The final book in the Sunshine Sisters series does not disappoint! Taylor & Peirce's story has all of the feels, romance and humor, of which Jennifer Probst never fails to deliver. My heart went through many emotions during this book; Happiness, contentment and heartbreak.. I have yet to be disappointed in a Jennifer Probst book and I'm sure I never will be. Although this is a series, you don't have to read the other books to enjoy Forever in Cape May, but, it will enhance the story..
Taylor Sunshine is just marking time at Sunshine Bridal. She wants to paint and travel the world. Finally the time is at hand, she's poised at the cusp of fulfilling all her dreams and more. Of course her muse has deserted her at this crucial junction and she needs help. Help comes in the form of inspiration and encouragement from her best friend Pierce who's always been there for her through thick and thin. Of course if you've been reading the series you know that Pierce is madly in love with Taylor even though she's completely oblivious. Is it finally time for Pierce to fulfill what's in his heart?
Friends with benefits, just a summer fling that gets Taylor's creative juices flowing such that she's creating art that expresses the joy and creativity that is filling her life. Of course their tryst has to be a secret from her family but as we all know secrets have a way of finding an out. Pierce and the two men engaged to Taylor's sisters have formed a pack and it is so fun to see them gossiping with each other. We think girls have a pack? wait till you meet Pierce with Gabe and Carter.
Pierce is also at a cross roads. He does great work and is well established and constantly in demand but not all of what he's doing satisfies the creative edge for him. As Taylor paints her heart out he begins exploring opportunities to exercise his own creativity. He travels to Paris to attend Taylor's exhibition and it seems that finally the two of them are on the same page and things are truly looking forward for them. And them Wham! it comes to a screeching halt.
This series has been superb with the emotional connection between the three couples and Bella's little girl Zoe. While I suppose you can read this book as a stand alone it will be so much more powerful if the three books are read in order. The family dynamics and chemistry is superb. The angst between Taylor and Pierce is real and of course things will work themselves out into a happy ending since this is a romance. I'm sorry to see this series end and can't wait to see where the author will take us next.
I'll keep this short: I've been enjoying this series, so I read this for completion's sake, but that blurb had all kinds of red flags in it for me. And they all came true. I can't really blame the book for delivering on its promise of a cringe-worthy friends with benefits arrangement between two longtime friends who should definitely know that they can't keep feelings out of the equation. We got a few peeks at this relationship prior to the start of the book, so I was already hesitant going in. It was predictable, went on way too long, and was generally a frustrating read. But not poorly written, and not unexpected based on the blurb. It just wasn't my kind of love story.
I was really looking forward to Taylor’s story, and my favorite trope is friends to lovers. But when Pierce and Taylor conclude at the beginning of their story that there’s no chemistry, the reader (and author) should have believed them.
Although Pierce isn’t lacking feelings for Taylor, she just wants to hang onto that “ride or die” friendship. I get that, but is there really no chemistry (definitely, from the way it’s written) or does she just not want there to be any?
Either way, it dragged any interest I might have had right out of me, and I was just waiting for the story to end. And even though the end is the best part of the book, it was by then too little and much too late. I wish this series would have ended better than it began, but sadly for this reader. It didn’t.
The perfect ending to the Sunshine family!
The back and forth of these two had me wanting their story from book one. Diving into their back story was key in understanding how deep their love is. Seeing their growth together and alone showcased just what I love about Jennifer’s books.
This read was a total five star read, honestly the whole series is a five! I truly enjoy Jennifer’s words. She creates worlds that are relatable, romantic, and just plain old fun. I will revisit this series often.
This is the final book in the Sunshine Sisters series. Taylor and Pierce have been best friends forever. They made a pact in college that they wouldn’t cross any physical lines as it could impact their friendship. Taylor is an artist who put her art career on hold to help her family with their wedding business. She is now looking at starting her art career and leaving the family business. One drunken night, Taylor and Pierce cross the line and break their pact. Can Taylor and Pierce transition from friends to more? I loved Pierce. He is a great guy and you want him to get his happily ever after. Taylor is a little more prickly, she is full of insecurities and unsure that she will ever get a happily ever after. This was a great way to end the series. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest opinion.
This is book 3 in The Sunshine Sisters Series and Forever in Cape May is a perfect addition to this wonderful series. This is the youngest sister Taylor Sunshine and Pierce Powers friends to lovers romance, I have loved all the books in this series but I have to say this is my favourite.
Taylor never planned on joining the family business at Sunshine Bridal, her dream was always to travel and take her art to Paris. Pierce and Taylor have been friends forever but his life is in Cape May, he loves his job as a photographer but one night of one too many drinks has Taylor and Pierce sharing a night of passion and that means deciding if they can still remain just friends or do they both want more....
That one night changed both their lives and their relationship forever but what happens when Taylor moves to Paris, will the distance and time apart break or make them.
I love the residents of Cape May, their romances take over my life and I find myself wishing I had friends like the Sunshine sisters in my life. Me Probst does a wonderful job with her description of this town and her stories are always entertaining and fun. I really didn’t want this book to end and that’s a sure sign of a great read.
This is the third book in the series set in Cape May. Taylor has always wanted more than living and working in Cape May. Unlike her sisters, she has always wanted to travel and see the world outside the confines of their seaside town. Pierce has been her side-kick, partner in crime, confidant, and best friend since high school. He gets her in ways her family does not. He understands her artistic nature and pushes her to push herself. They have never blurred the lines of their friendship until one drunken night when they let passion take over. Knowing that it’s a few short weeks until Taylor goes to Paris for her art exhibition, they decide to continue their friends with benefits arrangement.
Pierce has felt there is something lacking in his life and his changing relationship with Taylor has given him the focus, so he can reevaluate what he wants both personally and professionally. He is strong, sexy, and so in love with Taylor! I really wanted to shake some sense into Taylor, to make her see what she had in front of her the whole time. She is stubborn, but eventually comes to her senses!
I love their relationship, they have an easy friendship, they laugh together, they’re artistic, and their chemistry is amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed all books about the Sunshine sisters, they are a must for any TBR. Advance copy provided by the publisher in return for an honest review.
When reading a Jennifer Probst I think of the saying that says something about it is not how the story ends but the journey. You pickup a romance novel and you expect a happy ever after but what makes you read to the end is the journey and Jennifer takes you on a ride you don't want to get off. We visit Cape May for the third book in a series about the Summer sisters were ride with Taylor and Pierce forever friends. They believe that there friendship is valuable that they will not allow anything to come between them including themselves.
They have there ups and downs and it is a relief to the senses when they come to theirs. The book is warm, heartfelt, thoughtful, smart, sexy, and fun. I recommend this for anyone looking for an escape.
I'm sad the the end of the Sunshine Sisters is here, but I've been looking forward to Taylor's story the most. Of the three sisters, Taylor has always seemed closed off. She definitely doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve. She's slow to trust and allergic to yucky love and forever after. An oxymoron since she works at her family wedding planning business. And she's fantastic at it. But, her life has been in a holding pattern since she came home from college to help her family out.
Her best friend Pierce has always been at her side. The few times they've tried to bring their relationship to the next level failed and they continued to be the best of friends. But one drunken night, everything changed and all bets were off. Except for one... they agree to a friends with benefits arrangement while she's wrapping up her life in Cape May before she embarks on the journey of her lifetime to show her art in Paris. It fuels the muse of her paintings, bringing forth emotion Taylor doesn't show to the world.
Taylor and Pierce mistakenly think that intimacy on their terms won't change their relationship. Will her move to Paris break them? Will Pierce reveal his true feelings for Taylor? Find out as you read this stunning conclusion to the Sunshine Sisters series.
4 1/2 Stars for this friends-to-lovers romance
Taylor and Pierce's story gave me all the feel-good feelings! I loved how Taylor went back to her home town to help her family even though that was not where she wanted to spend her life. She was an artist who wanted to travel the world painting all the famous places. And Pierce was happy being a wedding photographer in his home town and wanted to settle down with the requisite wife, 2 kids, a dog and even the white picket fence. But when Taylor and Pierce decide to take their best friend's relationship a step further and add the benefits for the summer, they never though they would fall so hard for each other. After all they've been best friends forever and never thought that their hearts would get involved ... they were just scratching an itch. I laughed so hard when Taylor's niece Zoe walked in on Pierce making breakfast for Taylor ... in the nude ... wanting to know what he spilled that he had to take off all his clothes. I love it when kids are in a book ... they come out with the cutest lines. Then there's the intimate scenes ... Jennifer Probst sure knows how to write them!
I received an early copy courtesy of Montlake through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.
Forever in Cape May is a very well written romance. A great plot with well developed characters. Romance readers will enjoy this book.
Interesting story line kept me enthralled from start to finish. There is friendship, desire, regret and love. The characters are strong and determined as well as fearful of change. Found this to be an amazing addition to the series and well worth reading.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book; all opinions expressed are my own.

Teaching with the Enemy-Jaqueline Snowe
It was the title that triggered me to request the arc. Being a sucker for enemies-to-lovers this blurb seemed to be right up my alley. And the story was kind of cute. As a closet millionaire, Gilly hides her fortune from her co-workers at the elementary school where she is a kindergarten teacher. Because she learned the hard way that people treat you differently when they know you have millions on your bank account.
When she discovers that her new colleague is the hot one night stand who stood her up, she is confused by his harsh reaction to her. He finds her sparkly classroom too disturbing for children and he condones her buying stuff for the children in her class. Determined to show Christopher that she didn't 'buy' her Teacher of the year award with gifts for the children, she sets out to make the school year the best ever. Despite the contempt and hate Christopher sends her way and the blackmail Gilly receives.
Slowly Gilly learns the reason for Christopher's cold shoulder and Christopher discovers that Gilly really cares about her students. But when enemies turns to lovers, there are still secrets between them both.
Will those secrets tear them apart? The story is original and cute. Although not very believable. So that is why you can have trouble connecting to
the characters. In all, three and a half stars from me and a special thank you to Net galley for providing the arc.

When a cowboy loves a woman-
Jennie Marts
What can I say? Creedence just kind of grows on you. So, when I saw another one of the Creedence Horse Rescue series on Net galley, I just did a happy dance.
(In my mind, of course, wouldn't want anyone to catch me dancing with my e-reader, LOL). After we met Bryn in A cowboy state of mind, we already learned that Bryn collects strays. And she doesn't stop at animals. She also has taken Elle under her wing.
Elle has a hard time to start living again, after her husband died. She finds some happiness again in helping out Bryn with all her animals. And when a kitchen fire leaves her homeless for the next few weeks, she finds herself on a couch at Bryn's.
Elle gets regular visits from Mandy, the 10-year old daughter of the hot veterinarian Brody, who seems to take a liking to both Elle as the animals at the Heaven can wait Rescue. Brody has been raising Mandy on his own, since his wife died over cancer 5 years ago. Having experienced the pain the loss has cost him, and his beautiful daughter, has made him reluctant to even start dating again. But he recognizes the pain on Elle and they both enjoy spending time together. And although they both are scared to fall in love again, the seem to can't stop it from happening. Add in a spunky 10-year old and some hilarious animals, who have been rescued by Bryn and you have some great ingredients for a cozy read. Heartwarming, cute and funny, with some tears along the way. What a wonderful read.
Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Net galley for providing the arc.

Anatomy of a Player - Cindi Madsen
What I like about Cindi's books is that they are all very different, yet very cute and funny.
So, when Anatomy of a Player was available on Netgalley, I grabbed it. And although it is part of the Taking shots series, you can easily read it as a standalone.
We meet Whitney, who has sworn of players, after having her heart broken again. So, she decides to focus on her study and on her new job at the college newspaper. Her first assignment is to expose how sport jocks receive all different kind of privileges, while studying. Therefore, she goes 'undercover' as a sports reporter for the local hockey team. Because those hot as hell hockey players are the biggest players of the campus. And their main star Hudson Decker certainly is the poster child of a player with a capital 'P' . So Whitney decides to find out the Anatomy of a Player to warn other girls how to recognize a player and to keep them at bay. She didn't realize however, that this would turn out to be more difficult than expected. Because beneath the cocky exterior, Hudson turns out to be a very cute and kind guy. Hudson feels the pressure of keeping up his grades, to ensure his sport scholarship. Without it, he can kiss college goodbye, since he will not be able to pay for his tuition. So, between hockey and learning, he doesn't really have time for a distraction. But their new sports reporter is an enigma. A brianiac girl who seems unaffected by the flattery of the hockey guys. When the guys bet that Hudson can't get her to loosen up-in his bed-before the end of the semester, he can 't resist the challenge.
But while Whitney and Hudson spend more time together, they both realize that there is so much more than meets the eye Slowly the attraction is building. But when their different reasons for sticking together become clear, will they still want to be friends? Find out for yourself in this wonderful read. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Forever in Cape May-Jennifer Probst
I just love Jennifer Probst's romances. They are funny, cozy and heartwarming. So, when the third installment of The Sunshine Sisters came along on Netgalley, I had to request it. In Love on Beach Avenue we have first met the Sunshine sisters, who run the sunshine Bridal business in Cape May. Whereas Avery and Bella are totally happy with their jobs in the wedding planning business, for Taylor it is only temporarily. She really wants to become an artist and explore the world. So, when her new brother-in-law connects her to a gallery holder, who wants her to produce a series of paintings for an exposition, she is very excited.
And who better to celebrate with, then her best friend Pierce? For years, Pierce and Taylor had a platonic relation. But with Taylor leaving for Paris soon, they both find themselves admitting that they may be lusting after each other as well. And with a very definitive end date on Taylor's time in Cape May they decide to add some benefits to their friendship. Because both know that Pierce is destined to stay in Cape May and Taylor is the one for travelling. But while their remaining time together is nearing the end, both Pierce and Taylor start to wonder of their dreams are still the same. Or maybe they share more dreams and ideals than they may actually think.
Jennifer creates a wonderful story, while teaching us that it can be dangerous to assume you know what other people want. It could lead to heartbreak, funny situations and certainly an interesting story. Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.
Saved the best for last!
If you’ve read the first two books in the Sunshine Sisters series then you know that Taylor and Pierce are perfect for each other and destined to be together...too bad they don’t see it!
Friends since they were kids, they make a pact to never mess their friendship up with sex. When they give into the chemistry between them they both realize that their futures may look more similar than they alway envisioned.
I love the emotional journey that Taylor takes and they growth they Pierce fearlessly embraces. But be warned this one will have you laughing and fanning yourself from the heat these two generate but also might have you shedding a tear or two...or ten! It’s the perfect ending to a wonderful series.
I received a complimentary review copy of this book but all opinions are my own.
This was my first read from Jennifer Probst. I found it to be an enjoyable story with relatable characters, great banter, a few sexy moments and some great push/pull will they/won't they moments. It kept my interest through out and had me wishing I lived in Cape May and had these characters as friends in my real life. I need to go back and read the other Sunshine Sister stories but I didn't feel that I was missing anything in this story without them so you could easily read this as a standalone.
Can a BFF become a lover and then an HEA if they both want different things? That's the question facing Taylor and Pierce. She's an artist who wants to be in Paris but is back in Cape May to help with the family wedding business. She's also been friends with Pierce since forever. He's a wedding photographer who loves his job and the town. They have a night together and then make an agreement to be friends with benefits except... They both have to make a decision about how to go forward-or not- with their relationship at the end of the summer. No spoilers from me. I enjoyed the first book in the series but missed the second and think this will be fine as a standalone. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. A light fun read with good characters which reminded me how much I enjoyed a weekend spent in Cape May.
I have read many books by Jennifer Probst and thank NetGalley for an advanced copy to review. This book seems different than many of the other JP books I've read previously. It has a really sweet vibe to it that I really enjoyed. That doesn't mean it is a clean novel, but I thought the romance was sweet. Pierce is an amazing Hero, I really loved him. I thought the heroine, Taylor, was wishy washy, but still likable. I wish that since they were such great friends before they became more that they were more open about their feelings, but then there woudn't have been a book. :-). A strong 4 stars.
Forever in Cape May by Jennifer Probst (Sunshine Sisters #3) 4.5 stars
Taylor Sunshine and Pierce Powers, bffs since forever. Two people who have a wonderful relationship too special to ruin in the name of romance. Taylor works in the family wedding planning business, wrangling brides and groom, arranging bachelorette parties and other assorted crisis. Pierce is a professional wedding photographer, but he is looking for other opportunities. Taylor is also an artist on the cusp of her big break; a gallery owner is taking a chance on her talent and is going to show her art in Paris. Neither of them want to complicate their lives, but a drunken night changes all that. Will two lifelong friends take a chance on love and a HEA? You have to read the book to find out.
I loved this book and since it is the final book in the trilogy, it hits all the marks and provides a nice finale to the series. The attraction between Taylor and Piece was palpable and some the scenes were pretty steamy. I look forward to any future books by Ms. Probst.
Thank you Netgalley and Montlake for this ARC.
