Abby and Aiden are quite possibly the cutest couple ever! Both have been through so much individually that it makes them finding each other so much sweeter. Back in the incredible world of Silver Island - Melissa Foster creates magic as Abby and Aiden find each other and redefine their dreams together. Not only is Maybe We Will a love story between Abby and Aiden, but a love story between sisters and a community that truly values what is important… People. This story is equal parts escapism and inspiration. Love, compassion and support are always common themes in all of Melissa’s books. And I love her stories all the more because of it!
One of my very favorite things about Melissa’s books are the cast of characters. Whether old friends from previous stories or new ones we are just meeting… the Hero or Heroine or side-kick. All of them are always well developed, interesting and relatable.
Maybe We Will is full of charm, romance, sweet, zany and fun characters, family drama, humor and at the root of everything… love.

Maybe We Will is a what I would call a fairytale romance. Aiden was the perfect boyfriend. You could tell he had fallen at first site and he was completely smitten with Abby. They way he pursued her was very romantic.

Abby is a bit of a dreamer. She was just as smitten of Aiden, and he completely swept her off her feet. She reminded me of a woodland creature singing and twirling in the forest. These two were perfect for each other.

Everything about Aiden and Abby falling in love was more fairytale than real life. While some readers will love that just as much, others might prefer a bit more realistic approach. I will admit to being somewhere in the middle. I do love a good fairytale romance, but I also need some reality to it as well.

This did have an amazing setting and a lot of wonderful side characters that added to the romantic feel of the story. It sounds like some of these side characters may have a book of their own. I believe this is my first book by this author and I am intrigued to see what some of these other couples books were like. I'm curious if all books have this fairytale flavor.

Thank you NetGalley, Melissa Foster and Montlake for the ARC of Maybe We Will. This is my personal review.
I absolutely love when I find a first book in a new series that leaves me craving for the next one to come out. This is definitely one of those books.
Abby and Aiden are meant to be together. The romance is there and the slow build up in the story is done perfectly. I felt a connection with all the characters in the book.
The family, drama, struggles, friendships, love, and it all is intertwined with the romance that is there.

This book at first did not give me that typical Melissa Foster book feel but I think this book was much better. This start of a new series starts out with a lot of family drama and pain leaving me hoping for a positive. After a chance meeting with Aiden, Abby learns that they have more in common than what one would think. The pair have had struggles with life but give you the meant to be together feel. This was an emotional read while heart warming at the same time while setting with for more books in a series with the other characters while also allowing the reader to reconnect with characters from other series. Overall, this was a good read that I enjoyed from the start and I would recommend to others.

This is a beautifully written small town romance with an instant connection that is ignited from their first encounter. The story evolves around a family dealing with the death of their mother that they lost long ago to alcoholism and now sudden death. Finding they have a new sibling, a restaurant in disrepair in their seaside town, and decisions about their lives changing once again, has Abby returning home to salvage what she can. Meeting Aiden, their undeniable chemistry, remembering their sad pasts, and their love of family make the book so enjoyable and heartwarming. The “To Do List” that Aiden’s sister insists he do on his vacation on Silver Island because he is a workaholic makes Abby and Aiden’s connection unbreakable except for stubbornness. The emotional ride questions their individual trust, truth, love, and family. Great, heartwarming book and I loved the visit to Silver Island. Can’t wait until the next one!

4.5 stars - Can I just first say, I’m so happy to read a contemporary romance about adults who act like grown-ups! So many authors write supposedly grown-ups who act like college students at best. Thank goodness, I never find that sort of foolishness in a Melissa Foster romance.

This is Aiden and Abby’s story and it made me smile so many times. Aiden needs to learn how to lighten up and have fun, and Abby needs to feel treasured and appreciated. They both are just what the other needs. It’s a wonderful read, worth staying up all night to finish! Ms. Foster has done it again, and all I want is MORE!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Simply amazing. I love the heart that Melissa Foster puts into her books. The love that Abby has for everything and everyone is beautiful. The way she talks about her memories really brought them alive. Reading them it was as if I was there, the good, the bad, and the painful. Her total and immediate acceptance of Cait was moving and I loved how they both grew together. Aiden was amazing. He loved so hard. That man is sheer perfection, his heart is so in tune with Abbys it brought me to tears more than once. He gave her everything she didn’t even know she needed.
Abby talks about the magic of her father in the restaurant, the love between her parents and how they touched the community, yet she is the embodiment of all their best bits and it shines through in everything she does and how other respond to her.
A fantastic start to this series and I can’t wait to read more.

So much love, laughter and kindness on Silver Island. This community will have your back through thick and thin.

Abby deMessieres has broken up with her boyfriend and quit her job as a chef in New York City in order to return to her birthplace of Silver Island to run the family restaurant, The Bistro. Her mother has recently passed away and now it is time for the deMessierres sisters to decide what to do with with the business. Deirdra wants to sell off the restaurant. Even after seeing the rundown condition of the beachfront restaurant Abby still wants to reopen it. She has so many wonderful memories of the times she spent there with her long-deceased father. She believes his magic is still alive in the restaurant and Abby wants to rekindle it. The morning Abby stops by The Bistro to check it out she finds a man sitting on the patio outside of the restaurant having coffee and pastries. What? What is this guy doing here?

Aiden Aldridge has been sent to Silver Island for four weeks to rest and relax by his younger sister Remi. No work! Only play! Remi insisted that he go, set it up and even included a "to-do" list for him. With picture proof! Ride a bicycle, rest in a hammock, make a friend, go skinny dipping... Wait! What? Skinny dipping? He loves Remi but she has gone too far with that last item on this list. Aiden raised Remi after the death of their parents. He acted as her career manager and protector until her marriage. Aiden is a bona fide workaholic. Four weeks off is too much. Until he meets Abby deMessieres. His sister wants him to "get a life." Maybe Abby is the one to make him live life fully.

Maybe We Will by Melissa Foster is the first book in her Silver Harbor series. The two main characters in this story are both workaholics. Finding each other makes them both realize that there is so much more to living a good life. I really enjoyed reading along and seeing their relationship develop. For a workaholic Aiden sure has a romantic streak a mile wide. The scene where he sets up a picnic at the local winery made my heart go pitter-patter at such a romantic gesture. Of course these two have their conflict but I feel the resolution was written perfectly. Once again Ms. Foster has entertained with lots of romance and love.

Can secrets destroy love?

I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review.

I honestly feel like I’ve read Melissa Foster books before; in a good way, although I haven’t. Her writing is so easy to read and this book was the little fairytale I didn’t know I needed in my life.
Following the death of their mother, Abby and Deidra come back to the island they grew up on to settle her estate. They inherit her beautiful house and also the bistro their Dad opened when they were young. What they were not expecting was to find they they also had a third sister who their mother had been forced to give up when she was a baby. Now the three of them are faced with a choice, accept a $3m offer for the Bistro and move on, or try to revamp it and make something of it. Abby is the most sentimentally attached, and as a chef herself determined to bring the bistro back to its former glory. Her sisters; although dubious, agree to support her in her dream.
Aidan is a complete workaholic, and his younger sister; whom he helped raise, has sent him to the same island to take a month long vacation where he is not allowed to work and needs to tick off the items on a ‘Get Loose List’ she wrote him. He is all but ready to give up and return to the mainland and his normal life when he meets Abby and realises he can help her dreams come true.
Obviously, this is a super predictable steamy romance book. But that is exactly what I loved about it. It is the perfect holiday read or if you’re after some uplifting escapism to get us through this pandemic! I fell in love with both Abby and Aiden and didn’t want the story to end. I was really happy when I found at the end of the book a list of other books Melissa Foster has written involving many of the same characters. They will be added to my ‘to be read’ list ASAP!

If you are a fan of Melissa Foster, you will love this book. It was a sweet contemporary romance between Abby and Aiden. The book is starting a new series n Silver Island. You now while reading it that is being set up to be a series because the side characters have major roles in the book.

Melissa Foster intertwines so many characters from her various series that it always feels like re-visiting long-last family members when reading a new release of hers and this felt much the same way. If you're looking for a sweet and swoony romance that makes your heart beat faster and gives you all the "feels" grab Maybe We Will! I've been patiently waiting for Aiden's story because I always felt that he lost so much of his life taking care of Remi even though he had no regrets doing so. Abby appears in his life and becomes his perfect partner and soulmate. Ms. Foster captured all the beauty of Silver Island that we've come to know and love and added another dimension with Abby's Bistro. I always enjoy the friendships that evolve in her books and the spirit of friendship and community among groups of people who aren't necessarily related but become family through their interactions. Aiden and Abby's love story is just that -- a beautiful love story that you won't want to end! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

Maybe We Will is the first book in the Silver Harbor Series and follows the story of Aiden & Abby. Abby is in a rut and finds herself returning home with her sister after their mom passes away. While getting their mother’s affairs in order, they quickly discover a secret their mother has been keeping…they have a sister they never knew about. On top of that, someone wants to buy their mother’s bistro and Abby isn’t having it! That brings us to Aiden. Aiden is the very definition of a workaholic and only took some time off because his little sister made him. Aiden is about as clueless as they come when it comes to taking a time out and finds himself completely blindsided by Abby. Sparks fly between Aiden and Abby instantly and the more time they spend with one another, the deeper they fall. Sounds perfect right? Well, Aiden is keeping a pretty big secret from Abby and only time will tell if Abby will be willing to forgive and forget…

Maybe We Will is a fun, sweet, and sexy read. I fell for the characters instantly and couldn’t wait to dive further into their story. I loved the relationship Abby had with her sister Deirdra. They were total opposites, but you could tell they’d do anything for each other. Finding out they had a secret sister, Cait, definitely through them for a loop, but one moment with Cait and you just knew she was the perfect fit. I really enjoyed the time we spent with Cait and Deirdra and hope to see those 2 ladies in future books.

That brings us to Aiden. Aiden is literally the perfect guy. His one flaw, he’s a workaholic. He doesn’t know what sitting still and relaxing means. But once you get to know Aiden, you realize he is the absolute sweetest guy ever. He loves big and he loves hard and it doesn’t hurt one bit that he’s the alpha type.

Together, you might think that Aiden and Abby are an unlikely pair. Abby is a dreamer and a free spirit. She wears her emotions on her sleeves and isn’t afraid to fight for what she wants. The sparks between Abby and Aiden were on the scene immediately. I loved watching these two try to figure things out and couldn’t wait to see how it would all come together in the end.

Maybe We Will is a heartwarming and sexy read. The characters are easy to relate to and fall for. Maybe We Will is well written, entertaining, and paced well. This story is written with a lot of charm and heart. There’s some drama, but nothing over the top. And of course, you can’t forget the sweet and sexy romance that will leave you with a smile on your face and devouring every last word. I had a fun time getting lost in Abby and Aiden’s story and can not wait to see what else the Silver Harbor Series has in store for us next!

Maybe We Will (Silver Harbor, #1) by Melissa Foster
This is the first book in the series with plenty of old friends from other books...it's fun to catch up with everyone. This is Aiden and Abby's story. She has come back to Silver Harbor to settle her late mother's affairs, he has been sent to Silver Island on a work-free vacation, armed with a “Let Loose list,” by his younger sister he raised after their parents death. Her sister Deirdra and Abby find out they have a half sister. There is angst, anger, misunderstandings, laughter, tears, learning to trust, learning to relax, hard work, and plenty of steam to get to their very HEA.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Great world building Wonderful characters Tear-jerker Easy-to-read Page-turner Entertaining Romantic Steamy Funny Happily Ever After

This book was so entertaining. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and was involved until the end. The characters were complex and interesting. I found the story to be well paced and engrossing throughout the whole book. I was invested in the couple throughout the book and felt all the emotions through both the highs and lows of the story. If you want an entertaining and well written book this is it for you.

I really enjoy Melissa Foster's books, and this one is no different. I loved Remy's book, so I was really looking forward to Aidens' story. It did not disappoint!

When I saw a new cover from Melissa Foster, I knew I wanted to read it. I loved her Harmony Pointe series and Maybe We Will is a spin-off of that series. It is staged at a different location though: at Silver Harbor, where Abby and her sister Deidra have to decide what to do with their parents bar. After their father's death, years ago, their mother has been keeping the business afloat, while she incouraged her daughters to build a life of their own.

Deidra has become a successful lawyer and Abby is a chef at a fancy New York restaurant. But Abby is not happy and while sorting out her parents legacy she realizes she wants to try to revive her parent's restaurant. But the road to the re-opening of the restaurant is full of surprises: one being Aiden, the big brother of Remi (from This is Love-Harmony Point part 2) who is sent on a holiday by his sister.

Aiden is not the type of man to relax on a holiday. However, he promised Remi to try to fulfill her to do list, full of frivolous things as ride a bike, talk to a stranger and lounge on the beach. Luckily, he knows that his compagnon, Ben (yep, from Call Her Mine-Harmony Pointe part 1) will hold the fort, while he tries to relax.

When he meets Abby and learns that she is trying to revive the nice restaurant near the beach, Aiden offers his help. In exchange Abby will help him work through his to do-list.

In the following weeks Abby and Aiden learn a lot about each other. And Abby learns about the big sister, Cait, she never knew she had. And she finds out how the Silver Harbor community looks out for each other. And she finds out that Aiden may have not told her everything about his life...

Yet another wonderful story from Melissa about family, second chances and cute romance blossoming. It warms your heart. Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Hopefully the next part in the series will be about Cait or Deidra. Can't wait!

Abby is a chef and goes to her hometown, Silver Island, after her mother passes away. Abby along with her sister, find out they get the house, Bistro, and a sister. One morning she jogs to the Bistro and finds a handsome man sitting on the patio, eating breakfast. Aiden is a workaholic and is on a forced vacation from his sister, whom he raised after their parents were killed. His sister has made a list of things he needs to do to relax and he gets Abby to help him with the list. In return, Aiden helps Abby fix up the bistro. But when Abby finds out Aiden is helping more than he should, will she forgive him for it?
First in a new series but old friends appear in it. I really liked Aiden, he is very protective and has a big heart. Now Abby was ok but she really ticked me off. She jumps to conclusions and is very independent and gets mad over silly things. Romance and steamy.

This is book one in a new series by Melissa Foster and it is The Silver Harbor Series and it is Abby and Aiden's story and omg it just blew me away. Abby was a chef in a New York restaurant but after her mother's death she quit her job and decided to go back home to the island that she loved so that she can decide what to do next with her life. Abby and Deidra's parents owned The Bistro but things are now complicated as Abby wants to open the Bistro again and Deidra wants to sell it and then to complicate matters further they are informed that there mother had a daughter Cait when she was very young and her parents made her give up her daughter for adoption and there mother never went a day without thinking about her and loving books but when the sisters meet for the first time they except each other and support Abby's dream of opening the Bistro again. Aiden owns and invested in different companies and he also has a lot of real estate that he invests in and he had just put in a offer for the Bistro but when he meets Abby his hope life is turned on its head but what will happen when she finds out what he has done. Abby and Aiden have so much in common and as they get to know each other the connection and chemistry between them grows stronger with each day but what will happen when Aiden's vacation is over. Omg I absolutely love this book and it is a great start to a new series and I couldn't put this book down as I had to see what would happen next and I definitely wasn't disappointed and it was so addictive. There are twists and turns along with loss, hope, surprises, love and emotional situations that had me in tears and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by Melissa Foster who is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention from the first page to the last and her books are definitely worth reading.
I Voluntarily Reviewed an Arc Copy of this Amazing Book.
