Nicely written, feel-good st of romances.
If you like the bad boy made good, the bridesmaid falls in love etc and everything works out better in the end, then these romances are for you.
Low heat and different physical settings make each short story easy to read and fit for a YA audience.
I would like to thank Netgalley, Mills and Boon and the authors for an E ARC copy of this book.
I enjoyed the first book. We meet Kelsey and she is planning her cousin’s wedding. She is asked by her cousin’s mother to keep an eye on Connor McClane an old boyfriend of her cousin. She thinks he is coming to town to stop the wedding. As she and Connor become closer will the sparks fly and will the wedding go ahead. I enjoyed the development of Kelsey and how she found her feet and her own voice.
The second book was a nice read. Zoe is asked to be bridesmaid for her best friend Bella. She takes her duties very seriously but there is one slight problem, she likes the groom. Will she be able to keep her feelings to herself and will the wedding go ahead?
The third book I am afraid didn’t catch my attention. I found the characters not that believable and I didn’t like the way Emma was treated.
Three nice romantic stories.
After reading the first unfortunately the others felt very similar.
This made them an okay read but a bit boring.
Hence only two stars.
If I had read them separately instead of one after the other then the book would have more stars.
This was not what I expected but maybe was in a good way. Would recommend for a light easy read. Thanks for giving me the opportunity.
One Winter Wedding is a compilation of three individual stories, each of which features a new couple, and of course, as the title suggests - a winter wedding!.
I really enjoyed reading these beautiful, festive reads! the stories were each different, and each showed the individual authors own unique writing styles.
Fun, romantic, and full of festive cheer, these books were a delight to read!.
These were cute stories that really carried the vibe of weddings and unexpected love. Loved that the last two stories were set in Australia, a location I don't get to read about often, and the authors made the land come alive, especially Ms. Hannay. Really enjoyed the good vibe of love and HEA in there
This is a book of three stories, with a Winter wedding theme.
'Once Upon a Wedding' features wedding planner Kelsey and Connor, a private investigator. Kelsey has always felt second-best in her aunt's family. Planning her cousin Emily's wedding will prove her success to them and herself, but nothing is straightforward. Connor nearly took Emily from the family once before, and now he's back. Can Kelsey save the wedding? There is a gentle slow-building romance between Kelsey and Connor fraught with conflicts. Family secrets, misunderstandings and trust issues are all explored in this classical romance.
'Bridesmaid Says I Do' is a case of the bridesmaid falling for the wrong man, the groom. This book has an interesting setting and a sexy hero even though the romance is sweet. This has a rom-com plot, with the bridesmaid and groom falling in love. A recipe for disaster? Well, not if the bride's affections are engaged elsewhere. Good characters, a nice romantic plot and a happy ending.
'The Morning After the Wedding Before' is a sexy romance about letting go of your inhibitions and responsibilities, and living for the day. Emma and Jake are a likeable couple. Even though Jake seems in control, he soon finds that he's out of his depth.
This is a mix of romantic genres which will appeal to a wide audience of wedding romance lovers.
I received a copy of this book from Mills and Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review,
Kelsey may be a Wilson in name but she has always felt like an outsider, Now her cousin Emily is getting married and her bad boy ex is back in town, Kelsey has been put in charge of making sure he doesn't stop the wedding.
As Kelsey gets to know Connor she realises that there is more to him than the family thought and that maybe he really does have Emily's best interests at heart, but as the wedding draws closer will it be Emily or Kelsey saying I Do.
