Due to a sudden, unexpected passing in the family a few years ago and another more recently and my subsequent (mental) health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for several years after the bereavements. This meant I didn't read or venture onto netgalley for years as not only did it remind me of that person as they shared my passion for reading, but I also struggled to maintain interest in anything due to overwhelming depression. I was therefore unable to download this title in time and so I couldn't give a review as it wasn't successfully acquired before it was archived. The second issue that has happened with some of my other books is that I had them downloaded to one particular device and said device is now defunct, so I have no access to those books anymore, sadly.
This means I can't leave an accurate reflection of my feelings towards the book as I am unable to read it now and so I am leaving a message of explanation instead. I am now back to reading and reviewing full time as once considerable time had passed I have found that books have been helping me significantly in terms of my mindset and mental health - this was after having no interest in anything for quite a number of years after the passings. Anything requested and approved will be read and a review written and posted to Amazon (where I am a Hall of Famer & Top Reviewer), Goodreads (where I have several thousand friends and the same amount who follow my reviews) and Waterstones (or Barnes & Noble if the publisher is American based). Thank you for the opportunity and apologies for the inconvenience.

So many books I can't wait to read coming out soon! Too many to even list... I'm looking forward to requesting the next seasonal one of these

The books in the sampler:
I give it a year, Helen Whittaker - a tense beginning, loads of drama, could be a good book about relationships and marriages.
Gillian Harvey, Perfect on paper - The beginning is was interesting enough, but so far I was not sure where the change will lead her - and what sort of chance awaits her. But I am intrigued enough to find out.
Libby Page, The Island Home - a story about coming back to your home, clearly with some secrets to surprise teh reader - I cannot wait to read it.
What's Mine and Yours, Naima Coster - a very emotional opening, a story that along with The Island Home sounds teh most appealing to me.
A really good selection, I will make sure I will buy all pf them for the library.

Fantastic insight into what books to look out for over the next few months.
I love how you get the sample chapters included it helps you choose your favourites

I am really getting addicted to these samplers because I love being able to read different genres and get a feel for the writing style of various authors!

This was a great sampler of 2021 women fiction, I am especially excited for Perfect on Paper and The Island Home
Thank you Orion for the sneaky peak into these titles.

Thank you for the opportunity to read these samples.
Books which I would be particularly interested in reading arc's of are:
Perfect on Paper
The Island Home
What's Mine and Yours

I always love the opportunity to see whats coming up and to discover some authors I otherwise might not choose to read. Libby Page was always going to be on my list as have loved her previous books but now have some others to look forward to.

So many amazing books that are coming out this year, I am looking forward to in particular Perfect on Paper by Gillian Harvey, The Island Home by Libby Page, mind you by reading the first couple of chapters of each I want them all to add to my collection!

I loved the chance to try the first chapters of forthcoming books, definitely added a couple more titles to my want to read lists.

Some great new books coming up this year, can’t wait to have a read of I give it a year by Helen Whitaker

Excellent selection of upcoming titles in the Womens fiction genre, I will be interested to read several of them.

The Oriion Women's Fiction sampler for 2021 features an interesting selection of writers and their novels, featuring the likes of Helen Whitaker, Gillian Harvey Libby Page and Naima Coster. Page's The Island Hope caught my attention, although my favourite turned out to Harvey's Perfect on Paper, the sample turned out to be both fun and entertaining. All in all, I enjoyed all of the samples on offer here.

Women's fiction wouldn't normally be my go to genre so it was a great opportunity to see some samples of upcoming titles.

I enjoyed this sampler but I wish there was a contents page with a link to each individual sample!
My favourite samples were from Helen Whitaker's I give it a year and Libby Page's The Island I have purchased the former and pre ordered the latter.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher.

Lovely sampler that was very enjoyable to read. I was gripped after the first two chapters.
Thanks Orion!

Ok, So i have just downloaded this and added the following to my wishlist immediately! I read the first chapter of each one and here are my thoughts!
I Give it a year -
So, I personally don't usually like storylines that involve a cheating spouse or women with children but this book has me intrigued based on the first chapter.
The Island Home -
Ok, I REALLY want to carry on reading this. I feel like its going to be an emotional read!! I will definetely buy this when it comes out in paprback :)

Loved the chance to read a few chapters of some of the new releases coming up. It's nice to get a feel of a book before you commit to reading. Thank you for creating this mini sampler book

Great selection of books coming up – can’t wait!
Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.
