So Wright is the first book in The Wrights series and tells the story of Miranda and Jack. They meet one evening at a bar and have a fantastic night together. Miranda has commitment issues, due to things that have happened as she was growing up and she never goes back for a second time. It soon becomes clear that there is no way for her to avoid Jack, as their lives cross and before long she is trying to find out if they can really have a future together.
This was a good read. I enjoy books with strong female leads and Miranda certainly falls into that category. She knows what she wants out of life, even if she does have a tendency to put off going for it. She has plenty of ambition and drive but lacks the confidence in her own abilities to take it all the way. Even so, she's already defied the odds and become a successful welder. Jack is looking for a relationship, but he hasn't been looking in the right places. He soon discovered that Miranda might just be what he needs.
I did think that this couple may have got on a little better if they had just talked a little more. Even so, they worked well as a couple and I enjoyed following their romance. This was a good read and I would be keen to read more in the series.

4 Classic Skye Jordan Stars
* * * * Spoiler Free-A Quick Review
I discovered Skye Jordan in 2013 and she rocked my world with her book, Reckless (Renegades #1). She created a world full of Alpha Stuntmen and the women they tripped over themselves for...And the Sexy times were just the right touch of sensual, flirty when needed, raw or drawn out to the point where you needed a cold drink of water after you finished reading that chapter.
In other words, she knew exactly how to capture a reader and hold them in the palm of her hand. She crafted a tale that had all the fixin'. A solid story, an undercurrent of some type of issue, and the unfortunate promise of there would be a conflict before the couple figured out the mistake. It all worked so well and I loved it.
Ms. Jordan went on to do more books in the series and now I found another series she has out. So Wright is the first of a trio of books, all available now to enjoy. This first book introduces you to Miranda Wright and Jack Taylor.
The blurb lays everything out and what you need to take with you when reading this is the fact that Miranda gives as good as she gets. She is strong because she had to be, with a background that is better it is in the past. It made her learn to close herself off and live her life the way she wanted, without any relationships except for one, the man who was the closest to a father.
Jack Tayor has his own things he needs to deal with and when he sets eyes on Miranda he is in for the ride of his life, mentally and physically. They connect from the start and we get to be there.
This series has 2 other books out- ready to binge.

Miranda Wright is a bad ass and Skye Jordan does a fantastic job bringing her to life on the pages of this fantastic Romantic Fiction.
When Jack and Miranda first meet, it is in a honky tonk bar in Nashville. Jack is here to visit his ailing Father from NYC and investigate some shady dealings at his Father's company. Miranda is a part time bartender and catches Jack's eye immediately. They spend one steamy night together, which is all Miranda is interested in. She has her nice life which she has worked hard to put together including a welding job and her adopted family. There is no time for romance but Jack is hooked and desperate to find her.
This is my first time reading Skye Jordan and won't be the last. She knows to write amazing character development and realistic dialogue. Miranda is a strong main character and doesn't put up with anything from anyone, which is really refreshing to read. Five stars for So Wright!
Since birth, Miranda has had to work for every penny herself, and has forged her own path. She works as a welder as her day job and on the side has a dream of building affordable housing for retired veterans. Jack is an architect from New York who has just had to come home to Nashville due to his ailing father, and his father’s business partner screwing him over. Did I mention that Jack’s father owns the business Miranda works for? Can the guy who seemingly has everything win over the scrappy welder from the wrong side of town?
This was the first book I’ve read from this author, and I really enjoyed it! Was it predictable? Yes. But it was still well done and I think that’s what counts. Miranda has been dumped on for her entire life, so it’s understandable that she would be really distrustful of Jack. I liked especially that Miranda is not the typical damsel in distress that you get from so many romance authors. She is a tough broad and has no problem letting you know that! I’ll definitely be checking out more books from Skye Jordan.

Skye Jordan brings us Miranda and Jack's story. We meet them as she juggles several jobs while volunteering for her dream job while he comes home to help his family. Their one night stand turns into something more complicated as they each harbor secrets that could ruin their fragile relationship. When the secrets come out, will it be too late for them or will it bring them closer together?
Skye Jordan brings us a story of instant attraction and the fragility of trust. She shows us what happens when you hold back too much of yourself and what keeping secrets can do to relationships.

I received a complimentary copy of So Wright in exchange for an honest review. I recently came across Skye Jordan and fell in love with her writing style, creativity, and storytelling abilities. This book lived up to the high expectations I've set for Ms. Jordan.
This was a very quick and easy read. There was just enough drama to keep it interesting. Miranda and Jack had a few obstacles to overcome, but the one I like the most was their different social economic and family backgrounds. I always love to see a character that was born and raised on the "wrong side of the tracks" break the cycle by having strong moral characters and becoming a productive asset to society. Miranda did this with grace.
Jack had a full plate with family and business conflicts, and he made a few assumptions that got him into trouble with Miranda, However, he was humble enough to know when he made a mistake, and made everything right.
This was another great read, and I am looking forward to Ms. Jordan's next book.
That instant chemistry you feel for someone that makes you feel like you have known them forever, and yet you haven't. When something starts as a casual late night thing and in the end turns in to something way more than you ever imagined it could. Great book, can't wait to read more from this author!
So Wright is another winner by Skye Jordan. I loved the immediate connection between Jack and Miranda. They were hot together! It was a bit predictable and their lack of communication led to a huge misunderstanding by they were able to work it out. I think Miranda forgave him too easily - I would have liked to see him squirm just a little.

What’s one other who’s writing style you know you can always expect and always right? This was my second Skye Jordan book ( I read Going Under in July!), and I recognized her writing right away! Her characters are different, but they all feel connected at the same time. I’m rambling, this has nothing to do with this book, just a fun observation I noticed! Moving on!
This is not a light and fun read that you pick up as a palate cleanser between heavier books. This is your guilty pleasure, can’t put it down but would blush if someone saw the page kind of book. We all need one of the latter every once in a while! The chemistry in this one is HOT and you’ll be hooked on these two just has quickly as they were hooked on each other! Skye Jordan’s stories keep a quick pace throughout that makes binge reading the book in one setting more than easy. This is book #1 in her new The Wrights series, stay tuned for more!
Miranda is a welder with a construction company, a part time bartender, and is building homes for homeless, veterans, and single parent low income families. She meets Jack on the bar and goes back to his hotel. Even though Miranda has a no seconds rule, she can’t help but feel a connection to Jack. Jack is an architect in New York and his family owns a construction company back in Nashville. When his father’s health declines and the partner embezzles money, he rushes back. Jack is combing the records and hiring private investigator to see if anyone else was helping. When evidence is discovered that Miranda might be involve, will he lose Miranda because he jumped to conclusions?
Excellent story with sex and a little intrigue. Miranda doesn’t get close to people because they always end up deserting her. Jack loves his family and will do anything for them.

I have to attempt I wasn't sure I'd like this book. I'm a judge a book by its cover and the cover was just okay for me. the description for sure made me want to read this... The sex and steam were off the charts and I loved it. I loved Miranda, she is a hard ass women whom is doing a job amazingly in a male dominated field.. Love it. Jack is your classic book boyfriend.. Saying and doing the exactly right things.. He's soft to Miranda hard . I do wish Miranda gave him more hell when he did her wrong. In total love everything, I was 💯 in this book..

This was a decent romance with a fiercely independent, tattoo wearing, country girl and a slick, sweet, persistent hero that wants it all with her. This was not an out-of -this world incredible but an entertaining novel with plenty of sizzle and potential.

A great start for a new series. Jack and Miranda meet at a bar, and she thinks it's gonna be one and done.....the best laid plans of mice and men. Jack is trying to find an embezzler and a thief in his father's company. Miranda is trying to get her business off the ground, but is afraid. She hides to much for him, and it almost ruins their fledgling romance. Her sister...I can't decide if I like her or not, and the brother we never see (but I'm guessing they will both get books). Now Roman...what's his story?
What I enjoyed the most about this story was that Miranda was unapologetically herself. Having a tough female character who doesn't need to be rescued is refreshing in a romance novel.
