I liked this book so much that I implored my 17-year-old teenage son to read it. Let's just say that he did not share my enthusiasm for the book. That is too bad, the writing is so well done, subtly painting images with the words. I ultimately think, as he ages, that his view of the book will change. That difference of perspective that comes with age may make him see the book differently. What really happens on Pi's journey? Each reader's interpretation will be a bit different, based on knowledge and experience. With age, the book may be seen in a different light.
