You know when you had a thought few days and you need to unwind and you end up picking up a book that provides you the right distraction from your problems?? This book was everything I wanted and needed.

If there ever was a man who deserves the title THE SWOONIEST MAN, Aiden takes the cake. He and Abby had such a powerful connection and don't even get me started on the chemistry. I loved the easy way he fitted in her world. But what I loved the most was that he was willing to do anything and everything to keep her even if it meant letting go of his workaholic ways.

I read this in one sitting and was left with the cheesiest smile on my face. I'm looking forward to seeing how much trouble Cait can get herself into. She is a mystery I can't wait to uncover.

Abby and her sister received such a surprise after their mother's death, is it good or not?
As for Aiden, the mystery man - what's his secret?
I loved the chemistry between Abby and Aiden, this story had all the feels.
A heart warming beautiful story, both happy and sad. Break out the tissues, I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Thank you to @melissafoster_author for a copy of the book. This book is a feel good romance. From Abby’s and Aiden’s first meeting, you fall for them as a couple. Aiden is the perfect cinnamon roll hero and such a romantic at heart. I love the fun things they did together. I was frustrated at part with Abby with her stubbornness and wanted to shake her. With all of Foster’s books, I always adore all of the supporting characters and how much depth they bring to the book.

I have been looking forward to Aiden Alridge’s story ever since his introduction in This is Love. I fell in love with his character and wanted him to get his happily ever after. If ever there was someone who deserved happiness, he did. The sacrifices he made for his sister after the death of their parents demonstrated his selfless nature.

Aiden spends most of his time working, and his social life is non existent. His sister wanted him to relax and take a break, so she forced him to take a vacation. She provided him with a list of fun activities to take part in while on vacation. Aiden had no intention of spending three weeks relaxing while he could be working and plans to cut his vacation short. However, when he met Abby de Messiéres his plans to cut his vacation got squashed.

Abby returned to Silver Island to handle her late mother’s affairs. She knew she would inherit the family bistro and her childhood home. However, she never expected to gain a half sister and to meet the handsome stranger who would bring light to her life.

Sweet, heartwarming and romantic, Maybe We Will engaged me from start to finish. It was wonderful learning new things about Aiden, and I enjoyed getting to know Abby. Although they come from different circles, they made a wonderful couple. They had great chemistry. I loved how he believed in her, even when she didn’t trust her capabilities. Their relationship is not without its challenges, but they demonstrated their willingness to work things out.

Catching up up with characters from the previous books in the series and meeting new ones proved to be a delightful experience. Their camaraderie had me smiling throughout the story.

Narration

Jennifer Mack and Aiden Snow narrated. I am a big fan of Aiden Snow. He did a great job, which came as no surprise. I would listen to anything he narrated. This was my first time listening to Jennifer Mack ]and I thought she did an excellent job. Audiobook lovers would have a treat listening to Maybe We Will on audio.

Conclusion/Recommendation
If you enjoy contemporary romance, then Maybe We Will will make a great addition to your library.

N.B my review is for the audiobook.

I think this is the first time I've even given a Melissa Foster book less than 5 stars. It's not that Maybe We Will wasn't amazingly written and engaging... it just didn't capture me as intensely as the rest of her books have.

That said, I DID enjoy this book and may revisit it in the future just in case it was ME who was off while I was reading! I look forward to future installments in this series and others!

Still a must read book by a must read author!

What can I say about this book that I haven't already said previously. Melissa Foster is one of those authors that when I know a new book is out I read it and just know that it is going to rock my world. Maybe We Will is no exception, Aiden and Abby's story was heart-warming, but not without its problems. Aiden is a work-acholic and doesn't know how to switch off and have any downtime, that is until his sister Remi sent him to Silver Island with a “Let Loose list,” and Abby has returned to the Island along with her sister Deidre following the death of her mother to settle the estate - this brings an unexpected family secret to the surface in the form of a half-sister they neither Abby or Deidre knew about!

Maybe We Will is filled with good times, laughs and a few hurdles for our new couple to overcome, but in true Melissa style it is an engaging story that will suck you right in from the get go and have you rooting for them with every turn of the pages.

Another great spin off series to Melissa's every growing Love in Bloom series and I can't wait to return to the Island soon for some more heart warming stories.

Maybe We Will is the first book in the Silver Harbor series by Melissa Foster, however does have ties to many of her other series. While fans will enjoy seeing past characters make appearances, each can stand fine on its own. It is currently scheduled for release on May 4 2021.
When chef Abby de Messiéres returns to Silver Island with her sister to get their late mother’s affairs in order, she expected to inherit her mother’s bistro along with their childhood home, not to discover a half sister they never knew existed, and a handsome vacationer camped out on her mother’s patio. Workaholic Aiden Aldridge has been sent to Silver Island on a work-free vacation, armed with a “Let Loose list,” and ordered to get a life by the much-younger sister he raised after the death of their parents. After years of focusing on his sister’s well-being, he’s blindsided by his intense attraction to the gorgeous, free-spirited Abby. Aiden might not know much about chilling out, but he’s excellent at striking deals. He helps Abby with the restaurant in exchange for her help in tackling the items on his list. Sparks fly as Aiden and Abby work, and play, side by side. Intimate conversations lead to steamy kisses and undeniable passion. But there’s more to Aiden than Abby knows, and when the truth comes out, their new romance is put to the test, as the two find out if true love really can conquer all.

Maybe We Will is a book that offered a Aiden his happy ever after, which I have been waiting for. I liked the characters and the way they came together. I liked their families and how the community came together- using new characters and returning characters from previous books. This blend of newer characters and returning favorites will help new readers enjoy the read as much as long time fans. I did think it was a little heavier on the sweet and sappy conversations, and more predictable with the conflict, but maybe it is simply because I have read too many of Foster's books in too short a time. On the other hand, I really want to find out what happens with some of the secondary characters from this story. I want to see more characters find their love story and happy ending. I enjoyed the read, I just did not find it as engaging and all consuming as I normally find Foster's book. This could very well be because of how scattered my mind is lately, or that I need to take a short break and revisit Foster's books when I really need one.

Maybe We Will is a good romance, and I think fans will want to read it.

4.5 stars-MAYBE WE WILL is the first instalment in Melissa Foster’s contemporary, adult SILVER HARBOR erotic, romance series-a spin off from the author’s The Steeles of Silver Island which in turn is one of several spin offs from the author’s Love in Bloom series. This is twenty-eight year old, chef Abby deMessieres, and thirty-eight year old, investor Aiden Aldridge’s story line.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Aiden and Abby) MAYBE WE WILL focuses on twenty-eight year old, Abby deMessieres upon her return to Silver Island following the death of mother, a woman who struggled in the years following the death of her beloved husband. The reading of the will revealed a few surprises for Abby and her sister Deirdra but Deirdra continues to struggle with her mother’s emotional fall-out since the death of their father, and offers her share of the family owned Bistro to our story line heroine. Meanwhile, Abby reconsiders the direction of her life including reopening the restaurant that held many family memories, memories and reminders of what was and what will never be. When a stranger offers to help reinvigorate the once thriving family owned business, Abby finds herself falling for a man who is only in town for a very short time. Enter investor Aiden Aldridge. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Abby and Aiden, and the potential fall-out as Aiden’s secret is about to be exposed.

Aiden Aldridge raised his younger sister after the accident that took the life of their parents but Aiden never took time for himself and in this, Aiden’s sister Remi, sends her brother on a month long vacation with a bucket list of to dos, in an effort to give her brother a chance at a real life. Aiden never expected to lose his heart to our story line heroine, heart that sits precariously on the edge of cliff when his secret is discovered.

The relationship between Aiden and Abby begins as a ‘chance meeting’ wherein Aiden is found camping out on Abby’s mother’s front door. Claiming he liked the view, Aiden would begin a slow seduction of our story line heroine, a seduction that is met with an equal attraction between Abby and our story line hero. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

As per Melissa Foster’s style of writing, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful and familiar secondary and supporting story line characters, many if not most of whom were introduced in the a number of the author’s other series. The camaraderie between characters is fun, fresh and feisty-you always feel like a part of the family when it is their turn to say goodbye.

MAYBE WE WILL is a story of family, friendships, relationships and love; a story of secrets, lies, history and acceptance. The premise is heart warming and emotional- I guessed the twist within the first few pages of the book; the romance is seductive; the characters are energetic, sassy and real.

If you have not traveled to Silver Island, then you are missing out. Silver Island is a wonderful community where the residents look out for each other, protect each other, and love each other. Abby has returned after her mother passes away and realized that everything she was running away from is everything she wanted, including re-opening her father’s bistro. Aiden has come to Silver Island for the first time as a forced vacation. His “Let Loose List” from his sister has many items that he has never done but when he meets Abby, he knows that he wants to do everything on that list and more with Abby.

Aiden is an extremely wealthy man with a heart of gold while Abby is a dreamer. Their lives should be leading such different paths that they never should cross but when they come together it is how life should be. Their lives just make sense when they are together, they hardly know each other but after one breakfast they share their lives, dreams, and heartaches. I love Aiden’s attentiveness to Abby’s need to find her own way in life and the way he offers her help with the business knowledge he has. Abby takes Aiden’s structured life and shows him how to let go, how to have fun again, and how to live for himself.

Melissa Foster has brought the characters and the island to life. I want to go hang out at Silver Island. I want to eat at Abby’s bistro.

Maybe We Will is the first book in the Silver Harbor series. This one is Abby and Aiden's story. As with all of Ms. Foster's books, this one was filled with fun characters and sexy times. I really enjoyed Abby and Aiden's romance. I would love to have Abby's cheery outlook on life. Sometimes it's hard to keep that positive and forgiving outlook. Aiden was just the sweetest and most loyal guy anyone could find. I loved his need and willingness to help those that who were important to him. I loved the idea of the Let Loose List that his sister Remi gave him. His relationship with his sister was really cute.

Along with the sweet romance, the relationship that develops between Abby, Deirdre and their half sister Cait was a favorite part of the book. In fact, I can't wait to read Cait's story later this year! This can be read as a stand alone and it's one I highly recommend.

When Abby's mother passes away, she and her sister find themselves back at Silver Harbor to figure out what to do with the house and family restaurant. As a chef Abby feels she can bring the struggling restaurant back to life, with the possibility of settling in Silver Harbor for good. Upon meeting financial guru Aidan, he offers his help as long as she helps him with his bucket list of relaxing and fun things to do during his vacation. Sparks ignite as they spend time together, but how will Abby react once she finds out a secret Aidan has kept from her?

This was a good read and I love that Abby is a strong and independent woman who isn't looking for and doesn't need a man by her side. Aidan is a workaholic and is taking a step back from work to relax and let loose. They weren't looking for love but it found them. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Thank you Netgalley and Montlake for the opportunity to read this book.

I love Melissa Foster's writing and was excited to jump into a new series. We had some old friends pass by in the story which was exciting for me. But I loved Abby and Aiden's story. Their chemistry was at an all time high, they had no choice but to fall. That pull had them tied. I loved it! The romance had me smiling and my heart beating with behind closed doors moments.

Maybe We Will has the romance, but there are some twists that will be thrown your way. And it has you wondering what these two will do next. Secrets unfold and we get into more of the reasons than the whys. I loved this story and great book to get your hands on for the week.

Wow, when Melissa's characters talk, she finds them their perfect match! What a great beginning to a new series, I'm excited to read more in this one! 5 silver stars for this one!

Here we meet Abby, tired of her fast paced life, she returns home to Silver Harbor after her mother passed away. When she see's their families restaurant, though run down, she decides this is her calling. While there she see's a man, Aiden, sitting there. She informs him that it is private property, and from there the sparks fly!

Aiden has been exiled to Silver Harbor by his sister to take a month long break from work, he see's the restaurant and decides to make an offer on it. While sitting there he meet's Abby, and he's immediately taken with her and realizes he'd give her the world.

Read along and enjoy their story as the two embark on crossing things off Aiden's list given to him by his sister!

***3 Stars***

I typically love this author's books, at least the series that I do follow because if you know this author, you know she is a prolific writer and I seriously do not have enough waking hours to keep up with all of them.

But I decided to give this one a go since it is the start of a new series (though it does have connections to the others out there) and the thing with this one for me was that I honestly loved Abby and Aiden and want to delve deeper into who Deidra and Cait are, but despite liking all the characters and liking how things played out, this book just couldn’t hold my attention for longer than a few chapters at time.

I don’t know if it was the fact that there was so much going on, which I understood since this is a first in series, so there is a lot of information to get out ~ especially when it comes to the sisters, or what, but it just took a little more effort than normal for me. So, overall, it was still a good read and has me looking forward to getting to know Deidra and Cait a whole lot more as the series progresses.

This was the perfect book to break my readers block! From the onset I loved the main characters of Aiden and Abby. Add in the othe interesting characters, the beautiful scenery of Silver Harbour I want to know where I can get my ticket to vacation there. Ms Foster writes strong characters that show strength, vulnerability and humor.

I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley for my voluntary, honest review.

Maybe I will fall in love with Aiden. No there’s no maybe, I fell absolutely in love with Aiden. He is the perfect book boyfriend or any day boyfriend. He was sweet and sexy and romantic. I loved that he let Abby reach her dreams by being by her side and not holding her back.

This was an insta-lust romance that was steamy and light on the angst. I did love that Melissa gives her characters depth with her in detail back stories. My only issue is sometimes there was a little too much detail and parts dragged on.

This was a sweet and sexy romance that will put that smile on your face. I was excited for a new series that intertwined with her other series and characters I love and can’t wait for more in this new series!

Maybe We Will by Melissa Foster is the First book in the Silver Harbor Series. This is the story of Aiden Aldridge and Abby de Messiéres.
Aiden is a workaholic who has raised his sister after their parents death. Which all of this has lead Aiden to Silver Island with a to do list called 'Let Loose List'. Abby and her sister come to Silver Island
to settle their mother's affairs. But she starts to find more than she bargain for..especially in Aiden.
This was a really good page turning read. Ms. Foster is one of my favorite authors to go to when in need of a good read.
