This book shows you how one tragic accident can change your whole world in a second. The unmentionable happens to Dana, and she has to deal with it, as well as the demands of a new baby. Book was well written and the author dealt with a very difficult subject in a sensitive manner.
This book was everything I look for in a book. It was so exciting. The plot was fantastic. It really had me on the edge of my seat, and my heart racing. It was very well written and flowed well.
Who do you trust?.. when everyone is lying.
Who Do You Trust by Kirsty Ferguson is a domestic thriller and follows the story of Dana. Dana has everything she has ever wanted – a loving husband, a daughter and another baby on the way. How could anything go wrong?
I am still very unsure about the ending but overall it was a very quick read with right amount of twists and turns to keep the story alive. I enjoyed reading this one.
Thank you Netgalley and Boldwood Books for a copy of this book for my honest review.
** Trigger Warning: death of a young child. **
This was a great domestic thriller book.
I thought the storyline was incredible and there were so many twists and turns in this book.
I will look out for Mores by this author
This was a quick read with twists. I have to say that it just didnt have the wow factor for me.. The ending was rushed so it didnt sound right. I found I didnt really connect with the characters.
Sadly I didn't finish this book I got about half way through and really struggled with it which was a shame I had really high expectations. But don't let that put you off we all enjoy different books so you may well enjoy this book.
Kristy Ferguson is an author whom I have read a book from before and enjoyed it. This time up I have to say I would give this one 3 out of 5 stars. The book started off great and progressed somewhat slow in places. The hardest part for me to understand was how could someone truly not feel like she could trust anyone in her life. With that though, I assumed mental illness was afoot with our protagonist. Overall, I Would recommend this book but do not have any preconceived ideas when starting it. ;
Thank you to netgalley as well as the author/publisher for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
Amazing and thrilling. Great read for around the pool ... although it may start make you wondering who to trust!
Dana has everything a loving husband and a beautiful daughter and a baby on the way.
The day starts off at a family bbq .
Dana’s daughter gets upset that she’s not brought her teddy and won’t settled so Dana decides as she isn’t drinking she will drive home and get teddy.
While reversing she runs her daughter over .
While dealing with this tragedy and loss she feels she cannot trust anybody.
A decent read
Thanks Netgalley
This was a well written, fun thriller! It kept my attention throughout and gave me tbr much wanted thrills, chills, and shocks I love in thrillers! Fast paced! I would recommend to my fellow thrill lovers!
I enjoyed Kirsty Ferguson's Never Ever Tell, so I was excited to read Who Do You Trust?...and I really liked it until the ending. I found it easy to empathize with Dana and found myself getting really angry with the people making her life more difficult while she was dealing with the grieving process. I didn't see the ending coming at all, and that's normally something I like, but in this case, it just depressed me. I generally like dark stuff, but that ending was too dark even for me. Who Do You Trust? is a twisty, heartbreaking thriller, and even though I really didn't like the ending, I enjoyed most of the book. Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for giving me the opportunity to read this novel.
STUNNING psychological thriller, well written with great characterization & suspense leading up to the mind blowing conclusion. Many kudos to this author, as this is the first book I have read of hers' but have since purchased #1 & plan to buy them all. This book keeps recurring in my thoughts with the explosive ending.
RECOMMEND highly. Thanks to NetGalley & Boldwood Books for this ARC in return for my honest review.
Kirsty Ferguson skillfully and chillingly explores our deepest and darkest fears in her latest twisted domestic drama, Who Do You Trust?
Dana’s life is as close to perfect as it is possible to get. She has the world at her feet and everything she has always wanted at her disposal: she has a husband she absolutely adores, a beautiful four year old daughter and another baby on the way. Her family life is absolutely perfect and Dana seems to lead a life free of stress, challenges and upheaval. However, all that is set to change when a cruel twist of fate makes one of her worst fears a reality leaving Dana doubting everything and everyone she thought she knew. As everything Dana took for granted becomes tainted by uncertainty and ambiguity, she cannot help but wonder who can she really trust? Her husband? Her friends? Her family? Can Dana even trust herself when everything is distorted with apprehension and incertitude?
Dana’s entire world begins to change and she soon realises that the people she loves might not have been as honest with her as she thought. Her husband Logan and her best friend Pippa have started to get far too close for comfort and her parents and sister might be worried about her, but she knows that they are keeping a terrible secret from her. Can Dana turn to her friends Melanie and Matt? Melanie does seem to always turn up in the strangest places and at the strangest times and Matt might say that he is a friend to Dana, so why can’t she shake off this awful feeling in the pit of her stomach that he isn’t all that he seems? As Dana sinks deeper and deeper into this quagmire, she realises that trusting anyone in her circle is the worst thing that she could possibly do and that if she doesn’t act fast then she will live to regret the decision she had made of letting her heart rule her head…
Kirsty Ferguson’s Who Do You Trust? is a deftly plotted psychological crime thriller that grabs your attention from page one and keeps readers hooked and on the edge of their seats until the final jaw-dropping twist. Kirsty Ferguson has penned a chilling, sinister and tension-filled thriller dripping with menace and danger in the best-selling tradition of Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train.
Eerie, creepy and absolutely terrifying, make sure you don’t read Kirsty Ferguson’s Who Do You Trust? late at night or in an empty house.
I received an ARC copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for my honest opinion of it. I knew that there was a tragedy but this was just too kuch for me and I could not finish it.
NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘Who Do You Trust’ by Kirsty Ferguson in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
An interesting read, a little slow and predictable in places, but all in all recommended.
Who Do You Trust? is a dark web of drama, accidents, motives and lies. It is the newest thriller that follows the life of Dana, a pregnant mother whose daughter, Kelsey, was a bubbling vibrant and curious young girl. At least that was before a tragic accident that will change the family forever.
Pregnant Dana spirals down to a put of grief, guilt and dispair. She has no idea how she is going to be cope with life without her bubble of joy. Especially when her husband and those she trusted don’t seem to understand how she feels, they seem to expect her to pack up her memories and move on. Nobody seems to understand until she agrees to go grief support group and some new friends. But who should she trust, her new friends that seem to understand her but she knows nothing about, or her friends and family who she knows but they just do not understand.
This thriller is a mouse hunt full of deceptive clues. It is well written and fast paced with a whole cast of suspects. Someone is playing mind games with Dana but who is the very last question you get answered. I throughly enjoyed this thriller, I didn’t want to put it down, to miss out on the events and suspense. The whole game is a dark web of surprises, the truth stalking in the shadows.
I loved the writing style, it was easy to get on with and fast paced. It was addictive, gritty like dark chocolate. It lingered and left you craving more. As a mother, I will admit it was a tough read because of the themes. But even with the hard themes, I felt they were well tackled and handled delicately enough. A very hard job to do so bravo.
I would highly recommend this read, but don’t tread lightly. The truth is more complicated than it appears. I will warn you, the book involves the theme of child death, infant loss and suicide attempt. It may be hard to read for some readers.
4.5 rating
Firstly thank you to the publishers for my copy to review on netgalley. This is a new author to me and safe to say I’ll be reading more.
Wow what a book…my mind is quite blown away after devouring in one go. There’s a lot going on in this book so prepare for a twisty roller coaster and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
As the title suggests who do you trust? Because everyone has secrets and hidden agenda.
Chilling ,dark, unsettling thriller that will leave you quite disturbed….
A fantastic original psychological thriller and a author whos clearly not holding back in this genre!

Who Do You Trust? by Kirsty Ferguson is quite a shocking read! Twists and turns, I couldn’t put it down. Kristy Ferguson has a beautiful writing style that really draws the reader in. I love psychological thrillers, and this is a prime example of why.
Who Do You Trust? deals with quite a few difficult themes to read, but Kirsty Ferguson handles them with grace. We see loss of a child, grief, suicide, murder, and a slew of other themes. My heart broke. The emotional rollercoaster was quite a ride.
Like I said, there are lots of twists and turns. I was absolutely obsessive, while reading this one. I couldn’t put it down, and I am so impressed. This was an easy five starts to give.
Highly recommended!

I’ve found it really difficult to sum up my experience of this book, so let me try and explain it to you by way of a random link. You know if you go on a diet, and you eat that piece of low fat carrot cake? You know it’s not going to be the “usual” thing you’re used to, yet it is strangely familiar and parts of it are comforting, whilst you still feel unnerved about the fact you are on a diet and eating cake? That’s how this book felt for me! In other words, despite it being quite different to what I was expecting, I couldn’t get enough of it. It was engaging, gripping, addictive and yet a little disconcerting. I could have maybe just said that without the carrot cake reference, but it felt right at the time 🤣
I think the main thing that struck me as different is I didn’t like any of the characters. Not one. I’d say between them all, they cover all of the seven deadly sins. They are just generally jealous, nasty and self-invested individuals. However, the writer still works hard to pepper the narrative with elements of redemption and humanity, so that you still feel compelled to follow their story.
There are a number of twists and turns in the book that kept me on my toes! However, for me, the best thing about this book for me was the mind-blowing twist towards the end that I did not see coming. I love it when I am proved wrong!
Overall, this has been an unpredictable, easy read that I have enjoyed. Despite feeling far-fetched to begin with, the author has managed to deliver a clever and developed narrative that will undoubtedly shock you!
Who Do you trust by Kirsty Ferguson is a psychological thriller and if Kirsty's previous books are anything to go by I was expecting a great story with a few twists along the way.
Dana, Logan and their daughter four year old Kelsey are all at a barbecue at her mum and dads when a tragedy happens after Kelsey's favourite teddy bear goes missing. They have to keep going even as Dana's world is icrumbling around her and she feels she doesn't know who to trust.
I found this a story full of characters that are flawed in lots of ways, I struggled to connect with anyone initially but as the story unfolded I was gripped by the atmospheric read. The characters are authentic and definitely complex with a plot that is twisty and has the right amount of pace. As the story builds so does the tension and before I knew it I was unable to put the book down as I wanted to get to the end and what an end! A very original book, well worth it if you enjoy an atmospheric, dark and tense read.
Thanks to Rachel's Random Resources, Boldwood Books and Netgalley for my copy of the book.
