This is a great, quick, steamy read and the author has created some great characters with lots of chemistry- Will definitely recommend.
This is the 3rd book in the Gold series but you dont have to have read the previous books to read this. I found the story well set with Desta and Maurice unknowingly flirting online with each other and then deciding to meet up at an exclusive event where their true identities are revealed. They decide to one weekend where they can explore their relationship and each other but when Monday comes around they decide to keep their relationship going to see where it goes. I have given three stars as I thought the twist was an obvious one and one that I guessed quite early on but other than that it was a nice easy read
I read this ARC for an honest review

Enjoyed this a lot
Fast paced, well written
Liked the characters and the story
A fast-paced, modern read. The premise of a weekend away for couples to get to know each other and have a good time was great. Maurice and Desta were a cute couple with worries, insecurities and jobs that they love. The issues that they worked through were real and really drew me in. The ending all unwrapped very quickly but came after a good exploration of the characters. There were even some clear goodies and baddies!
A dating app by any other name, is still a dating site and when two work friends and colleagues start messaging each other anonymously, the very, sexy, serious, games begin.
A weekend workshop retreat, to meet the matched number you've been connecting with surprises them both. But the deep erotic fantasies they've shared and their close friendship both in and outside of the work place, helps them build a new more rewarding closeness and relationship.
They both have been emotionally hurt in the past and their new closeness forces their issues to be faced and dealt with.
With a happy ever after ending in this romantic story of love, commitment, happiness and marriage in their future together.
I found it a little difficult to get into this book. Usually I am a big fan of the ‘Dare’ books, but I found it hard to empathise with the characters in this one. The relationship felt a little forced and the characters didn’t seem to have enough chemistry to make it believable. However it was an easy read, despite this, and I liked the idea for the plot which was fairly original.
