I absolutely love the parent manga to this, and have read it numerous times. Because of that, I gave the "Slime Diaries" a chance. And I hated that spin-off. I just couldn't get past how very different the art was and the story was boring to me. So when I saw this spin-off I was more hesitant. But then I noticed that while the artist was different again, the author was the same so I figured I'd give it a shot. And this one was much better than the other. While the art is still obviously different, this story was definitely better.

While told mostly about one girl, it actually revolves around three. All of which were sent to Tempest by their respective Demon Lords to gather intel on the new country and the lord there. They all seem to also be a little...uh...special in the head and quickly forget the reason they're there while they enjoy everything that city has to offer and trying to find jobs so that they can actually stay there a while. It was a fun enough read, and one I don't think will get as serious or exciting as the parent. Still, I would keep reading it.

The story is good. Art style is good too. It has potential, so I hope development will be good. I will be waiting for second volume.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange of an honest review.

This is a spinoff manga to the series isekai that I have not read yet . It's a fantasy world were a slime called Rimuru established a kingdom for all the monsters. Our story is about three characters who came from others demon lords in order to infiltrate Tempest. They are led by Phos a fox girl whom we discover with her this odd fabtastic world, then we met the other two demon girls Stella and Nemu.

I think it's better to read the series first in order to be able to enjoy all the story. This book was intersting and entertaining.

This was such a cute read! I haven't read That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime before but I'd heard lots of good things about it so I was looking forward to diving into this.

There were many scenes which were pretty cute and had me giggling, I think it's a great little introduction to the main story too as it shows so many different characters, will definitely be checking it out at some point.

I'll be putting a full review up on my website by the end of the week and updating this with the link then, but thank you Kodansha for the opportunity to read this!
