Another easy and sexy read from this author! I know for a fact I’ll read this entire series as it comes out. It’s a classic Mills and Boon and I’m here for it.
A heart-warming story about opening yourself up to others and falling in love.
I enjoyed this book, but I much preferred the story and main characters in the first of the series; Meet Me in London.
I have not read the predecessor to this book so was keen to read Meet me in Hawaii. It’s is a really lovely well written story of both love and friendships. I found the main characters, Malie & Todd totally likeable and I honestly did not want the book to end as I couldn’t put it down once I started to read it. I will most definitely be reading Meet me in London but I am also excited for book 3 from the lovely Toffolo. I would recommend this book to my family and friends.
Many thanks to both netgalley and the author for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
I recently read the first book in this proposed quartet - Meet me in London. Four girls, all have suffered tragedy in their lives and are trying to move on. Each book focuses on a different girl, with the others appearing from time to time, so you feel you get to know them all as they try to make something of their lives and come to terms with what’s gone before.
This book is set in Hawaii, which comes to life, heat, sun sand and sea, perfect for a summer read it is so beautifully described. As well as her gift for description, the Author is equally adept at emotions. The love story between Todd and Mali is delicately drawn with their difficult pasts leaving them unable to commit. It becomes almost a dance between them - will they, won’t they, which leads to a climax that is ultimately satisfying. A lovely book to recommend.
Thanks to NetGalley and Mills and Boone for an ARC in return for an honest review.

The must have, feel good, summer read of 2021!! 🏖🍹🏝🥰
My third read of 2021 and this is definitely going to be one of my favourites of the year!
I was sucked into Malie's story from the first page and connected right away with the lovable characters. I adored the storyline and the way it was written. I just couldn't put this book down!
If you want a feel good, summer romance, pick me up then this is the book for you. It's one of those books where you're desperate to get to the end to see what happens but equally don't want the story to finish. I can't recommend reading this highly enough.

Malie was happy in her life. She was living in Hawaii, teaching people to surf at her godfathers surf school. She had amazing friends in Zoe, V and Lils. A new venture helping kids that weren’t having things too easy was about to start. Things were going great.
She was just finishing her surf before she had to be at a cocktail party, a party hosted by the foundation that was helping the kids she was to teach to surf, when she saw someone struggling in a rip current. With lifeguard training she went to rescue the man who turned out to be pretty hot by all accounts. In a rush to get ready she reluctantly turned and left the hot guy on the beach.
Little did she know that stranger would turn out to be much more than just a fool in a rip current.
After reading meet me in London I immediately had this book on pre order. When I saw it on netgalley I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to read it and give my opinion.
I really loved that it intertwined the characters from meet me in London and adding them into this story too. It was great to get to know Malie more and hear how she’s lived her life since the accident and since leaving Victoria’s story. It was good to hear more about Zoe too and I really hope there will be more books to get to know the whole friend group better.
I enjoyed the story and although it was an easy read that leaves your heart swelling with warmth and emoji hearts floating around your head.
I really enjoyed Meet me in London so I knew I would like this too, I was not disappointed.
Here we are in sunny Hawaii and boy did I feel as if I was there on those sunny warm beaches with the wind blowing my hair.
We focus on Malie who is one of Victoria's friends from the first book London.
Malie is a surfer and working at a surf school when she meets Todd.
The two form a bond who are both running away and scared of their past.
A lovely little read about friendships, love and moving on.
I really enjoyed this one and hope for more in the series with the friends Zoe and Lily.
Review
I have been looking forward to this book since reading Meet Me In London and this absolutely did not disappoint. Gone are the snowy scenes of London and Christmas and we say hello to sun, sea and surf.
It is another beautifully written story focusing on Malie and her journey of guilt, loss and grief and also of Todd's past of the same emotions.
I didnt fly through this one as quickly as the first book and that was purely because I didnt want this to end. I had tears in my eyes at the end as Malie conquers her fears and I am already looking forward to the 3rd instalment of this amazing series.
Having read Meet Me In London a couple of months ago, I was delighted to find out, this featured one of the close friends of Victoria, the main character of the first book. Malia is a surf chick in Hawaii, running from heartbreak after losing her brother, which ripped her family apart. Todd is a successful business man, heading up a charity project to help kids, following his own tough childhood. A heart-warming story of learning to love and trust again, I thoroughly enjoyed this, and am hoping for the next two books to feature the remaining two friends Zoe and Lily!
