A good series in a box set I had read some of the books separately but this was still a good set. The characters are all easy going along with the books from each one.
I read some of the books individually book separately and caught up on the box set. Just as always each book was cute and enjoyable. A nice Susan Hatler series.
I received an advanced copy of this series from the publisher through netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book is well written and the characters are described well. The pacing of this series is great. It is a very entertaining series. The friendships and the relationships are great. I will definitely read more books by this author in the future. I highly recommend this ebook series to anyone and everyone. This ebook series is in stores now for $9.99 (USD).
Loved the characters. Loved the writers sense of humor. Perfect summer read, couldn’t put the book down so enjoyable!! This was a bonus to get 5 books too!
This is a super fun read. I really enjoyed this one!
Many thanks to the author, the publisher, and Netgalley for my ARC. All opinions are my own.
#This is a collection of five novels, which I must say I found really enjoyable to read.
These stories are humorous, and certainly allow us the escapism we so desperately need right now.
I really liked the characters, and the couples worked brilliantly together. With their individual stories, and the unique ways their romances progressed really kept me invested in the story.
An enjoyable collection of books.
Such a fun collection of sweet romance stories. Susan Hatler is one of my go-to's when I want a clean story with humor and swoony kisses. These stories made me laugh out loud at some of the antics of the female lead character, and swoon over the men. You can read the stories one at a time at the end of a long day, but I bet you're going to find it hard to stop after the first one. I found it too hard to pick a favorite out of the 5 stories.
I received a complimentary copy from Hatco Publishing via NetGalley. All opinions expressed in my review are my own.
This book/collection was five nice, easily read and interesting stories. I liked all the characters, their interwoven lives and their ultimate HEAs with just the right amount of strife getting to their eventual happiness. It was my first time reading Susan Halter but I'll definitely look for more from her.
This whole series was a lot of fun. They were all clean novels with mild kissing. The characters were all a lot of fun. I liked how all the characters were intertwined in one story.
Million Dollar Date:
I loved this story. It was new and different but at the same time cute and traditional. I have read so many books by Susan and she never fails to succeed. All her romances are clean, with a full story no strings left untied. They are funny and have character building. What I mean by that is that both characters learn from their situations and are developed throughout the novel. I love how there are a lot of characters but it’s not overwhelming. This story had certain points that are exceptional and make you feel for the character. It was easy to connect and understand the characters.
This story follows Abigail. She had a really bad day learning that her friend’s pet rescue would close if she doesn’t get a donation of some sort. All the dos would go to the pound and not have that sunny, happy lifestyle any longer. She also has a date to get to. On the way there, she’s crying and speeding. That attracts the attention of a cop. That cop doesn’t give her a warning instead of giving her a ticket and taking some of her valuable time which he could have used in getting dressed. Now she doesn’t have time, and she goes to her date with messy clothes, red-rimmed eyes, and a lot of dog hair. Turns out her date is that cop AND he is the person who decides where the city funds for charity could go. Abigail has a plan, to get him to give money to the rescue.

This story is absolute liss. It is captivating and intriguing. The characters are easy to imagine and a lot of fun. They both grow throughout the story. I usually like having both perspectives of the story but I enjoyed this book. I have enjoyed every book by Susan Hatler and this one did not disappoint.
The story follows Jennifer. She is an entrepreneur who wants to leave her day job and make her own business. After a long day of work, she heads over to a blind date that her friend set up only to find it wasn’t Whitewater Sushi and was Whitewater Rafting. Despite being a city girl with the only memory of nature being a bear almost eating her, she continues on the journey with her friend, her friend’s date, and her date, Dylan. He turns out to be super adventurous due to a sickness that almost took his life. Even though the first date didn’t go as planned, they go on another one. And start enjoying themselves. But they still have insecurities about their relationships and themselves.

Novel: The Date Next Door
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I enjoyed this story a bunch. The starting gives enough background but doesn't take too much time. The actual story starts soon and doesn't waste time. Every part of the story was fun and didn't seem boring or unnecessary. The characters were wonderfully built and easy to imagine. I liked how the story developed and progressed. All in all, it's a great story for anyone to enjoy.
The story follows Hannah. She's moved in with her best friend after jumping around a lot. She just got a promotion in which she has to sign a client soon or else she'll lose her job. After she moves in, she confesses to her best friend that she had a crush on her brother. Her best friend then lets her know that the guy will be moving in next door. To make matters worse, he comes in right after.

This story was so much fun. I loved how the heroine evolved and grew through this novel. I want to read all the books in the Date series. The story was intriguing, inspirational, and exciting. It is devoid of mature scenes and language. I love how the hero helps the heroine grow.
The story follows Lucy. Lucy is done with the chilli pepper life where no man is stable. She follows recipes to the word. Then, in an attempt to cook, she almost burns her house down and meets a firecracker, the firefighter, Jake. He wants to go out with her but she refuses, instead of taking his offer to teach her how to cook.

Title: Fashionably Date
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this novel a lot. The characters were complete and realistic. The heroine had flaws and insecurities but was able to overcome throughout the novel. I enjoyed the plot. The story developed and progressed well. All the events were connected and felt in sync. All in all, I loved this story. It is now one of my favourites from Susan!
The story follows Missy Peters, ex-supermodel turned boutique owner. She believes in the motto “Look good, feel good.” She’s been burnt by a cheating rascal who destroyed their relationship by cheating on her with the maid of honour. She runs into Nick at Courtney Carmichael’s coffee cart, the best coffee place in SF. He saves her when she is about to fall. He also saves her when she runs into oncoming traffic to save a puppy. After those two instances, they decide to walk and talk. There is an undeniable spark. That is until Nick proposes that they work together and cross-promote.

Sadly these weren't chicklit like I thought they'd be. I found these to be syrupy sweet. Not my cup of tea I'm afraid, but thankyou to Netgalley for my ARC in return for my honest review
I’m becoming obsessed with Susan Hatler’s stories. This set like her other books is so sweet and such a good read. I love all her characters and love that they make an appearance in all of the stories. These books are the perfect read for when you want a quick story with a good plot and a happy ending.
I received an ARC from Hatco Publishing through NetGalley for an honest review. This is a set of five books and after reading the first book and I found myself chuckling and sometimes really laughing, it was really the best medicine, Many are having Covid fatigue, election fatigue, and it isn't quite Christmas and a Christmas movie sometimes is nice but just didn't seem to be the time yet for overload. Along came this series and it was such a pick me up, lifted my spirits, and moved me forward in my own journey.
It was amusing to see the couples, I thought mismatched, but they seemed to make it work. Sometimes with many do-overs but they each knew there was something special there. This is the first I have heard of Susan Hatler and her books, and I think, like the books, sometimes things are just meant to be and this was my time to discover Susan Hatler's books. I was reading the books at work on break and people wondered why I was laughing and I told them about the books. If you need to get out of the 2020 fatigue, give this series a try, laughter is the best medicine and these books will make you laugh.
