This is a beautifully laid-out work book for children to go through and my twins have loved learning about kindness and participating in the activities. A particularly helpful book in what has been a tough year for a lot of children.
Create Your Own Kindness is a beautifully illustrated non-fiction book for children, designed to help them with their well-being.
The book is split into a number of topics, each of which has a clear explanation, example and an activity so that children can put the topic into practice.
I thought the book was absolutely fantastic and a must read for all children. As for adults, I would still recommend this book if you want a little pick me up or if you want to do something kind which doesn’t take up too much time this book is full of great ideas.
Overall, fantastic, the only flaw is I wish this book was around when I was a child.
In a world when you you can be anything, be kind. Sometimes life can feel overwhelming and that there is no kindness to be found. This beautiful book helps children and teens (adults too) how they can create their own kindness. Spread over three topic areas, it gives helpful suggestions on how you can bring a smile to your face, the faces if those around you or within the wider world.
A beautiful non-fiction title, encouraging children to create their own kindness and wellbeing by spreading kindness to others. I love the wide range of activities for children to complete. They are accessible by a wide age range. I particularly loved the kind words activity and the activity to create an emotional first aid box. I will absolutely be putting a copy of this in my class library and completing lots of the activities with my children! A beautiful book!
Unbelievably good book. I found this helpful and interesting as an adult but for kids this is just wonderful.
I particularly identify with the reading and tasks format. This works for me still as an adult and I strongly believe for children this helps things make sense and sink in.
The skills that this books teaches are not only imperative but are arming children with life skills that are so crucial that when they need to they will be pre armed and ready to cope with things life throws at them.
The illustration and format is beautiful and encourages engagement.
Huge fan of the two books and wish they had been around when I was little.
