Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for an ARC of Rebel Girls Lead: 25 Tales of Powerful Women in exchange for an honest review. I am not a stranger to the Rebel Girls books. Since I am raising 2 young women, I am teaching them to be leaders and stand up for others so we have had these books in our house. This book is a collection of their most loved leaders from their first three volumes of Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls. People discussed in this book are Michelle Obama, Kamala Harris, Lady Gaga, Aly Raisman, Cleopatra, and Harriet Tubman among others. This is another wonderful book showing girls what leaders do and empowering girls to fight for what is right and that they can do anything they want as long as they put their minds to it and become a rebel :)

A lovely short collection of female leaders in multiple disciplines, showing how girls can lead in many different ways. It shows us a leader is not just one type of person or in one role. The illustrations are also beautiful.

Another wonderful book in the Rebel Girls series. This one is as inspirational and creative as previous books. It's wonderful to focus on girls in leadership roles.

Thanks to Rebel Girls for the DRC!
This book brings inspiring examples of women leaders in politics, business, sports, activism, and more. They all come from different places, which makes this read even more relatable. I think it's an important read for young girls, who wonder if they will ever be able to help people and make a difference in the world somehow. I strongly recommend all books by Rebel Girls. Love them all.

I love this idea of a book of leaders that other girls can look up to. It contains a very diverse group of women, and I really liked learning about each.

The text was a bit dry and not that exciting for what the content is. I think it could have sounded more exciting and not so robotic. There were also a few leaders that had the space on the page to give more detail about their lives, but their story was cut a little short.

It's still a very valuable and empowering collection that I'm happy to see being published!

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with an e-arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Y'all know im huge fan of this book series, and this one wasn't an exception, i enjoyed reading this, i think its a perfect read for young children to show them there are amazing women out there who were able to fulfill their dreams. To show them they can do it too even when the world tell them they can't. It's a read to enjoy and to be educated.

This is the book I wish I had owned when I was younger. As I was growing up and learning about feminism and the strong women that pioneered women forward, it was a book like this that would have been my constant companion. The books short but succinct stories about female leaders from around the world is the perfect guide for any young feminist (and older feminists too). The stories document the lives of some remarkable women, those who are well know and those who are less so, but regardless each story amplifies the power women hold . The illustrations accompany each story perfectly, and whilst the stories are only short the combination of illustration and story together gives you all you need. One of my only qualms about the book is that I wish there had been more focus on women leaders in STEM, and also female writers throughout history. As someone who studies literature I would love to learn more about the women who pioneered literature. Overall however this is a beautifully written book that is the essential guide for any burgeoning or seasoned feminist out there.

Another absolutely stunning instalment for the Rebel Girls series of books!
This one brings 25 incredible women’s stories for us to share with all of the aspiring your women - and young men - in our lives.
I love how you have chosen well known women, as well as a large number of lesser well known, or even previously unknown women. I learnt a lot myself reading through their stories and absolutely loved reading it aloud to my children!
Can’t wait to buy the hard copy and also gift it to many others!!

This was such a cool and good grouping a rebel women! I really loved that I didn't know some of these women are. It just goes to show that so many women around the world are making impacts everyday just in their worlds. I also really liked how the art was different on each page and they were all so pretty!

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review!

This, like all the other books in the series, is a good book for young children, especially girls. I will certainly be adding it to my classroom book corner in the near future.

It is well written in language that is easy to understand for younger readers but doesn’t patronise. And the illustrations are beautiful as always.

My only negative about the book would be the lack of obvious LGBT (particularly T) representation in the book. The choice of women had some nice variety with the inclusion of indigineous people, women of colour, low income women etc. But there were a lot of American women featured and no trans women. I feel like better LGBT representation would have made this book a 5.

A couple of years ago I read Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: 100 Tales of Extraordinary Women and Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls 2 and I really enjoyed them; and this is really a continuation of those two volumes. It is so important, especially for little girls (I say little girls because I am pretty sure that is the main target audience, after all it is a children’s book about powerful women, but it can apply to anyone), to be made aware of the many wonderful women who have existed and the extraordinary things that they have done, because sometimes they are not as acknowledged as they should be.

I think that this book is very well done, considering the target audience for it. The illustrations are beautiful and very eye-catchy, and the lives of the women are concise and straightforward, only highlighting the most important events of their lives.

Rebel Girls Lead is a great book for younger girls to learn about strong women who have pushed past the standards held for women and made something of themselves. I don't think this book is just for younger girls or women though. I think everyone could learn something from this book about feminism and strong leading women.

I really enjoyed reading this book and learning about all of these women. This book was very inspiring and I can't wait to check out more books from REbel Girls.

What a brilliant book. I haven't really read any of the other 'rebel girls' titles so was new to it. I think this book is great. It tells brief stories of a number of inspirational women. Some of whom I had heard of, Michelle O'Bama, Aly Raisin etc but other were new to me. The illustrations and quotes are a really nice touch and I like the brief overview of each person's life and achievements
This is a great starter for kids and perfect to share in the classroom. It also inspired me to find out more about some of the women I'd never heard of.
Will definitely be getting a copy for my classroom. Highly recommend!

A great story highlighting important female leaders throughout history. The last few pages were particularly my favorite, encouraging children to be proactive, applying the readings to their own lives and beyond. A powerful book for children across all genders and a great starting point towards thinking about how to make a difference at a young age.

A brilliant and gorgeously illustrated book about twenty inspiring women in leadership who have made their mark in the world. Each story is told in an engaging and very readable fairy tale style. This will make a great addition in so many libraries and classrooms! Looking forward to buying the hard copy of this.

Rebel girls Lead is a short non-fiction book which has the stories of 25 female leaders.
I was aware of the stories of some of these women like Malala, Michelle Obama and Cleopatra, but the others were so inspiring like Kamala Harris, Lady Gaga and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Also loved the illustrations and the concept of adding one of their quotes.

Each tale is a few paragraphs and is accompanied with a drawing of the woman. All of the drawings in the book are by women from around the world! I loved seeing all of the different art styles, they were all really nice and added a vibrancy to the book. The stories were a bit on the short side, more a summary of motivations, accomplishments, and insights of each woman, but I think since this book is aimed toward younger audiences, it's good. I think children reading this book, maybe with their parents, will lead to some great conversations about how women impact communities and the world. I learned about some new leaders I hadn't known about previously, which is pretty awesome.

Both myself and my children really enjoyed these inspiration tales about inspirational women, and I can't wait to share what I learned with the students in my class when we return to school. It's full of confidence building, thought provoking incidents, that tell young people, both boys and girls alike, to shoot for the stars because life is what you make it.
