This super cute book is perfect for parents at home who wish to bring more mindfulness into their house. It would also be a great tool to help children cope with their emotions. I wish this book was around when my children were young. It can be used in the classroom, maybe one activity at a time. I will definitely look to adding a hard copy of this book to my book shelf.

This is an amazing children's book that shows children how to practice mindfulness, yoga, breathing exercises, visualisation, stress relief and much more. The book is fun, easy to read and it is very bright and colourful, which children will love. The exercises in the book are awesome. My daughter and I loved this book and I highly recommend it!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and netgalley for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book is lovely! I have a two year old daughter, and on first glance, I thought this book would be way over her head. To my surprise, she really enjoyed it! We couldn’t read a lot of it together, but it had sections that went over things you could actually do right then and there with your child. She especially loved the yoga moves and the breathing techniques.

As a parent, I liked that this gave me some good talking points, and techniques to do with kids. It’s not a story, which is what I thought it was When I first viewed the cover.

Overall, I’d recommend this book if you have children because all kiddos need some guidance with this topic.

A perfect little book for young children and their parents/carers/teachers which will I think prove very helpful and popular in these difficult times. The book is easy to follow, colorful and very inclusive which is great to see. It introduces simple exercises which are easy for anyone to follow. A must for any early years' bookshelf.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley.

Kids and their parents will enjoy and benefit from this basic introduction to mindfulness and yoga. Mindfulness exercises such as taking a “mind picture” are interspersed with instructions for yoga poses that also include a strong emphasis on visualization. The emphasis on visualization and breathing make the yoga poses accessible. Illustrations include drawings of ethnically diverse children and the animals named in the poses. The illustration for "Stand like a superhero" includes a child in a wheel chair. Some poses are renamed, for instance savasana or "final resting pose" is renamed "do nothing pose." These activities will benefit many families in our community at this anxious time. Children whose parents practice yoga will also enjoy this child-friendly explanation.

This is a nice, colorful, helpful book to introduce young children to mindfulness, simple yoga poses, breathing exercises and stress relief. It's very encouraging and covers the topics well. I wish it named the yoga poses -- the names of poses are often worked into the text like tree, cat, cow, etc. but it never says this pose is this or that and often uses totally different words. That said, it has great tools for young kids, especially the preschool age.

I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for review.

This is a great book to help kids become more in tune with their bodies and to voice what they feel and what they need. It walks them through various stretches and techniques to calm down and feel the feelings in their body and mind. Plus the illustrations are simple but engaging.
