I loved the blend of scifi and Shakespeare, it really works well together. The story had what I enjoyed about Romeo and Juliet and still made it, it's own. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and going through this story. I hope Mr. Mullineaux does more scifi twists.

I was really excited to read this one. Its blurb pulled me in and the whole concept of Romeo and Juliet in a sci-fi setting with murder investigations just sounded like the recipe for an amazing read!

Unfortunately, while the ideas were wonderful, the execution was not.

The characters fell flat and the plot was difficult to follow at times.

I really wished the story had been longer so that I'd have more knowledge of the characters and be able to empathize.

Overall, this was a good story with some good concepts but it could have been executed better.

I fear the beauty and genius of this book went over my head, or -dare I say it- it wasn't as good as it was advertised. I just can't say. And it takes a lot to make me speechless.
