Oh what a brilliant read this book is it is full of action from a young gang of boys to grown men who own The Manor.This book has had me gripped from the start praying for this and hoping for that,i won't spoil the book for readers but i thank the publishers,netgalley and of course Jessie Keane for a chance to review this book it is worthy of more than 5* as there is so much going on that keeps you gripped.

Who rules the Manor? Charlie Stone and his sidekick Terry Barton best friends since they were knee high to a grasshopper.

All Charlie wanted was a son to pass his empire onto and he got a daughter Milly. Charlie and his wife Nula decide to adopt and along comes little Harlan who is just a quiet boy from the outside inside his is the devil.

Knowing that one day Harlan will take over The Manor, he will make sure he gets what he wants and nothing not even family will get in way.

This is a fight for survival for Milly and Terry's daughter Belle.

I was totally gripped throughout and jesus my heart was in my mouth for most of it, I could not put this one down and was reading until the early hours I never wanted it to end.

I love all of Jessie's books but this one was just top notch highly recommended.

Terry and Charlie are best friends they own there own little gang from the age of 9 they pinch rob but as they get older Charlie wants it all .Terry has a girlfriend Jill . meet Nula who is in love with Terry and decides to lose weight to get him but she needs money to get a nose job so she goes to Charlie for a loan they end up getting married they have a daughter but Charlie wants a son in comes Harlan who should be called Damian .and Charlie wants it all power money not saying no more but this is just brilliant this author always pulls you in to the story and she definitely queen of crime readers going to love this
