Thank you to Netgalley and HarperCollins UK, HarperFiction for the arc of Five Strangers by E.V Adamson.
4 stars- A great book and read, a fast paced, enjoyable read, kept me gripped and read within one day, i recommend a lot

This book had a shocker of a twist half way through. Once you’ve accepted the first twist you then go on a journey of twist and turns as the lives of the 5 strangers who witness a horrendously violent act are explored. So many more connections between them than there initially appeared to be.
I enjoyed the first half but was absolute gripped by the second half of the book.
A very clever plot with lots of interesting characters to get to know.

Brilliant
Loved the plot
The characters were very well written and the twist made me fall back in love with reading

I loved this. Manipulative and toxic friendship with murder on the side. You never really know who people are.

An interesting and original foray into the reliability of witnesses to what appears to be a straightforward murder.
This started really well, slowed down a lot in the middle I thought but the ending was very satisfying.

An exciting thriller that shows just how unreliable memories can be. A Valentine’s Day’s murder as seen in the eyes of many unreliable witnesses!

Addictive and Interesting.
Jen Hunter witnesses a horrific murder-suicide on Hampstead Heath one February alongside four strangers, she is compelled to find out what really happened that day. They all saw Daniel kill his girlfriend, Vicky – but can they trust their own memories?
Jen’s best friend, Bex, is worried about her. She knows Jen hasn’t always been the most stable of women. She knows about the lies. She knows why Jen lost her job at the paper.
There is more than what it seems.
I loved it. Characters were dark. I couldn't rely on any one.
Narration of the story is flawless.
Thanks to NetGalley and Harper Collins UK Harper Fiction for giving me an advanced copy of this psychological thriller.
