Another great addition to this fun romantic suspense series I love this series as while it has your usual romantic suspense feel there is also a lot of humour included in it So you get quite a few laughs along the way and can't we all do with more to laugh about

We have met Dex in previous books in this series and he came across as a little bit uncaring but now we learn why he is like that. he is super protective almost to the point of over the top once he meets the woman that he knows is meant for him. Lacey is that woman she is a member of Wilde security and this CIA agent needs her for an op in fact he needs her to pretend to be his fiancee The only thing is emotions soon become involved and this man that has never believed in love is suddenly willing to do anything for a woman. and his case may have put her in danger . Can this leopard change his spots and actually commit you will have to read to see

I can't help but imagine Dex as Jason Statham. Plus the book reads like one of his action movies. Just missing some high-speed car chases. I can understand why Lacey has a hard time trusting Dex. It was hard earned and because of that I don't think it'll ever be lost.
