this was a really good read, I enjoyed getting to know these characters and their universe. It kept me invested and I had a lot of fun reading this.

3.5/5 Solid arena action. Some of the mysteries seem mysterious, but I have the feeling that going into book 2, some may be too telegraphed. The character stuff wasn’t my fave, and it took me literally half the book to fully connect the arena names of the fellas on the team with their real names...I guess I could have made some notes.
