisters. It's been a ride which has sadly come to an end but what a way to finish the series
𝔽𝕠𝕣𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕣 𝕀𝕟 ℂ𝕒𝕡𝕖 𝕄𝕒𝕪 is the third book in the Sunshine Sisters series. It's about when the best of friends take the new step into the unknown and become lovers and think they know what the other wants and needs without really asking.
Taylor Sunshine is the youngest of the three sisters. She's always been an artist at heart and wants to travel the world, explore new countries and make her art her main focus.
After finishing college, when she's about to live her dreams she gets a devastating call from home, and spends the next several years helping her sisters out with the family bridal business, putting her dreams on hold.
Pierce Powers is her best friend and they vowed when they were teens that things were going to be kept platonic after 2 "failed" kisses.
So when things change present day for him and Taylor, his world is thrown upside down.
They have the perfect relationship. Trust, loyalty and friendship. But the attraction that both feel is the thing that stands between them, the fear of the unknown, and only thinking they know what the other is feeling.
Jennifer Probst is an amazing writer. Each book she pens takes you on an amazing journey where you feel like you are part of the story.
I'd like to thank the author, Jennifer Probst and #NetGalley for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
Forever In Cape May (Sunshine Sisters #3) is exactly why I love reading Jennifer Probst’s books. And when she ends a series, she saves the best for last and always does it justice. This is such a sweet and adorable and well written best friends to lovers story. I just knew that Pierce and Taylor were destined for greatness. Their bond, their friendship and their loyalty is endearing and like no other. I’m so glad they took a chance on each other. Both are artists (Taylor’s a painter and Pierce is a photographer) and Taylor with her wild child spirit and Pierce’s caring, protective and good natured personality, are a perfect match.
I love this series so much and the fact that it’s set in a beautiful beach town, makes it even better. It warms my heart that the Sunshine sisters got their well deserved HEA.
I loved the small town setting of Cape May, it provided a good background for these two creatives. Taylor ended up going back to her hometown to help with the family bridal business when she got a tragic call. Helping her sisters was important to her, but she always wanted to travel and explore.
Pierce is Taylor's best friend, they have been through a lot together and they have both always be each others person. Pierce is a photographer who works the weddings that Taylor's sisters have planned.
When one long night leads to too many drinks, they end up sharing a kiss, and a whole lot more. While they decide to forget it ever happened, neither one can. So a plan is hatched to just enjoy it for the summer. I mean they are already friends, why not add in some benefits. Besides Taylor is leaving for Paris at the end of the summer to finally have her first exhibit of her paintings.
While the summer draws near, they can't deny their feelings. Going back to just friends might not be possible. The last few chapters was a lot of push and pull. Both figuring out what they wanted their future to look like, and what their relationship would be when the dust settled.
I loved that the sister were there for her, as the men helped each other too. Taylor and Pierce had a lot to work through but happy they got the ending they did.
This was a good and sweet read.
I read it in one sitting. I was in a huge reading slump and this one was good to break my slump.3.5 stars
Taylor and Pierce are best friends in a small town. They have 1 wild night and wake up wondering how they landed in bed together. They decide to move their best friend status to friends with benefits. Where Pierce has feelings toward Taylor, she has no desire to move past the two being friends. Unfortunately, I felt like the two were just really going through the motions, and I felt the book drag from early on to almost the end. I wasn’t a huge fan of this one, but it could just be the mood I was in when reading, or my initial expectations. This book was well written, but I just wasn’t feeling it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Forever in Cape May is book 3 in the Sunshine Sisters series by Jennifer Probst and what a way to end this series!
Taylor and Pierce have been BFFs for so long but one night will change everything...she is determined to finally pursue a career in the art world and he wants more in his photography business...
Can these two realize that love has been there for them all along or will her career change where their future goes? Only time will tell...
beautifully written
This is my first book in this series and I was worried that I would be dropped into world I would feel out of place in. I was so wrong, from the first page I fell deeply for Taylor and Pierce. They are that wonderfully written couple that just gets each other, they love unconditionally and always do what’s best for each other. I truly loved jumping into this world and cannot wait to go back and read the others in the series. I truly enjoyed this series and want to revisit this family and this town. Highly recommended.
The Sunshine Sisters are so much fun to read. We’ve read about sister one and two, now it’s sister number three. Taylor never wanted to be part of the bridal business that the three girls run. She wanted to get away and pursue her art. But she agreed to help her other sisters out for awhile. This is a friends to lovers book. Taylor and Pierce have been best friends for years. Always telling themselves that they will never cross that line. But of course, we all know how that goes. Don’t ever make a promise you can’t keep. One night changes it all. But Taylor still doesn’t want to stick around. She wants to pursue her dreams. And Pierce never wants to leave Cape May. This is where his heart is. But his heart is breaking, because Taylor is leaving. Can these two figure it out before it’s to late? We get to enjoy the rest of the crew as well. Avery, Carter, Bella, Gabe and Zoe. Such a close knit family who always watch out for one another. This is the last book in the series and it’s a little bittersweet when I finished. I’m going to miss this group from Cape May. They were such a fun group of people that I hope you enjoy as much as I did.
Taylor Sunshine had BIG dreams. Taylor wanted to travel, see the world, and paint. When her sister’s husband was killed, she was called home to help. She never had plans of staying in Cape May, even resented returning to a place where she didn’t feel as though she “fit in”. But family is EVERYTHING and she was needed. Over the last two years, her sisters have found their soulmates and business is booming. It’s finally time for Taylor to pursue her dreams. With the help of Carter and his connections, Taylor scores a showing in Paris. Now she just has to complete her paintings. She doesn’t need any distractions. Especially not her best friend Pierce.
Pierce has known and loved Taylor since grade school. Pierce has always been considered a part of the Sunshine family. Taylor is and always has been his best friend. Both he and Taylor have had relationships destroyed over their friendship. But they’ve always just been best friends—until a friendly competition and a few dozen shots. They both swore they’d go back to being besties when it came time for Taylor to leave. They didn’t count on emotions and the deep feelings of love that would seep into the mix. Taylor always knew she wasn’t like everyone else. She wanted to travel, explore, paint. She didn’t dream of a “white picket fence” and babies. Pierce loved Cape May and everything about it. He wanted to put down roots and have a HEA—only he wanted that with Taylor. But not enough to derail her dreams...
Wowza! I cried through the last chapter. Hurtful words, misconceptions, lies, FEAR....all combine to destroy a lifelong friendship. Fear is a powerful thing and can keep you from reaching your dreams, maybe even some you didn’t know you had. Making decisions for someone just because you think that’s what they want or can handle....Taylor’s poignant painting had my heart in my throat. Listening to your heart instead of crumbling under your fears is ALWAYS the right decision. I really identified with this story, maybe even more than the previous two in the series. With that being said, I LOVED EVERY novel in this series. I can’t say that about a lot of series. There’s always a story that’s “so-so”. Not in this series!!! Jennifer Probst knocked it out of the park with ALL the feels. I especially love the guy support group (Carter, Gabe, Pierce). You don’t see that in many books, but it’s nice to see their viewpoints (even when they’re wrong!). I read a gifted copy of this novel and all opinions stated are my own.
I've been looking forward to Taylor and Pierce's book since Love on Beach Avenue and I'm happy to report that it didn't disappoint.
Taylor and Pierce have been tiptoeing around each other for awhile, and after a night of a little too much alcohol they finally give in to what they both want. At first everything is amazingly wonderful, a happy little secret that eventually gets spilled (in hilarious fashion). But then Taylor's art takes off on the other side of the world and Pierce has wanted nothing more than to keep his roots.
You can see how the love between them changes them both, and how they're destined to be together. But things fall apart when Taylor follows her dream. I love how this was handled and how in the end it brought Taylor and Pierce so much closer.
Friendship grows complicated when emotions and actions take a shift toward forever. Taylor and Pierce are about to learn that there are no rules when it comes to games of the heart. Probst bids a bittersweet goodbye to three stubborn sisters and irresistible romance that sticks in the heart as it walks away with your soul. Forever in Cape May is a captivating way to bid adieu to great storytelling.
