I wanted to read the entire series before I reviewed it.
I enjoyed it a lot. The description of the place, I could just imagine it as if I were there.
I loved the main character, she made me think and made me have fun.
The only thing, we didn't get a big epilogue, with these type of books I always want a big ending, we have seen hardships and heartbreaks that I want the good stuff too, specially what happened with Galen.
This is the second time I fall in love with a Galen.
Can't wait to see if there is a spin off o more of this series
So! Book 3! I was extremely excited to start this one as I really enjoyed the first two. Safe to say, I was not disappointed!
I am a little confused by the title, but that’s all.
I really enjoyed the climax, it was really well written and although I am sad to see the trilogy end, I really liked how well this book wrapped up.
I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys an easy-going fantasy read!
This is the final book in the Monster MASH trilogy and it's time to end this war. Dr. Petra Robichaud has been chosen by the fates to stop the old and new gods no matter the cost. Petra shies away from being a leader to the thousands of soldiers conscripted into the army, but they need her if they'll ever see peace again.
This book had a bit more romance than the others. I wasn't surprised to see Galen again, but it was interesting how the love triangle between Petra, Marc, and Galen al went down. After seeing Petra get back with her first love, I wasn't sure if Galen would be a love interest again. I did think Petra could have handled things better and she hurts people's feelings a few times.
I was excited to see a battle finally after three books, but I was let down. The ending was anti-climactic like the others and I should have seen it coming. At least this time we got a happy ever after for the characters.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book. Thank you to NetGalley and Moose Island Books for the copy.
Well it's over. I love Medusa's baby shower that was funny. All the games they played and all the banter during the party. I like the fact that Galen came back and it turns out he was the one that saved Marc. I also feel the ending was okay but doesn't it suck knowing that you've been fighting for so long simply becausee the Gods were scared off getting hurt themselves.
Out of all the books this one was by far my favorite. After a rocky start regarding Petra’s relationship everything finally comes to a head, including the end of the Gods’ war. Funny too how it turns out none of the humans even needed to be there as they were all literally just pawns for the gods who didn’t want to get harmed themselves-because surprise surprise the Gods can actually die. There are a few new prophecies, dragons and the birth of the cutest little baby for Medusa. While I didn’t foresee a lot that happens I’m glad things finally worked out in the end and a HEA was possible. Honestly after the end of the last book I had zero idea where things were headed or how they would work out. I think Petras HEA took me by surprise the most. (view spoiler) Not 100% sure I would have finished out the series if not for receiving ARCs but again I did really enjoy this one and I’m glad everything finally worked out. Only wish we got more of an epilogue perhaps years into the future rather than weeks. I’m sad the whole MASH group got broken up but the war ending finally gave them all a chance for their own HEA.
Coming in on the last book of the Trilogy, it is surprisingly easy to get up to speed. New to me Ms. Fox pens a surprising conclusion on the war between the gods. I would recommend reading the first 2 books in this trilogy for a better backstory. Full disclosure, I only read this book and it still made sense.
In this world of battle where the soldiers are pressed to fight by the gods, Petra is irregular in that she's human. Human with a little twist. She sees dead people. That in itself isn't too special until it's coupled with a prophecy. Petra's life has been upended and she is stuck in this unrelenting war. Is this hell or is this purgatory? All she knows is that she needs to keep her talent a secret whilst she spends day after day, trying to save the lives of solders dying in a meaningless war. As a doctor, her inability to save every life drains her. Her friendships and lovers help to keep her sane in this never ending war.
Petra's life is complicated and it gets even more complicated when her ex and a fugitive enter into her camp for help. Whilst trying to help her ex, she has to attend a baby shower... for Medusa. I have to say, the baby shower is hilarious with a delightful evil twist. Whilst a bit terrifying at times, it is still pretty funny, especially Petra's reaction. For a dire war time, it is nice to see the comradery amongst the medics and solders. The way they banded together to keep the investigators from their goal was inventive and entertaining.
Ms. Fox's writing style is appealing and lively. Her characters are memorable. This first taste of her story has me hooked and I want to read more stories from her. After reading this one, I'll be checking out the first two books in the trilogy as well as other books. This fun blend of supernaturals, quirky and sometimes surreal situations makes for an enjoy read. This urban fantasy is recommended to readers who like snark and irreverence towards higher beings.
With thanks to Angie Fox and Moose Island Books for an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
We're picking up 3 months after the end of the previous instalment and Dr. Petra Robichaud is working for the 3063rd M*A*S*H unit on the edge of the war that is raging between old gods and new.
An enjoyable quick read. Predictable storyline but with good execution and likable characters.
I am really confused about the title, as others have mentioned, there is a werewolf from London, but it has little to nothing to do with the storyline and would be generously considered a C character. That's my only real complaint, seems like an odd choice.
Firstly the title: Why it has that title is beyond me, there is a werewolf from England as a secondary character but it has nothing to do with the story whatsoever. The story continues in Limbo our heroine is human, her lover is a demi-God and her ex is a dragon shifter so it is really a misleading title.
As for the plot: The second book had Petra rebound with her former partner, that's over and now she is back with Galen a bit of romantic whiplash but understandable that her relationships evolve as they do. As for the big battle, it was pretty anticlimactic but I believe the author is trying to show that people shouldn't blindly follow orders. That the smallest thing can bring about lasting peace.
The trilogy as a whole was an okay read. Would I read it again? No. Do I recommend it? Only if you have nothing else to read.
I received an arc of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This book should have a warning to come with it. I have never laughed at a book like that before. There was alot going on in this book with medusa and a dragon and let us not forget....a war between the gods. I just could not put this book down. It was hilarious. I recommend this book to everyone who needs some good laughs and a quality read.
This is the final book in the Monster M.A.S.H series and whilst it can be read as a standalone I recommend reading the previous books first .
Petra is back on the front lines in the ongoing war between the 'new' and 'old' gods , treating the injured once again ..... her prophecies keep coming ............. when her injured ex-lover reappears and he is not alone just who can she trust ?.
Will the prophecy that a healer who can see the dead really end the war ....... will she survive ........ and just who will she choose, Marc or her ex-lover Galen ?
Will the secrets revealed by loose lips effect the final battle ? .... the fate of humanity is at stake !
This is a fast paced , highly entertaining book with plenty of lighter moments in the darkness of war- what will Petra buy Medusa for the baby shower ? and as for the baby delivery !!!!!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own
This just wasn’t a book for me. I struggled to read it and it took much longer than I anticipated. It was very well written it was just a book out of my comfort zone
The truce is over, war rages on and the prophecies keep coming. Petra is back to the frontlines tending to the injured once again. Between her secret she is so desperate to keep and the role she plays in the prophecies, she doesn’t have to many choices or control in her life. Unfortunately, her life has gotten even more complicated when her ex-lover is back on the scene, wounded and not alone. Which one will she choose and, with the fate of humanity at stake, will their desire be worth the cost?
This final entry into the Monster M*A*S*H series, Werewolves of London is the epic finale have been waiting for. Humor, action, DRAGONS! and HEAs all around really made it had to put it down. In fact, I couldn’t. I ignored everything and read it in one sitting. Galen’s BAAACK! And Mark is still around. Oh boy, this could get messy. I know who I’m cheering for. And speaking of messy, Medusa not only has a baby shower, but she also has a – my lips are sealed here. Really, I don’t know which had me laughing harder the baby shower or the delivery. All I can say is wow! Throw into the mess dragons, lips that let a secret out, and a final battle to round out all the excitement that leads to one heck of an ending.
I freaking loved this book! In fact, the whole series was great. So much action and excitement to be had. The ending was epic and perfectly rounded out the series. I’m going to miss all the characters and the predicaments Petra found herself in. Happily I see Angie Fox has more books for me to read so even though this series is done, I can still continue to enjoy more of her books.

I received this book from Netgalley. I was not compensated for the book other than the entertainment it provided. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Werewolves of London is the third and final installment in author Angie Fox's Monster M*A*S*H trilogy. 3 months have passed since the ending of The Transylvania Twist. Dr. Petra Robichaud works for the 3063rd MASH unit on the fringes of a war between the old gods, and the new gods. She recently discovered that the man she thought died 10 years ago, is actually alive and was actually working for her enemies. There is also this prophecy that states that a healer who can see the dead could be the one who finally stops the war which has been raging since the fall of Troy.
The oracles have prophesied that a healer who sees the dead along with her bronze weapon will lead the charge to the finish. If Petra's secret is discovered, it's an automatic death sentence since the Gods have forbidden her talent. To add a few twists to the story, Marc believes it is time to ask Petra to finally marry him which isn't something Petra is ready for. Especially since she had her heart broken, and she can't go anywhere the war is over, or she ends up a casualty of the war. To make this even more twisted, Galen of Delphi arrives at camp injured and he brought with him a special dragon named Leta.
Leta, like most Dragons not named Marc, were forcibly collared and used by the Gods as Kamikaze bombers. And, if that weren't enough excitement, the brief cease fire between gods comes to an end with the arrival of investigators who are looking for two very important people; Galen and Leta. Oh, and let's not forget one of the strangest baby showers that you will ever read about. Petra is invited by Medusa to attend her baby shower along with all of Medusa's sisters and the Fates in attendance who provide Petra with one more piece of the puzzle that she'll need if she's going to stop the fighting between Gods.
Will Petra’s secret be exposed? Can she bring the war to an end? Will Petra finally make a choice between Galen and Marc? Can Galen help Petra achieve the last three prophecies? What other hurdles will the couple face to be together before the war is over? And, will Petra live to tell the story once the entire universe knows who she is?
Overall, I'm a bit confused by the abruptness of the ending but I'm glad that Petra finds a bit of a happy ending. For a long time, Petra didn't want to get her heart broken again, especially by Galen who left her go to back to doing what he does best. Petra’s struggles to succeed in ending the war mirrored her struggles to connect with her forever love. I'm a little confused by the title because honestly it doesn't make sense except for the fact that the author enjoys a bit of sarcasm from her characters.

I was dreading this series ending. But, this was such a good place to end that it makes up for it. In this final story, HE comes back. Yes, she’s still annoyed with him, and still sort of with Marc, but things aren’t good with Marc either. There’s a baby shower for a gorgon, and another set of prophecies to be had, and a romance to detangle.
In the end, this is a satisfying end to a fun trilogy, and though I always want more of my favorites, I know there will be more from this author to fall in love with.
I got about thirty five percent in before I gave up. Interesting book but not a first in a series. I’d rather start at the beginning.
Final book in the Monster MASH trilogy and more pranks and prophecies for supernatural MASH doctor, Petra. I enjoy this and seeing how everything played out with the prophecies. There were some fun parts with an 'orgy' in the mine field - not what it sounds like - and Medusa's baby shower and some meddling by the Fates. I did feel a little whiplash readjusting to Petra's change in direction, yet again, in her love life - and I felt very sorry for the odd man out - but all of the other parts and her crazy fellow MASH staff made up for that. I am glad that I finally had the opportunity to read this series, even in it's new and improved incarnation, it had been on my to read list for years.

I had started reading this series years ago and am so glad I finally got to finish it (to be fair, a reread of those first books is in order though)! I find the paranormal M*A*S*H unit concept super fun and I love the diversity in supernatural characters (there's even dragon shifters!!! 😍 Got your attention now don't I? Lol). That being said, the star of the show in this book is definitely Medusa - that baby shower scene cracked me up! 😆 And the birth!!! 😱 Petra also undergoes some great character development and I'm happy Galen is back! My only complaint is that I wish the ending had more action! It was a little rushed and felt too easy considering the amount of tension and the feeling of impending doom throughout the rest of the book. Nevertheless, if you love the series M*A*S*H, urban fantasies and mild steam, I would definitely suggest giving this a try!
A huge thank you to Netgalley and Moose Island Books for the e-copy in exchange for an honest review!

3.75 Hearts This is the last in the trilogy and I can’t believe how sad I am about that. But I am so glad I read them back to back. They are quick reads and so fun.
Petra is back at fulfilling her prophecies at the MASH unit and I am so glad that Galen in back. I mean Marc can’t hold a candle to Galen. But I understand her reluctance I mean after all the demi-god broke her heart once. Will he do it again? Every character in this story could be a story all on their own but together they shine.
And oh how I want to tell you about Medusa’s baby shower and the laughing I did but no one should have that joy taken away from them.
I wish there was more. Maybe one day Fox will bring us back and let us know how everyone is doing.

I am almost devastated that this series is over, but the author wrapped it up incredibly well.
I fell in love with these characters and quickly devoured the entire trilogy, not being able to wait to see what would happen next.
Thank you for rekindling my reading addiction.
I'll definitely be seeking out your other series.

Full disclosure: I was given a free ARC for my review on Net Gallery. Below is my honest and spoiler free review.
Unfortunately, I don’t think I am Fox’s target reader. On the surface, I am - I personally love:
- Genre: Urban fantasy
- Background: Paranormal tropes played out in the backdrop of a war.
- Main Character: Brainy protagonists who have a healing gig – in this case within a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital.
- Positive character trait: brain over brawn to fix problems, especially via loopholes.
All big ticks for me… However, this book was one I had to forced myself to finish. It has many of the things I personally hate:
1. A whiny female main character. Everyone thinks main character is wonderful, however, I on the other hand… I want to slap her.
2. An awful love triangle between two ex-lovers *rolls eyes*.
3. The main ex-lover who the main character moons over re-enters her life and her reaction is; “I can’t possibly get back with because he’s going to leave...but he’s so sexy…I can’t help myself!” *facepalm* but like any terrible so-called Rom-Com, suddenly her reasoning why she can’t be with him is now fine, and they bumping uglies together.
4. Also the trope of; an immortal hero that gave up all his power for his lover, but they cannot be together because he a spy and he still has spy stuff to do, but you know he needs main character’s help. It’s just such a so overdone trope and this book doesn’t make it interesting or unique enough to warrant using it.
The ONLY thing I enjoyed about it was Medusa’s baby shower. Those short scenes had SOME originality and humour. Overall, if you enjoyed the first two, or into tired run-of-the-mill-Rom-Coms within an Urban Fantasy setting, this is your happy ever-after. Otherwise AVOID.
