I was so excited to read this book as I didn't expect another one in the series. It was great to be back in Mulberry lane. People here care for each other and there is always someone who will help out if you're in trouble. Peggy, Able and the twins are back running their guest house but Peggy's kind nature could bring trouble to her door. There are also babies born and new ventures . As always, nothing ever runs smoothly in life but these neighbours have battled through the war and know how to cope.
This series of books are such a delight and I immerse myself in them. Even though this book is called Stormy Days Ahead you can be sure of a rainbow somewhere along the line. Loved it and can't wait for the next one .
This is a thoroughly entertaining novel. I loved reading about a neglected period of history in post WWII Britain. The characters were a little too good to be true, but I was able to just immerse myself in their fascinating stories. This will be a must for readers of romantic sagas.
I was so looking forward to this new instalment in the Mulberry Lane series and i was not disappointed at all.Peggy and Able are back in the lane along with the twins and it's like they had never left, their friends and family are still busy peggy is getting on with life and running her guest house.I have to say that there are some ups and downs but also plenty of happy times.I have truly loved reading this series and will read them again.Thank you to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for the chance to review this EXCELLENT book.5
