May to December relationships and romances explored again. Clare and her husband are more roommates now, the passion has gone and although they love each other they are not in love. Then Ella brings home a new boyfriend who is closer to Clares age and there is.......well something there. Will Ella repeat her mums pattern? Will Clare accept her lot or move on. And then there’s Anne!
This is a lovely book, not dramatic, rapid or unexpected, it’s soft, flowing, has gentle humour and is easy to read. Buy it! Read it! Love it!

Reminded me of Jill Mansell and Marion Keys
Such an easy read and light hearted. Definitely worth purchasing and you will not be able to put down. Put a smile on my face and cheered me up. Made the bank holiday weekend in lockdown relaxing

This book explores the May-December romance after many years, when still fairly young and active wives are acting as care givers and living as room mates with their spouses. When the daughter of one of the main characters starts to date a much older man, both her mother and a coworker try to warn her off. There are some side plots involving younger men and their attraction to the ladies but I find the parts about the decaying relationships with their much older husbands far more interesting.
