It's a sweet little collection of short stories about a boy who is madly in love with his girlfriend. Izumi is jinxed--things keep falling on him, hitting him and flying into his face. His girlfriend, Shikimori, is very cute, but not only that, she's also extremely protective. I really enjoyed the slight bending of gender roles in this relationship and how cute both parties were.
Loved this manga, it was so cute and hilarious, about a boy constantly jinxed and his gorgeous girlfriend always protecting him. So great to see the woman being the protector and strong one, but I just loved how adorable their relationship, a great, fun and heartwarming manga.

This is an absolutely sweet and hilarious comic about a boy who is constantly jinxed and his very strong and cute girlfriend. Izumi is constantly in danger but luckily for him his girlfriend Shikimori is always there to protect him. Follow the hilarious and very endearing story about two high school sweet hearts and their adventures, and mostly Izumi saying how cute his girlfriend is. Seriously, this is such a fun story and the romance is sweet. Its so fun to see the relationship roles reversed with Shikimori being the stronger counterpart in the relationship while Izumi is the more soft one.

Wow this manga is the cutest thing ever! I love it so much. It’s just a bunch of short comics about the main characters and their relationship so it’s easy to pick up and put down without having to worry. But honestly like their relationship just makes my heart melt! If you’re in need of some
Cheering up and something cute this is the manga for you!
I’m a sucker for Slice of Life kind of stories and with the premise of a cutie girlfriend who has a dark side, caring for her sweet but very accident prone boyfriend, I was sold. And I got exactly what I wanted.
The story started out as a serial on twitter and the first few chapters reflect this: they’re quite short and follow very similar formulas. As the chapters go on however, the author seems to grow more comfortable with their characters and explores more. The art is gorgeous and the author uses it well to emphasize the difference between Shikimori’s sweet and extra-cool sides. One thing I really enjoyed was that Shikimori was always herself, despite having those two sides to her, and it never felt like she suddenly became an entirely different person at the drop of a hat.
After finishing Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie 1, I want more and I really hope to see the continuation of this really sweet series translated in english!

We follow Shikimori and her boyfriend Izumi throughout a series of events that show a different side to Shikimori's personality. I loved the drawing style and enjoyed it very much in black and white, but must admit however much I enjoyed the concept of the graphic novel I did find that after a while it did get a bit samey, and was willing something really exciting to happen.
This manga is about couple whose life is full with cute little situations. It was really cute. Both, main characters were cute. Art style was also good too.
