I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

The Corisis family is a family saga that is always intriguing. Emotionally from all sides. I always pick up the next book Ruth Cardello writes since each one is as good as the last.

HE SAID ALWAYS reconnects us with the Corisi and Romano families, and it was nice to see where their lives have taken them. This is Gian and Teagan’s story, and it was hot from the moment they met. She doesn’t know the real reason he or his niece ended up at her print shop, but she knows she doesn’t like it since she has a lot of secrets to hide.

Gian and Teagan are good for each other. They give each other balance, answers when they have doubts, and are more alike than they realize. Their chemistry is off the charts, and she can hold her own with his family and even gets a different perspective on her own relationship with her parents.

The story has heartwarming moments as well as some deserved angst. I like that the story is told by Gian and Teagan in alternating chapters and how their trust builds slowly. HE SAID ALWAYS has a terrific HEA and nice closure. This is a sexy, lovely romance. I look forward to reading more books in this series.

I love Ruth Cardello and was excited for another book in the Carisi world. Gian and Teagan were a lot of fun. I was rooting for them from the beginning. I can't wait for the next book!

Enjoyed this sexy, fun and action-packed adventure filled with interesting and engaging charters, witty dialog, heart racing twists and thrilling passion. An edge of your seat emotional roller coaster from beginning to end.

I loved the storyline and the characters were brilliantly developed with great personalities.

This was a good read although I have to say it took me a while to get into the story and figure everything out. That being said I’m glad I persevered because it was quite enjoyable. I’m looking forward to reading more in the series.

For me, this wasn’t a favorite of mine. It was cute at times, which I enjoyed. But I felt a little bogged down by the enormous amount of characters and storylines in this book.

I have read this author's other books but for some reason, I really did not care for this story. One Gian felt he had the right to go and tell people who were adopted that they had a whole nother family like it was his right. Being adopted this is so wrong on just so many levels and also adopting children as well. This really set me off, but then after he initiates a meeting with Teagan who did not know who he was, he tells his brother he wonders if she is after his money? Gian throughout this story was just wrong on so many levels even when talking to his parents or the people who raised him as one of their own, I just did not like his character and it stayed with me throughout the book. Maybe others won’t see it that way.

Here's another Corisi story. Readers who have read the original series, sure would remember Judy, Dominic's daughter, (their relationship has flourished)., plays a major part in this story with her lost and found uncle, Gian Romano. Bets are placed, stories unfold, relationships flourish and love finds a way to bring two wonderful people like Gian and Teagan together.

This was a cute read but not really very memorable. I enjoyed the second book in the series much more.

He Said Always begins a new series about the Corisi family. I have read the previous series, The Corisi Billionaires and I was still confused by the volume of family/characters and their relationships in this book. That being said, I did still enjoy it. It was fairly low drama and no angst but not exactly fluffy. Nothing stood out as amazing, the writing was pretty good. If you're not bothered by a lot of secondary characters, or you have a better memory than me, and like a slight mafia vibe, you'll probably like this one.

Wow- Gian and Teagan provided just the right amount of spark, heat, emotion and drama. Great start to the Corisi series.

Gian stumbles upon Teagan as the boss of someone he's looking for, and boy is he instantly intrigued. It doesn't help that he expresses interest in Riley, her employee, but NOT for the reason Teagan thinks. Those Corisi secrets sure don't help this relationship get off the ground.

Teagan, however, is not all that she seems, either. On the surface, she's the owner of a t-shirt shop. But there is SO MUCH MORE beneath the surface. The push and pull an friction between Gian and Teagan explodes into fantastic tension, and in the end, they just work together and connect in an organic way.

Fast-moving and interesting plot development, complex and layered characters, and just all-around intriguing from start to finish.

I love Ruth Cardello and was excited for another book in the Carisi world. Gian and Teagan were a lot of fun. I was rooting for them from the beginning. I can't wait for the next book!

He Said Always by Ruth Cardello is the First book in The Lost Corisis Series. This starts the story of Gian and Teagan. We have met Gian before in the Corisis Billionaires but this is a standalone book I thought since the time laps of the last series. Gian is looking for the lost heir and doesn't need distractions like Teagan but he can't seem to stay away. I am a really big fan of this author and I do recommend this / her books.

Instant lust starts the relationship. Romance follows. Both have family drama going on. The family story is front and center. His family seems overwhelming since she is an only child. But the family story is interesting. Sprinkle in some hot sexy scenes to make this a fun story. I liked it.

This is my first read by Ruth Cardello, and I really enjoyed the storyline! However, it took me a while to work out the characters' relationship dynamics with each other. Hence, it was a bit tiring and confusing at first, I had to reread a few paragraphs to grasp the situation fully.  The Corisi and Romano families are interconnected with each other in an intriguing way, to say the very least. 

He Said Always is a contemporary, billionaire and friends to lovers romance. It's also book #1 in The Lost Corisi series, however it's a standalone. The Corisi family/characters are woven in and throughout many of Ruth Cardello's books, set in the billionaire world. I don't usually read many friends to lovers romance, I'm more of an enemies to lovers kind of reader. But, I really liked reading Teagan (heroine) and Gian's (hero) interactions and their relationship.

As soon as they meet, an instant attraction happens between Gian and Teagan. It was well going until a slight misunderstanding occurs. I loved their dialogues and Teagan is such a great character! And I really like how Ruth Cardello portrayed Teagan's character. she's smart and intelligent however, she can be seen as a loner. She not really interested in a serious relationship; Teagan is a bit skeptical when it comes to the matters of the heart. Gian is the prefect gentleman, he loves Teagan's company and he wishes that she could see how amazing she is. They are so adorable together. Gian is so understanding and he is aware that Teagan has certain trust issues, he doesn't push her. Oh boy, there were a few scenes that was through the roof! It was so steamy!! Gian certainly surprised me!! Overall, it's an interesting, fun and light hearted read.

Even since Teagan was a young teenager, she has a fondness towards technology. She's a computer and programmer wiz, creating facial recognition apps hidden away from the public eye. Gian is looking for someone; he's seeking information about the time when he met Teagan. He wasn't looking for any distractions, but the moment his eyes layed on Teagan, well that's going to be a bit difficult.

Wow, I can't say enough that I loved Teagan! While she is attracted to Gian, she won't be deterred from letting him know exactly what she thinks of his bet with his niece, Judy and how neither one of them thought of how their little escapade could affect the lives of others.

I really had to clap for Teagan as she went after Judy when she saw how sneaky Judy had been to hunt down and pretend to meet Riley. While it seems that Teagan was kind of cruel to Judy, it really was a wake up call to Judy that she was acting entitled and needed to do something with her life.

I loved that we see Abby and Dominic in this story along with all of Gian's brothers and their really messed up family dynamic. It helps to know the backstory and it is repeated so you can understand if you are reading this as a stand alone. But, half brothers through the mother, half brothers through the father, and then the brothers that he grew up with that are really his cousins!

So, much drama, personal growth, and a great romance! Hope that down the road we see a book with Judy as the heroine!

Gian makes a bet with his niece Judy Corisi (not the best idea) and heads to Boston to find the long lost twins. Teagan is best friends with one of those twins, but has a huge secret project to hide from the wealthy Romano/Corisi clan. This was a great story and the characters were well written. Can't wait to see what comes next!
