No no no this series can’t be over!!! The Sunshine Sisters series is one of top favorite ever & I’m so sad it’s over, but what a fabulous way to go out!
Since day one, Taylor Sunshine & Pierce Powers have had a close friendship. After a night out, everything changes. They go from best friends to lovers over night. With Taylor going to Paris for her art & Pierce’s life in Cape May, they make a pact to have a summer fling, no strings attached. But with a friendship that’s so personal & deep, can they make it work?
Ugh. This was perfect. I loved Taylor & Pierces closeness. I loved their bonds with the sisters & the guys as well. They were each other’s person & I adored their relationship. Once again, there was nothing I didn’t enjoy from Jennifer’s writing.
Sweet, sexy & all around fabulous story!
Forever in Cape May recalls the story of Taylor and Pierce, childhood best friends who eventually want more. This was a perfectly good story! I loved the beachy settings and the feel of summer the book gave. It was a good friends-to-lovers arc, but without anything special about it. It was a lovely relationship development, but was similar to maaaaaany things I've previously read. I wished there had been a more unique twist to it!
Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Taylor and Pierce have been best friends for years. They make a pact over the summer for a no strings attached relationship. I enjoyed the chemistry between Taylor and Pierce.
I was looking forward to Taylor and Pierce's story and really enjoyed. This love story wasn't one of my favorites from Jennifer Probst, I just didn't enjoy the drama between these Taylor and Pierce- supposed forever friends.
Pierce was great and sweet, but suprising when it came down to the hard part. Just didn't hit the spot with me.
Loved this gang though and enjoyed the entire series.
This is the third book in The Sunshine Sisters series. This can be read as a stand alone, but would be better enjoyed in the series. Taylor and Pierce story is sweet friends to lovers with no strings attached trope.
Overall Forever in Cape May is a small town, feel good romance.
ARC kindly provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Pierce and Taylor are very close and grow up to work together. They kiss but don't want to ruin their relationship by having sr . I liked the dialogue, descrptions i and characters. Good read
I have always enjoyed Jennifer Probst's novels. The latest one is no different.
I haven't read the first two books in the series and while this is an interconnected book, it can easily be read as a standalone. Although I must confess, after reading this one, I fully intend to read the other two books.
In this book, we have Taylor and Pierce, best friends from ages and complete opposites (only sorta) who cross the line one day. What follows is their attempt to find their HEA without sacrificing their dreams and wishing the best for the other.
I liked the fact that the characters were well developed, there was focus on having individual identities and the writing flowed. The book before this one was a DNF, particularly because of the writing style, so I was extra conscious about the pacing and flow of the book and Probst delivered.
People who enjoy the friends to lovers trope would definitely enjoy this book.
I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinion are my own.
Good book!! I definitely enjoyed reading this one and this whole series! This book had plenty of heartache and heartbreak! It was funny at times and definitely had some steam to it! I highly recommend this book and series!! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
