A good collection of simple reciples, with some offering a different twist to a normal recipe. I did find it wasn't the most veggie friendly cookbook I've read though.

Brilliant selection of easy to follow recipes, made a couple and had brilliant success, would buy the book and other books by the author in the future to create more of there recipes.

Great recipes with clear instructions and helpfully divided into sections like quick dinners, weekend food, budget wonders etc. There's also helpful advice on meal planning, utensils and pans as well as how to make some dishes (like toasties) which would not normally be cooked on a hob. While there weren't really many dishes which were new to me, I appreciated that there were some vegetarian recipes, and plenty that are family friendly.

As far as cook books go the recipes here are nice and simple, tasty and good to plan meals using. This is a good book to have around the kitchen for when you are looking for every day inspiration on what to cook.

This was a really interesting, inspiring little cookery book that has given me lots of ideas for future meals and desserts. I enjoyed reading it and the photography was excellent too.

A simple, tasty, book with loads ideas that cuts on the cooking utensils.
Many recipes repeated for family. A must have.for the collection.

Some great recipes the whole family has enjoyed. Definitely liked the idea of one book concentrating on hob cooking.

I have tried some of these recipes and they have all been good. I will definitely continue with trying some others.

Lots of delicious healthy recipes that were enjoyed by my whole family. Simple easy to obtain ingredients many that you have in your cupboard

Fantastic book, filled with so many great recipes, this has been a great use to me and will be for years I think , easy to follow and understand, appealing pictures and so tasty
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

Loved this book so much I bought a hardback copy. I love cookery books and it doesn't even matter if I never cook anything from them because it's just a delight to own them and look at them. But this one has a quality that is actually quite rare in some quarters - it's USEFUL! Quick, uncomplicated and delicious recipes that work in a busy lifestyle that seem to please a fussy 8 year old. Love the concept, love the presentation, particularly love the meal planner section at the back. Great little cook book that WILL get used again and again.

Good easy recipes to try. Love the concept of just cooking dishes on the hob. Favourite was the salmon dish.

I love cookery books. This one 'Hob' sounded really interesting as all dishes are cooked only using the hob. Got to be good when all energy prices are increasing and we all want to save a little by not using the oven every day. The recipes in this book are mostly easy to make and there a large choice of all different things that you can choose from.
I'm not used to cook books via my kindle and I think this book will be a lot better and easier to read in paperback / hardback. One of my favourite recipes in the book is the One Pan Pizza. The ingredients are all ones we usually have at home and you could even add a few of your own choice toppings. I added pineapple, despite it not being in the original recipe.
Another recipe I have bookmarked to try is Popcorn Chicken Nachoes. This sounds delicious to me.
There is a glossary at the back where all recipes are listed alphabetically, and while this is good to browse through, I personally would prefer it if it were listed in meal descriptions, for example breakfasts / lunches / snacks etc. The book is written this way in its 'chapters' and as a paperback, this would work great. It just made reading and finding the recipes slightly more difficult in the kindle version.
Overall, I definitely recommend this as a different and delicious sounding cookery book. I will be continuing to try more of the recipes from here.

I’m so late with this review because I’ve been working my way through the book and have cooked so many great meals. I have at least posted about them on Instagram a number of times. I can’t call myself a cook book aficionado by any stretch, but this is easily the best cook book I’ve ever used. Great variety of easy recipes and every one has been a winner. Highly recommended.

This is a great little cookbook and has been incredibly useful for me as I've just gone back to work post baby :)

Not the most inspiring cookbook on the market, but it does have some super simple recipes that can spare the faff.

I think this book has a good variety of recipes from established family favourites to the more unusual. From the simple to the more complex. I think rather too long is pent on identifying pots, pans and kitchen essentials for any but the very inexperienced. I am not sure I would but it for myself but would make a good gift for someone just setting up home

Really good idea. Helpful recipes designed in a new way. Can’t wait to try the lasagne recipe. So many I can make for my pre schooler too!

This is a great cookbook and one I think is destined to become a regular go-to in my house. It is well laid out, and full of quick and easy recipes all of which can be cooked on the hob, perfect when you are want to cook tasty but easy food. There are plenty of recipes I still want to try and have recommended several to my student-age children who have also enjoyed cooking and eating them!

This is my type of cookbook - super simple instructions, no long lists of complex ingredients, and recipes that don't require you to use every piece of equipment in your kitchen.
I loved the range of recipes in this and although i've not made a huge number of them, the ones i have done were great. Also, who knew you could make pizza in a frying pan in fifteen minutes!!
