The idea of the book showed promise however the writing didn't live up to it. It was a hard slog and wasn't my cup of tea at all sadly.

Even though the premise was interesting and story had funny moments, I couldn't get into it. The book wasn't my cup of tea, it's not one of my usual genres. However, I did find the Irish perspective refreshing.
