Roar is a collection of short stories written by the wonderful Cecelia Ahern. The story's are all about women and their different lives, some are funny and some make you think. It's a good book for busy people who have a spare five minutes as they could read one story.
I would recommend this book

#netgalley was kind enough to grant me #chaptersamplers for two amazing books #roar #ceceliaaher and #themaidens #alexmichaelides I will be buying both of these books and can NOT wait to get further than five chapters in 😂🙈 #readerproblems #bookstagram #netgalleyreview #readersofinstagram #netgalleyreview #bookstagrammer

This was a short passage from Roar that Cecelia provided to her readers as part of her 12 Days of Christmas event in 2020.
I loved what I’ve read so far and can’t wait to get a full copy of this book and read the rest. She is one of my favorite authors.

A series of lovely uplifting stories. Each with a moral to help you think about your own life and actions.
For me, some of the stories were too short - or had the ability to be a much bigger story and I wanted to know more about the characters

While the stories were about women and them finding the positives or letting go of the bad, I didn't really connect with the stories. I don't feel that I can recommend this book although for those that like short stories, you may enjoy them. Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the sampler.
