A fun story featuring dragons.

After finding himself trapped in a storm, Erehwon was the last place Sir Maddy was expecting to end up in. The near-death experience and no visible way back to home could not hold him back from foolishly wandering around the place to gather treasures. In no time, he was once again confronted by a grave danger. After collapsing, the next thing he remembered was a mesmerizing tune reaching his ear. He woke up to discover a crowd of merry dragons. Despite being a stranger, he was accepted by the kind creatures and he eventually got familiar with the way their world worked. Not long after his arrival, Fogarty, the only heir of the royal throne was born. The disabilities of the new born child brought down his possibilities of succeeding to the throne. Determined to pull him out of the misfortune, Sir Maddy accepted the child as his godson. With very few people on his side, a difficult challenge awaited Forgarty- would he be able to prove his worth?

It was a nice book of rational length, and the author's choice of words is noticeably good although it might get a little difficult for the target audience to follow the meaning. The story comes with a message that no position can ever be seized through cunning deception and the attempt is pretty much likely to end up as a disaster.

I felt that the author did a better job with the initial chapters. The following ones could use a little more effort.

Some of the stuff (for example why it is hard for dragons to mate) are clearly inappropriate for children and should not be in the book.

Shortcomings aside, it was a fine read. Recommended for dragon lovers.
