Hunt by Leona Deakin is the third novel featuring Augusta, Marcus and Seraphine. It’s as enthrallingly written as her first two and just as tense! I’m still waiting for an announcement that they’re going to be made into a Netflix series as every time you pick one up, you feel as though you’re in the novel itself.

Hunt takes our story into an all- female cult and how they manipulate people., led to by the fearsome Paula.

Each novel features the three main characters: Dr Bloom the behaviourist, Marcus the ex-military man, and Seraphine the psychopath. The relationships between these three are humorous, threatening and thrilling!

Hunt is a fast paced and easy read and I’m dying for the next book already. I’ve not only read them on my kindle thanks to advanced copies via NetGalley but gone on to buy them in hard copy as I enjoy them so much.

Her first novel introduced us to functioning psychopaths, the second to mind and memory control, and this, her third, to cults and how they manipulate people.

Each novel features the three main characters: Dr Bloom the behaviourist, Marcus the ex-military man, and Seraphine the psychopath.

I loved this one just as much as the previous two – character development grows with each novel and the storylines are intriguing. It’s fast paced and easy to read and as I mentioned in my previous review, I am fully hooked on this series and look forward to a long literary life with these fascinating people!

I do suggest you read the novels in order so as to appreciate the full story behind these characters and their relationships to one another.

This is the third book in the Dr Augusta Bloom series and here Dr Bloom is asked by the Foreign Secretary to find his niece Scarlett who appears to have become involved with a feminist organisation called Artemis.
I have read and enjoyed all the books in this series and find the character of Augusta Bloom fascinating. I was drawn to the storyline of this one and found it to be as gripping as the previous two. I do however feel that there is something lacking with all the books in this series and find they become a little farcical towards the end. Despite this criticism this was still an enjoyable and easy read.

I love this series and thoroughly enjoyed this one. I love the cat and mouse game between Bloom,Jameson and Seraphine. Fast paced and exciting, this was an interesting insight into a cult and how it manipulates people. Highly recommended.

Darkest psychological thriller I've ever read.
Scarlett, who hasn't spoken to her family for ten years. The last they heard, Scarlett was getting involved with Artemis - an organisation dedicated to women's rights and the feminist movement, led by the charismatic Paula Kunis.But as Bloom learns more about Artemis, she's torn. Is this organisation everything it claims to be, or do they have a secret side and an alternative agenda? And if so, what has become of Scarlett?
I loved Bloom.
