What an enjoyable series! Each story is a standalone with each couple getting their HEA, however, I think I enjoy them more when I have read them all. Three girls, who meet at a resort when they are 23, get caught together during a cyclone, find they all have the same birthdays, and 7 years later get back together again. Chloe is the yoga instructor, always looking for her spiritual side and trying hard to live her life with joy. Xavier is a local cop, and a bit of a playboy, but he has a thing for Chloe. Xavier was such a good guy, but a typical cop who sees things as black or white, and that proves difficult in this story. Altogether a very enjoyable story and one I am so glad I read.

M/F Romance
I really love these women. They are honest, true to themselves, and really fun to read. You should definitely read the previous books, as it helps you understand the relationships among the women and men in these stories.
This is Chloe's story. She is a yogi, author, and amazing businesswoman who wants to help others overcome their own heartbreak. She helps others find their true selves. With her best friends, she is opening up a great business. Her past has pushed her forward with finding herself and she doesn't want to look back. With great friends and a great town, Chloe is happy with her life.
Xavier knows who he wants, but he also knows that she has placed him firmly in the friend zone. Despite that, he isn't going to give up. When he sees an opportunity to help Chloe out with a situation, he jumps at it.
With Xavier's family issues, Chloe's ex, and friends who just want what's best for you, Xavier and Chloe will have to learn to trust each other, lean on others, and find their truths in order to figure out if they can be who they want and find happiness together. It's a very sweet story with some spicy aspects. You'll love these women and be sad to see this series end.

This is the final book in the series – I have just read all three in a row, which has been such a perfect way to use up a long weekend! I enjoyed being transported into the company of three strong women who bonded over an almost tragedy, and now join together in Wildfire and find a whole new direction to their lives. The place is fabulous, the locals are hilarious, and now that the resort is about to open, the trio of best friends have to decide what happens in their long-term future.
Chloe is nursing a broken heart – her ex cheated on her and damaged her self-esteem. She lives her life openly and supports others through her self-help book, so she is very raw and closed to a new relationship. Xavier, the new in town police officer, has been making it very clear that he is interested, but she chooses to avoid him. This story breaks down the boundaries, gives us a clear view of her horrible, self-obsessed ex, and has us absolutely cheering along Xavier in his mission to make Chloe a part of his life.
I loved the crazy of the resort's first event. The arrogance of the man who has booked the event, and the revelation to Chloe that not all men are so self-absorbed. And Z's god-daughter is an important foil as Chloe starts to see what really does bring her happiness.
I really enjoyed this trilogy and would highly recommend it to you – it is fun, sexy, sweet, and completely pulled me away from the everyday, which was very welcome.
From the first book in the Wildfire Lake Series Skye Jordan has teased us with Chloe and Xavier. Finally their story is here in Swept Away (Wildfire Lake #3). A bestselling, new age, self-help novelist Chloe gives the appearance of a flighty spiritualist. Police Officer Xavier is more of the tough guy who gives off player vibes. Instead both are wounded souls looking for something or someone.
I was not at all surprised that Xavier takes advantage in a helping sort of way of a to get closer to Chloe. I was surprised that this was the way the plot would go. Chloe had been a strong character in the past books but seems very needy in this one. I guess that could happen.
The plot flows with steamy, steamy scenes between Chloe and Xavier. The bedroom door is wide open in this series. This time it overshadows the plot somewhat. Plus you can count on profanity to be in dialogue and thoughts. For me, the story would have been just as good with less.
An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is book 3 in the Wildfire Lake series and I would absolutely read the previous books before reading this one as there are events in those books that lead into this one. With that being said, we get Chloe Hart and Xavier Wilde's story in this one! Chloe has been all over the world learning about self healing and inner peace in an effort to be her best self. Now she is settling in one place in order to be partners with her best friends in a vacation resort. She has a reputation for being a spiritual teacher as well as a self help guru. Xavier is a police officer in Wildfire who has changed his whole life in order to be there for goddaughter after losing her dad (and his best friend). He knows from the first moment he meet's Chloe that he wants her but she insists on being just friends after what happened with her ex. She doesn't want to have to deal with another player, and that is exactly what Xavier is. But when her ex comes to town Xavier steps up to be a buffer between him and her, and their connection grows into something she wasn't expecting. But can she trust in him when the going gets rough or will her bad luck with men hold true?
I think out of all 3 of these books that this one is definitely my favorite! I loved the chemistry between Chloe and Xavier right from the start. They have this fun way of talking to each other that I truly liked and enjoyed. I was leery about Chloe's story because I just don't get people who live the way she does or thinks the way she does. And honestly, I loved her approach to life and the way she is always striving to find the things that bring her happiness rather than letting everything drag her down. Xavier may come across as a player (and I didn't like something he said to her about that) but I can understand it to a point. There were a couple little things that bothered me about that but I don't want to say much because I think it would be a spoiler. That is the only reason I knocked it down from 5 stars, otherwise I loved everything else about it! Perfect way for this series to end!!
Ms. Skye certainly saved the best for last - I absolutely loved Chloe’s story! From Laiyla and KT’s books, you get bits & pieces of the relationship Chloe and Xavier have. Having a shattered heart automatically puts a locked cage around it, and Chloe has no intention of having anyone hurt her again, especially her best male friend Xavier, playboy extraordinaire. Xavier has patiently waited for Chloe to give him a chance. But he’s no saint and has been with plenty of other women in their small town, which has automatically put him in the friend zone with Chloe. When her cheating ex manages to weasel his way in Chloe’s life again, will Xavier finally lay claim to the woman who’s captured his heart?
Chloe has trust issues and Xavier is keeping an eye on his deceased partner’s daughter. With the ex wanting a second chance, Chloe leans on Xavier more and she can no longer deny the feelings she has for him. Things between them are put to a test when misunderstandings occur and Chloe’s heart is broken once again. How will they navigate through the broken trust and hurt for forgiveness to begin? This was a great series and I’m sad to see it end!
Thank you Netgalley and Cygnet Books for the opportunity to read a copy.
4.5 “Listen To Your Heart” stars!
Chloe Hart is a woman who has traveled all over the world, but recently put down roots with her two best friends in the small town of Wildfire, California. She's well known for her reputation as a spiritual teacher who draws people from every walk of life. She's all about energy, purpose, inner joy and peace, and strives to help guide others to be the best version of themselves. As a meditation and yoga guru she's dedicated to her work and believes in healing from within. After suffering a broken heart, she's put everything she has into completely reinventing herself, and learning to be happy and fulfilled on her own. She's done a lot of soul searching and is now an independent, successful woman living life on her own terms finding happiness without a man.
Xavier Wilde is a police officer in Wildfire who has his sights set on Chloe, and keeps trying to take things to the next level. Unfortunately he's been friend zoned, and isn't sure how to get her to see him as more. He desperately wants her to be his, but can't seem to get past all her barriers. He's been crazy about her since the day they met, and is just wanting her to realize what he's known all along, that they are meant to be.
Xavier's friendship means everything to Chloe, but she continues to try and fight their attraction and explosive chemistry. He's gorgeous, playful, charming and kind, but the last thing she needs is a player. As their connection grows and his devastating smiles get to her, wanting him terrifies her. They share an undeniable bond, but will she allow herself to trust her heart again?
Swept Away (Wildfire Lake, #3) by Skye Jordan is the steamy conclusion to the Wildfire Lake series. It's a flirty, passionate, emotional friends to lovers standalone romance about taking chances and following your heart. I really enjoyed this entire series!
I have been looking forward to Swept Away. I wanted to know Chloe’s story, but I was looking more forward to Xavier. I have loved him in the previous books in this series. He has always liked Chloe, but after her last relationship ended because she was cheated on she has brushed off any romantic relationship. But that didn’t stop Xavier from continually trying to get her to go out with him. She has refused because he is a player and that’s the last thing she needs. At the start of a health convention she is heading she finds out her ex is the other headliner. Xavier steps in to be her boyfriend. Now he has his chance to change her mind.
The Wildfire Lake series is a journey of sisterhood, second chances and love. It's more than a little heartbreaking to know that we've reached the end of the road with these three extraordinary women. However, in true Skye Jordan fashion, she saved the best for last. Swept Away is Chloe's story. It is the tale of a woman that from the outside seems to have her world together, yet the heartache and betrayal of her past continues to haunt her present. Xavier is the second chance she never thought she'd have until her past regrets return and threaten to swallow her whole. Sexy, sassy and irresistible make for an unforgettable romance. A bittersweet goodbye .
I think he and I could be something really special—if he wasn’t a player, and I wasn’t damaged. But he is and I am.

This is the third and final book in the Wildfire Lake series and I’m so grateful that I got to read an early copy thanks to @NetGalley
•
This series is quick and easy to read and I find these ones so hard to stop once you get going.
•
In this book we get to follow Chloe and Xavier. From the moment the girls arrived in Wildfire Lake, Chloe and Xavier have had a serious attraction to each other. But Chloe is trying to recover from a difficult upbringing and having her heart broken by her ex. She doesn’t feel like she is in a position to start anything new until she’s worked on herself. She is a real spiritual guru, having written many books, created an online program and running local yoga classes. But despite her beat efforts, she can’t deny what she feels for Xavier.
•
Xavier is the local cop in town and has been after Chloe since they first met. But she won’t even agree to a date with him, so they form a solid friendship while he patiently waits for her to be ready to give him a chance.
•
Chloes walls are so high, it doesn’t seem like Xavier will ever get over them, until something happens and they get thrust into a pretend dating scenario.
•
I did enjoy reading this one, but it felt a little rushed to me. There were some parts where I wish it had taken just a little more time to develop the relationship between Chloe and Xavier. I really liked their chemistry when they were together, the massage scene and the scene where Xavier does yoga were really fun 😆 I loved getting to check in on Laiyla and KT in this one too. Overall I really enjoyed the Wildfire Lake series and if you’re looking for a quick, easy, steamy romance series then definitely give this one a try.
Skye Jordan’s final book in the Wildfire Lake series did not disappoint! I have been anticipating the chemistry between Xavier and Chloe since they first met in an earlier book and was rewarded for my patience. Their story has twists and turns, friendship, steam, past and present heartbreak that ultimately leads to their happily ever after. I don’t want it to be the end. My only wish for this story was a small tie in of Chloe’s sisters but definitely did not deter from an excellent 5 star read!

I love Skye Jordan. There is something about the way she writes and her characters are always wonderful. This is Chloe’s story and she is not looking for love. I mean I felt she didn’t even want it if it was standing in front of her waving its arms. Xavier and Chloe have been friends but it’s a romance so come on your know there will be more!!!
Sure some of the scenario is the same… friends to lovers to soulmates… but that is ok. The way Skye writes it is worth the read.
I love the relationship between Xavier and his teenage God-daughter, Piper.
You can count on Skye Jordan having hot men, strong women, sweet romance and steamy sex scenes and all of that and more are part of this great story. A must read!

I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
I’ve really enjoyed this series, and I’ve been patiently waiting for the conclusion, I’ve been desperate for Chloe and Xavier’s story, it had so much potential. Hot cop Xavier Wilde, who has been lusting after Chloe Hart since he first laid eyes on her a year earlier, has been friend zoned by her. She friend zoned him because of her own issues, issues that have arisen primarily because of her ex, Bodhi, who cheated on her, and sadly she decided that men and relationships would not be a part of her foreseeable future. I absolutely loved Xavier, he was sweet, funny, patient, and oh so loveable. However, I didn’t warm to Chloe as much (maybe because she wouldn’t give Xavier a chance). She did redeem herself somewhat in some of her actions, but for some reason I still found her a bit whiny. The story was fun and flirty with some wonderful characters keeping the hot cop on his toes. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.
I actually really enjoyed this book!
I enjoyed the rich cast of characters and found them unexpectedly likeable - particularly Xavier!
I appreciated the strength that Chloe showed after moving on from a bad relationship, but most of all the drive and passion she showed towards her career!
A must read for fans of friends to lovers romance.
It is important to note this book is a standalone but is the third in a series so I think reading the other books first would definitely enhance the reading experience!
A solid four stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟
I was so excited to receive a complimentary copy of Swept Away. This is the 3rd book that could be read as a standalone. I've read all three, and liked them all equally. Skye Jordan has it all, romance, drama, chemistry conflict, friendships, and everything in between. I was super sad to see this trilogy come to an end, but I've just found my new "favorite" author. Keep them coming Ms. Jordan.
This was the third book in the Wildfire Lake Series, and it was awesome.
This is Chloe and Xavier's story. They have been dancing around romance since they met a year ago. Sparks always fly when they are near each other, but Chloe is determined to keep Xavier in the "friend zone." But when Chloe's ex shows up at her 10 day retreat, she doesn't know how she will face him and work alongside him. In steps Xavier with the perfect solution, pretend to date him for 10 days so it shows Chloe is off the market. But, when events in their personal lives come in between them, will they be able to trust in each other enough to live happily ever after?
I love these two characters and truly enjoyed their long overdue story. Great series, recommend you read it in order, just makes it that much better.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I received a free ARC copy of this book from NETGALLERY prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I have really loved this series so much. It is very much chick lit but also a really wonderful romance. Its about 3 women who meet during a tornado and bond for life. Now they all live in the same town while they help their friend find love, acceptance and a business that her grandfather left her. This is the last story in the series and features Chloe, who teaches Yoga in town and also runs events for the houseboat company her friend runs.
When she arrived in town she was just out of a relationship and met hot Xavier. But he is a bit of the playboy so she stayed away using her broken heart as an excuse. Now they have become friends while he still keeps dating everyone in town. That is until Chloe's ex comes to town for a seminar and Xavier steps in to save her and thats when the book gets really good.
This book was absolutely wonderful. It stands alone but I think its the best one. Chloe and Xavier as super wonderful together and I loved watching them be there for each other.
A great conclusion to the series. I love Chloe. Struggling to overcome past hurts while living her life to the fullest makes her so relatable. And Xavier. Hes always been one of my favorite characters. I especially love how he realizes the depth of feeling he has for Chloe and how his past with women wasn't as great as he thought. The chemistry between the two is sexy and steamy while the friendship is sweet. I'll miss all these characters.
5 Stars for this cute yet emotional romance!
This is my favorite book of the series. I just loved Chloe and Xavier! Chloe is just this free spirit and I couldn’t help but love her ... the way she talked to herself and truly believed that angels listened to her. Then there’s Xavier ... who wouldn’t love a hot guy in uniform, even though he was a playboy! All the ladies in town sure wanted a piece of him. I could just feel the pages burning when Xavier and Chloe were within a metre of each other.
I was a little disappointed in Xavier because even though he wanted Chloe for the last year, he didn’t stop dating ... but I guess that made it all the more realistic. I loved the banter between all the characters. Then the side story of Xavier's goddaughter Piper, is a very realistic view of what teenagers face today. I really wanted to give Piper’s mom a swift kick ... I just thought she was very selfish. That’s the sign of a great book when a person gets emotionally involved in the story. This is a series that I just didn't want to end.
I received an early copy courtesy of Cygnet Books through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.
Chloe is a self-help guru and expert yoga teacher. She practices what she teaches - openness, honesty, and following your heart. She and her two best friends have been working towards a common goal of success in a small California town. She has built up a strong business and is just about to host a large conference at the marina and conference center her friends have built. One of her other close friends, Xavier is a local police officer - and her complete opposite. Xavier has been very interested in Chloe since they first met, but she hasn't been interested in moving beyond the friend zone. As a result, he's been hooking up with other women in town while he was "waiting" for Chloe.
When Chloe finds out that her ex is the main attraction at the conference, Xavier takes a chance and pretends to be more than friends. Chloe doesn't want to do it - but she caves in - and quickly their fake relationship is anything but fake.
Overall, I liked the themes of putting your heart before your ego - and not allowing others to dictate your self worth. I didn't love the issues related to Xavier's sex life while he was "waiting" for Chloe. Obviously they weren't together in a relationship sense, but the amount of sex he was having while ostensibly interested in Chloe just didn't really sit well with me. If you are all in on another person - usually you aren't all that interested in others. It wasn't cheating per se - but it did make me doubt his actual commitment to Chloe. I also had mixed emotions about the final conflict in the book and its resolution.
This is the third book in a series - and I haven't read the other two - but I don't think you needed to. I think you would have had a better understanding of the female relationships - but otherwise - I think it is fine to start with this one.
Overall - I liked it - didn't love it.
I received this as an ARC from NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own.
I was fortunate enough to receive this through NetGalley. I haven't read a Skye Jordan book in some time so I'm glad I got this opportunity. I will say that this was the first book I read in this series and was able to follow along fine however now I NEED to read the first two because I loved all of the characters so much I want all of their stories. Xavier and Chloe are a bit of a slow burn with lots of resistance due to Chloe's belief that Xavier is a player only Xavier knows that he's only playing the other women in town until Chloe moves him out of the friend zone. Xavier's kind of perfect and he's a cop so all was right in my world while reading. lol Chloe is a badass in her own right. Business owner with multiple platforms and outlets only with a jaded heart from her ex. I loved their journey and once their relationship shifts from friends to lovers it's really sweet, a lot spicy and so much fun.
