On the whole I enjoyed this book. I did find it confusing at first because chapters are written from different characters viewpoints. Later on in the book it all came together and there is a twist at the end. My reason for the 3* is the confusion I felt thru a good part of the book. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.
A smart and original psychological thriller telling the story of a dangerous gold digger and the police officer hit on her heels. Highly recommended!

This book was a bit predictable and formulaic but it’s very engaging and the characters are like able and fun enough that it keeps you sucked in and turning pages through the plot. Solid 3.
This is a great read - if a little far fetched at times - with some fabulous characters. A few twists along the way makes this an enjoyable fast paced thriller.
An excellent psychological thriller I will leave you on the edge of your seat until the last page. I highly Recommend this book for all that enjoy a strong female lead and a mystery.
Bethan Phillips has been planning on killing her wealthy husband for some time. But when an accident in Snowdonia is what ultimately kills Humphrey, Bethan needs to cover her tracks and pretend Humphrey is still alive and away on business. Because someone saw the accident. Someone saw Bethan leave Humphrey for dead. And if the police see cause to investigate his death, they just might find evidence of all the near accidents he's suffered recently...
I loved the premise for this novel, and found it an enjoyable read, if a bit scatty at times - the plot occasionally jumped, leaving me feeling I was missing a scene or bit of dialogue, and I found it hard to believe Humphrey had put up with Bethan at all given how horrible she was to him, but on the whole it was a well paced and original read.
Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher, who granted me a free ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
i really enjoyed reading this book, the characters were great and I really enjoyed going through the mystery. I had fun trying to figure out what was going on.
Kiss Me, Kill Me by Louise Mullins is an in-your-face thriller. I really liked the conflicting points of view between Bethan, Meagan, and DI Locke.
Bethan is ready to dump her rich husband - not a divorce mind you, she wants him dead. But she isn't really great at murder. He has had some accidents (manufactured by Bethan) but he always comes out unscathed. Finally, he is dead in a true accident that she didn't cause, but it looks bad for her. How will she explain away his accidents to the police?
DI Locke knows there is more than meets the eye when she dives into Bethan's story. But she can't figure out if Bethan is who she says she is or if she is someone else altogether. When Bethan is linked to a missing family, will DI Locke be able to sort out the truth and the lies?
Great book that really gets in your head. I really liked the character who were sympathetic and likable. Very good read.
A good and interesting read!
